realism is a good thing if it's done right in certain aspects of the game, like i want realistic physics. and the way that cops try and kill you, but i don't wanna have cops be too realistic, like enforcing traffic laws and such. and i also wan't driving to feel realistic, but i don't want it too realistic to where we have to have gas and shit. you just need a good balance between realism and fun. because if you go too real the game will be dull and feel boring after a while, but if you make it too unrealistic you end up with saints row which fucking sucks(IMO). Yeah there's a difference between realism and detail. Of course I'd like to see as much detail as reasonably possible, as it adds character to the game, but it doesn't have to be overly realistic. That being said I still tend to play IV more than TBoGT for singleplayer. After a while of rampaging in unlimted-ammo attack choppers or APCs, realism really hits the spot.

7th Ave and 11th Street. Just took a couple pics. Will add them in a sec. No need for giant pics anymore.

So this is my new Girl (I believe) Daxter, She's a Red Eyed Crocodile Skink and she's possibly the most adorable little fucker ever. Got her last week and she can't be more than 6 months old at the moment; she's only about 4 and a half inches long and fully developed they're about 8-10. She's been spending most of her time in the log , but I actually caught her out soaking in the water and burrowing the other afternoon. Seemed a little odd since they're nocturnal and supposed to be really timid creatures.

I was alright with them in GTA IV. Great activity to take your friends to, but after that, not much else. Although, one thing I did like one of the exclusive tracks played there (big Rick James fan). If it does make a return (which I'm sure it will), I hope it will be expanded up on. Obviously, ownership would be nice. Since the game will have random events/encounters, it would be nice if there were several random possibilities, specifically designed for said strip club, were on a loop: You go one time and some guy getting a private dance gets a little agressive with the dancer; do you intervene? Next time, maybe some gang runs in and tries to rob the club; will you stop them or let them proceed? Another time, maybe a dancer comes up to you and asks for you to escort her home because a creepy stalker plans to follow her home and strike. In a somewhat more complex fashion, if you go to the club within a certain time/short window (say between 02:40 and 3:10), you can meet a slick guy who has a dirty job for you that branches into a set of missions away from the club.

I don't really know too much about the metal gear universe however that guy with the bandages calls himself Ishmael, Ishmael was the narrator and protagonist in moby dick, moby dick was a sperm whale, we see a sperm whale of fire in the vids. What this means I have no idea possibly nothing but its quite the coincidence if you ask me being as the Ishmael guy seems to be the narrator of the escape etc Edit He even says "call me Ishmael" this is the opening lines of moby dick The book moby dick is all about good and bad, god and godlessness, social standing and class, ahab also lost a limb. Now from what I read is this game is about a good guy turning into a bad guy and all the decisions that go hand in hand with this transition. Again it could all be nothing but seems like too much of a coincidence. The line "call me Ishmael" the whale of fire, good and bad, the lost limb.

Interesting. Kids in the 12-14 age group call the immature ones 9 year olds the same way adults call them 12 year olds.

I imagine very few of the windows you'd pass in that mission are even interiors. Most likely they're a diorama of sorts, and can't even be accessed. The interiors will be as big as they need to be, and likely no bigger. Rockstar isn't big on wasted space. With the exception of the various shops, there weren't any interiors in IV - that I can think of - that weren't used in a mission, so if V does the same, then they'll only be big enough for what they're being used for, plus some added things to make the place appear bigger, like the 'dioramas' above. There will be other spaces (not necessarily interiors), I'm sure, like the outdoor mini-mall in San Andreas. I would like to see the end of interiors that can only be accessed in one mission, like the bank in IV, or interiors that can only be seen in a cutscene, like the prison visiting area. I should be able to go there any time I want.

I just watched the IGN analysis of the screens. This is the info they came up with: 1. You cannot swim in GTA3, Vice City or San Andreas. 2. You could not jump out of planes or helicopters without a parachute outside of missions in previous GTA's. 3. You may get struck by lightning! (As if we haven't seen lightning in other Rockstar games before...) 4. You might be able to walk around in the wilderness 5. There will be more news at E3. Something I learnt is that IGN "journalists" don't really know anything about GTA... They'd rather make stupid movie jokes than analyse the screenshots.

They should all be great but the way they described Trevor makes me want to play as him the most. A 40-year old drug addict who wears wife beaters and lives in a trailer park. His friend sounds cool too, a paranoid conspiracy nut who lives next door and is afraid of what Trevor will get him into next.

Asking people not to be racist was an invitation for it to happen jokeingly. Why would anyone have a reason to be racist on a forum thread about parkour abilities in a video game in the first place? It's not like this is a topic that would illuminate differences between those with differeing ethnic backgrounds. People are just messing around, and mostly messing with you, and personally I find it hilarious even as someone versed in social psychology who is completely against racial profileing and stereotyping. Honestly I question your motivation for putting "no racism" in your original post. It's not like the worlds full of ignorant racists you honky.

Parkour is for honkys so if the lead character is a honky it would make sense. Would be a cool feature too but if the lead is a honky im not buying the game cause i hate honkys.
