TO ALL FUTURE NOOBS: That^ is how you should behave when you join up and decide to share your ideas. Regarding your suggestion, it's definitely a good idea, but it's also not suited for a game like GTAV. In IV, they opted to try a more realistic take on Grand Theft Auto, yet we still pulled RPGs from our stylish suit. Judging by the over-the-top action we've seen in the trailers, it appears as though they're starting to disperse the serious fog that hung over this generation's Liberty City. IMO, I don't think realism will be a prominent factor in V. Welcome to the forums, and thanks for not behaving like an ass.

I would say buy it. It was definitely my favourite game of 2012. Get it if you want an absorbing game world almost on par with an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game. Although their worlds are probably more indepth, the combat in Far Cry 3 is perfect and makes traversing the world unbelievably satisfying. Some say the Story is the games weak point, but I think if you have half a brain cell in your head you will work out the underlying themes and metaphors hidden in it's events and great characters. Ultimately if you think of yourself as a gamer, you will certainly like this game ( and even if you're more casual you should still like it ). Plus if every game released was this good, no one would ever have anything to complain about anymore, period. If only we lived in a perfect world.

Yeah, over my years on the internet I've seen quite a few crazy setups. What is that thing sticking out of the can though? I know it's a bowl, but what is it actually? Looks like a bowl off a broken pipe just epoxied to the can. It's a Popper stem half stuck in the can with a bowl screwed to it. You people need to spend a month north of the border... I lol'd

That's crazy.. I've gotten my foot run over before but it wasn't bad but I can't imagine how bad it would hurt happening to any other party of the body. And yeah that's some good advice I wish I would have taken. I'm about 5 weeks into letting my boxers fracture heal without medical attention and there's still a bone sticking up in my hand and my pinky knuckle is in a completely different spot than it used to be. Oh well, I figure it will probably wind up breaking again eventually since it didn't heal right, so next time I'll head to the ER right away The power of hindsight!

Any boat with an interior would be great. I had fun rampaging from tugboats in IV, though it wasn't very protective. Maybe something along the lines of the TBoGT yacht..? Yes, something like that indeed. Thinking in the boat category, a kayak would also be nice (and possible). There are some areas (like the river in the woods, seen on some screenshots) that would be perfect for that!

im a die hard fan of the gta series, and i love how the game plays, but ive always liked the idea of realism, and i think thats what rockstar is going for in gta v. i think that if you u want to carry around many weapons, eg, rocket launcher, ar, pistol, submachine gun, melee, grenades etc, you should some sort of special clothing or like a vest and tactical gear almost like the suit a character uses in one of the trailers to break into a high rise building. also certain weapon types should need to be carried on your back like an rpg or heavy assault weapon, multiple weapons could be carried on the back by using tactical gear like i mentioned before, if tactical gear isnt used then only one weapon can be carried on back and stow 3, like a smg, pistol, melee or grenades. would this be a good idea or would this take away the root weapon mechanics that gta is known for??? let me know

how did i not think of this? better a wood chipper you grab people and throw them in and they come out in smaller pieces, for the man who has a population crisis and now also get the haft-truck with machine gun and missile launcher for the man that has a privet army or is fighting the man.

For the lazy.

I'm not making any promises as to what i'm actually going to do when I get the game, the only certainty is that I will ejaculate on the disc, on the manual and finally on the telly after seeing the R* logo. In game I will probably take a walk around briefly to get a feel of the ambience... or maybe a bike ride. If a nice car happens to pass by I will steal it and maybe go for a cruise in whichever direction i'm pointing (not which way my penis is pointing mind you.) I'll look out for peds doing different things and see if any actions catch my eye, then i'll probably try out the new melee system on a ped that looks the most retarded on the street - the one sniffing the park bench and fondling himself. After that who knows, I may try out the character switching system and repeat the process for each protag. My first epic road trip will probably be towards the countryside and Mt. Chilliad.

Find a great motorbike and start exploring the city first, looking for weapons.
