Took me a bit to read all of this probably should of read it all before posting. I find this argument between the three of you stupid. Like Craze said, Pud was just.. (I love banana pudding) Pud was just trying to prove his point like Dup told him too. Yeh he did come off as a bit of a know-it-all but he wasn't really being a twat. No offence but you (Massacre) and gtagrl were being a bit twatty imo. Again, like Craze said.. he was reacting not attacking much like he did earlier with gtagrl. Lets all just play nice now. I was really enjoying this thread.

2nd Trailer will be out on either the 31st of October, 2nd of November, or the 7th of November. Maybe. Or maybe they'll just release the game without any warning.

So I can sit in it and pretend to be a fisherman, making splishy-splashy noises and imagining a huge shark in the water that might eat me if I fell in.

i really hope they dont make money a storyline issue. that was a HUGE mistake in GTA IV. by half way through the story i have at least half a million yet Niko is still complaining about how badly he needs cash.

I personally think that graphics do make games better. it allows you to become more enriched in the charactors and the environments in the game, thats why if you look at other games ( like madden, need for speed, COD to name a few) all of these games have made their games more appealing by the ir new graphics. You know how many times ive played madden 9 after 12 came out? NONE, thats because the old square and color graphics get borring after awhile.

    How do you know that?

Interesting. To be honest I've always firmly believed there will be more than 1 city just because Los Santos really doesn't look that big and as mentioned before very few skyscrapers.

Some of you people sure do get upset when someone suggests Los Santos is small. I figure if I bothered you so much, you'd want to shut me up or make me look like a fool and the best way to do that would be to show that my estimates are baseless and inaccurate. No one has because they can't. Every argument against me is based on unlikely assumptions. The person who made some claims was unable to back them up and has shown that he's probably a liar. All of my estimates are objective. I'm not skewing anything to make the map look small. Some more stuff... Back to this pic - http://i.imgur.com/wfb8w.jpg The ship picture is in first person. The Statue of Happiness is in third person camera mode. Even taking into account the size differences of background objects in different perspectives, the size differences increase/decrease at a greater rate than distance traveled. For instance, a short distance on the map has a large effect on the sizes of objects. If two similarly sized objects appear to be the same size in different pictures, then they're probably about the same distance away. Perspective can alter that and we'll get to that later. In the above image, the distance from the ship to the Empire State Building appears to be about the same as the distance from the oil well to the Bank Tower. It's unknown if the oil well picture is in first or third person mode. It's probably in first person since that would make the city appear larger. Anyway, here's a large size of the ship picture from the trailer - http://i.imgur.com/sRDSl.jpg Here are a couple of pictures I took from the same spot. One is in first person like the trailer and the other is in third person... Assuming the oil well picture is in third person, you'd have to add that extra distance above to the known distance from the ship to the Empire State Building to get a decent estimate of the distance in the oil well pic. Applying that to TreeFitty's map, you get the maximum estimated size here: If the oil well picture is in first person, TreeFitty's map would be significantly smaller.

If the map size is so big i hope there would be many important people. And that you could kidnap those people.

There will be a day when games get to a point where no two textures are repeated - ever. Today is not that day.

i dont care about those sort of things. for me graphics play a very small part to what makes a game great. those bushes are fine. R* should just concentrate on adding more content.

The bushes look even like they are professionally cut.

Its a open world game. Its probably gonna be the biggest open world Rockstar has ever created. Sacrifices are gonna have to be made. You are looking to much into it. The game will look amazing.

Pretty much same gameplay as before but with the actual developers commentating this time. Also show us a new feature called 'featured contracts".

i dont think there is multiple protagonists, i think that the older guy is a boss, and the hispanic guy is the protagonist.
  18. 1 point
I just want to know who the protagonist is.

I think that's a good idea cos it would make missions more realistic. I don't know if anybody's ever played Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, but that's a feature on that game and it works really well so yeah I think that would be a good aspect of the game.

    And destroy missions. Metallica reference

More seek missions would be fine with me

^^^^^ Ignorance at its finest. It would be great to be able to have stealth in the game, perform stealth kills. To be chased by the police and lose 'em around a corner, then hide in the bush leaving them confused about which direction you ran. It would also be nice to let them search for you in the area they last saw you, for 20 seconds or so, as the 'Wanted' level ticks down within that time. And if they find you, you're busted. It'll also be nice to have the Red Dead Redemption style of 'Wanted' system, that if you kill someone where there's no witnesses or managed to stop the witness from snitching, you wouldn't have to worry about being 'Wanted.'
