5 points[January 30th, 2013, 10pm] Rockstar North Dev #1: Well, that's another late night wrapped up. I hate keeping the guys here so late, but it's been worth it - just two months until release! Rockstar North Dev #2: Yep, we're in the home stretch. Let's take another look at the checklist. [The two look over the checklist of features in the game] Dev #1: Got it, got it, got it... Dev #2: ... wait a minute. Dev #1: What? Dev #2: Here at the bottom of the page. It says "Page 1 of 2." Dev #1: [suddenly wearing reflective sunglasses and a state trooper hat] Mother of God. [The pair frantically rifles through several piles of paper of varying height looking for page 2. Desks and chairs are overturned, cubicles are dismantled, and computers are thrown through windows amidst the chaos] Dev #1: I found it! Dev #2: What's it say?! [Dev #1 looks at the paper, and finds only one item printed on it] Dev #1: [stunned] It says... it says... Dev #2: What? It says what? Dev #1: M-m-m... M-multiplayer. [Dev #2's jaw drops to the floor with a heavy thump] Dev #1: We forgot the multiplayer... [Dev #2 picks up his jaw] Dev #1: We forgot the fucking multiplayer! What the fuck are we going to do?! [Dev #2 forcefully slaps Dev #1] Dev #2: Pull yourself together man! Dev #1: What do we do?! [Dev #2 slaps Dev #1 again, for no apparent reason] Dev #2: Calm down. We can fix this. We can fix this... [The next morning] Dear all, Today, we have an official release date to share with you: Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on September 17, 2013. We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require. To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be. We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience. Yours, The GTA Team [Fin] ------------------------------------ Seriously though, you're reading too much into it. GTA V certainly has multiplayer, they've mentioned it a couple times. They wouldn't have bothered with crews if the feature were only going to be used for Max Payne 3. Rest assured, all is well.

4 pointsThe weather looks amazing. I never thought of it but we're actually gonna get a really rough sea during a storm
-
3 pointsI was surprised to see Trevor wearing a helmet, he seems more like a "safety last" kind of guy.
-
3 pointsIf that was the case they would have done it the day after the release date was revealed.

2 pointsFranky is once again wearing a bandana over his face while he's using a "tear shit up" type of gun. I'm starting to believe that's more than just a regular clothing accessory, but an identity hider, the way it worked for John Marston in Read Dead Redemption. So, that might hint at an 'Honor' system in GTA V, and to shake the cops faster. Which makes a lot of sense, because you can see how heavy the police presence has been in every single batch of screens they've released.

1 pointif these screens are from consoles then i wonder how many discs the 360 version will have.

1 pointThe highways don't have to actually connect two distant [large] places. They can wrap around the map and just provide a tour of the wonderful areas Rockstar went through the trouble of creating out away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
-
1 pointDoes anybody noticed that there are basically no screens that show us those other towns? There are some with rural look but they look too small to be called a town, most likely a village of some sort, all those highways and train tracks, seriously what they would be there for if not for another city ? Highways connecting small villages??...c'mon

1 pointI came to the conclusion that it is a 747 (same type seen in that screen with the fighter jet) although it has engine pods like a B-52. But I managed to find this particular 747 that bridges the gap a little.

1 pointIn the second pic, far left in the distance is the same bridge. Reason I came in here, these are almost next to each other in Boyle Heights: LA County Coroner, Boyle Heights 1141-1145 North Mission Road, Boyle Heights

1 point^ What! Really impressed by that, considering i found BF3 a huge let down. I lost faith in FPS games after Call of Duty milked it tbh, so i'm wary of them. But this does like the real deal.

1 pointQuestion, before R* released the delayed release date, would their already of been Alpha/Beta testing before hand? Just wondering all of a sudden, whether they found a major glitch in the 3 characters swap system, and the reason for the silence is because they're shitting themselves trying to fix it as quick as possible, considering it's the biggest annoucement they've made for the game to date.

1 pointI would really want to see Yusuf from TBOGT return. Funniest guy of all...
-
1 pointAnyway, this suspicious activity is leading the Batorian part of my mind to believe they've got a lil' sumfing planned.

1 pointGTA is all about the single player campaign. The multiplayer, while fun, is secondary. In my opinion one of the best things about GTA games is how when you start it up it just loads you right to your last save without having to dick around a different menus to get started. V will be no different.

1 pointOne thing i hope that they put in is a hardcore mode in multiplayer. i hope that they do it like they did in RDR like how there was no blip over your head, even when in plain sight of another player. i liked being able to blend in with the crowd without being noticed by other players, and being able to hide in the bushes without fear of a giant blip over my head telling the other players where i am. but one thing i hope that they change is when in RDR hardcore if you ran or jumped you showed up on the map, that just seemed really stupid to me. but besides that i think that hardcore mode would be awesome in gta 5.

1 pointId probably confuse her doing beat patrol for a hooker, honk at her, and when she doesn't get in my car, run her over. No place in the world for a women who wont do what I tell her to do.
-
1 pointWomen want to be treated equally in the workplace, I'm going to make it happen. One bullet at a time.

1 pointWouldn't care one way or the other. I'm going to shoot a female officer in the face just as quickly and enthusiastically as a male officer.
