2 pointsEverything I thought I understood about the map has been turned on its head. In this shot you can see the desert prison, the dish array, the desert airstrip(kinda), the desert freeway, and a few of the contours visible from the cardiving scene. Sorry if this is all old news. I think this means LS is spread over the south of the map and everything else is north of there.

2 pointsI do like how they mentioned the game ran well with no lag, that was one thing I was worried about. Other than that, not much new...

1 point@datkid - San Andreas was in the ps2 (caricature era) of GTA... The citi s were so small and consisted of about 10 streets... Dan has already mentioned in interviews that there will b a few towns to explore in the map... and I bet they'll probably take up as much as half of one of the S.A. cities each anyway...

1 pointI hope the flora remains entirely unchanged, because I don't give a shit about trees.
-
1 pointdoes puzzle, reads "Two Consecutive segments cant be equal in length" mind shudders gives up im too high for this..
-
1 pointMeans the city covers more ground, but there won't be as much shit stuffed into the city as Liberty City had, and will be more spread out.
-
1 pointi think it means that the high rise tall skyscrapers are in the centre of the city, and then it has all the normal sized businesses, food places, shops, houses, apartments etc surround the centre of the city,

1 pointThey are two rocks. Well done IGN. I bet it was that prick Greg Miller who said it. I just want to slap his nerdy face everytime he talks...

1 pointI think this screenshot shows the scale of the city far better. Downtown looks much further away from this angle. The closer to the ground you are, the more accurate the city scale will seem, as it's the perspective we will be playing from most of the time. Indeed, in this image from the trailer you can also get a sense of distance from the observatory to Downtown:
-
1 pointcmon pud, you know I was aiming at all the magazines that were shown the same game, but state completely different scales... GI said the map is bigger than RDR SA and IV combined then jeuxactu came with LS alone was 4-5 times the size of IV then IGN came with the whole map is 3.5 times the size of RDR and including topography even 5 times that size now IGN comes with LS is about the size of IV... I'm totally with: uhm... no.

1 pointWhat everyone seems to be forgetting when their using these screens to guesstimate the size of Los Santos is that r/l LA goes back up and around the mountains where the Hollywood sign is, the San Fernando Valley. After all, they've only really been showing us the Downtown core and surrounding areas when there could be more to the city they've been holding back on. Just a thought.
-
1 pointhell yea especially on multiplayer. have like 10 people in the back waiting to skydive. or all on dirtbikes just riding out the back
-
1 pointHmm.. from what I'm reading it seems the attitude went from "sweet the map is gonna be huge! Can't wait!" To "look how small the city is looking like it mite suck". In my honest opinion which I'm sure none of you care about but I'm ok with that small of a city I mean its not lc and a medium sized city is fine with me so long as there's details which were already confirmed not just a bunch of huge buildings that you can do nothing with I'm sure you'll be able to go inside a lot of them and do a lot of thimgs on them so it evens out plus unlike lc its not just city theres going to be a lot out there
-
1 pointhopefully there will be a old school rap station, along with a good reggae station.

1 pointI'm putting this here....... and I guess I'll share this one too... Approximate Los Santos map: approximate map work in progress.

1 pointi believe that the map will be very large, maybe not as large as the original San Andreas as a whole but very close infact, too me LIberty City was big, yet so small at the same time, i think we may see a map that we may actully be able to get lost in lol
