If you couldn't turn that off it would be terrible, What if you had a mission on 04:00 (4 AM) in the morning! well i'd wake up at 4:00 am then...

didn't read the spoiler but, that's my biggest concern... i liked it at first, but when i made wrong turns and had to re-do the same thing again, with less supplies i started to get bored... i like the combat scenes... low on health, having to duck into cover to pull a bullet out of your arm... that shit was sweet... the wildlife out there this time should add to the experience... like i said, i will rent it and go from there... i got 1/2 off rentals for the next two weeks, got that infamous call today... i might have to finish hitman first, then try dishonored... or far cry 3... we'll see what's there next week ... Happy to report that respawning enemies at checkpoints are gone (by far the worse thing about FC2). Also, once you clear an enemy camp, the amount of bad guys around the area is drastically reduced. The camp takeover system is very similar to Just Cause 2's, actually. Adventure report: A crocodile is the only animal to kill me so far. It got me when I ran into the water to escape being shot. You can't see them until you swim straight into them. I've now been mauled/bitten by a white tiger, a mountain lion, 2 rabid dogs, 2 snakes, and a croc.

Why would you want to save a boat? All of them are the same and generic. If you ever needed to get a boat, just go and steal one. The only reason I could think of to have a save feature for boats, is if you could customize them. So sure, if you could customize the paint jobs and the body of your boat, plus maybe add a machine gun or something to the outboard, then maybe there would be a reason to have a save feature for boats. The only thing is GTA V will probably only feature car customization though. So it's probably a waste of time.

Why do you think the stories are going to be that separate? I think they are going to be more intertwined than that, and you wont be able to just focus on one at a time. They will force you to switch and play as each character. And all the stories will probably build up to a final mission where you have to use all 3 characters.

I'm personally not surprised by this, but i thought i'd show you guys anyway. This is the difference between the phrases "in-engine" and "in-game" as some people expect the game to look as pretty as the screenshots. The screenshots aren't like cgi cutscenes, they're just beauty stills which can be tweaked in photoshop and other image software. in-engine: in-game:

I want some of the worst/horrible/sick destruction possible. Torch a school bus. Or a handicap bus. Hook up a bunch of tow trucks and go plowing through the city running over people. I miss being able to use a tow truck to hook up a cop car and have them follow me on drive bys and jumps. Or hook up to the back if a cop car and have them give chase pulling the tow truck causing them to have a horrible crash. Again just lots of senseless violence. The helicopter with the magnet so I can pick up cop cars and cause mayhem. Or hook up to a train and bail out watching it get destroyed. Or pick up a boat and drag it through the city killing lots of people. I want to be able to shoot a pistol or smg from a helicopter.

zOMG me too. Do you think he's... killed himself? http://www.chess.com.../Marney-1#games Actually he lost the last three games in a row, do you think that could have pushed him over the edge? If so, me and you are to blame Q.

Far Cry 2 was crap. You couldn't do anything without being constantly ambushed, it just took forever to get anywhere. Enemies had super x-ray vision, stealth wasn't a tactic as you would have expected in a dense jungle environment. And the whole malaria thing was a pointless game mechanic too, the fact you would die without warning because you didn't press LB every so often to take your malaria pills. So no, I'm not particularly interested in FC3.

I thought it was near-perfect, to be honest. And the 'slow-as-fuck travelling in a monotonous landscape' was something I thouroughly enjoyed doing. Even more so online when you were in a posse. Nothing more badass than seeing a group of four or five cowboys approach the town on horseback. It would be awesome if R* had some sort of country/rural area in GTAV where the folk still live like they did in the good ol' days. lol It's fine when you're exploring an area for the first time but when you're on your own (I was never talking about multiplayer so I'm not sure why you switched to talking about online posses) back and forth between Blackwater, Seth's chapel and Nigel West Dickens in Gaptooth Ridge with no way of fast travelling, only to find out you're learning how to pick flowers, it's exceptionally boring. A wild western shooter shouldn't take 5 hours before you actually do some shooting. GTA V better not make the same mistake.

Yeah, body disposal should be an important part of the game, killing people without immediately building up a wanted level. Also, if you kill a lone cop without anyone else seeing it, why do you still automatically get a wanted level? They need to fix that. Someone should have to call 911 or find a cop before you get a wanted level. When someone calls the police, the search radius circle should pop up immediately, but if you leave the area before a cop shows up, you don't get the wanted level. I just want a lot more realism when dealing with the police. And of course, I'd like a little more customization. I don't want anything ridiculous like the San Andreas customization, I just want some reasonable options for my character's hair, facial hair, and tattoos, in addition to the clothing options, which I felt were reasonable in IV. I would like the next game to take place somewhere warmer though, so I'll have clothing options beyond coats and army surplus rags from Serbia.

Id like to see more interactivity with the environment / vehicles / pedestrians, i wanna be able to kill someone in a back alley and throw them in the boot of my car and go dump them off a pier or something. And as mentioned a more destructive environment would be nice
