I was just thinking. If the game is set only in Los Santos, which is pretty much confirmed now. Will it be bigger than San Andreas in terms of actual map size? I realize San Andreas covered three cities and surrounding countryside, but everything was shrunk down and the cities were far smaller than any real city. GTA V clearly looks much richer in detail and bigger looking from what we have seen of it so far. But will it actually be bigger than San Andreas, or ever Red Dead?, since Rockstar have mentioned it is the largest and most ambitious game yet in their latest statement. Might as well start discussing it, but don't moan that the game is going to suck because it's not going to be San Andreas, that's not the point of this thread. Personally I hope it is bigger. What's with this whole idea that realism can't be fun? GTA IV's physics is what did it for me, and I'm %99.997 sure R* was going for a realistic physics system. Live a little.

Why does the robot have a glowing orange part? Glowing orange parts are always weak points. Might as well paint a target around it.

from a designer perspective, something was standing out to me... it's the balance of color... the flow and balance of the complimentary colors makes the presentation jump out to me (it's probably just me).. now i know why the 'chop' dog had a new BG, and the beach girl didn't have the blue pier scene from the official artwork... it's "officially" balanced ... EDIT: updated the image, left out poor franklin at the bottom...

Generally they keep it the same, as to where they put certain artworks on the front cover, a helicopter has been in the top left of every GTA cover since 3. They pretty much got the SA front cover and changed it to fit in with the story and the new details in the game. Copter top left, blonde center left, guy with face covered center top, guy on two wheels top right, new relevant transport in the center, cars down the bottom and guys holding guns. Only things different is obviously Chop, new feature, no poker chips, no Vegas, and Truth the free loving hippy has been swapped for Trevor, probably the biggest maddest badass to ever be in a GTA game. They made it so it resembles the SA front cover, and they've done a good job. I don't know why but looking a the new one, for me it makes the game look like it'll be a lot more gritty and dark, more serious than it's predeceases. I like it

Many people who know RockStar should know how much they love teasing and not tell anybody everything but just give out hershey sized kisses until you get the satisfaction of a full bar, just pay attention where that jet at the end is going, south of Vinewood. Now I know there isn't any sort of airway for a big fancy plane like that coming from the country or woods, Think more beyond north, remember the place on whatever happens there, stays there.

With the planes in there has to be at least two airports, otherwise whats the point? What I'm hoping for is a good medium-sized city on the other side of the map from Los Santos. Something like San Diego would be perfect.

Problem is, car modding isn't the major focus of GTA. That's more for full racing games. If we do see car modding again, I don't expect much more than what we had in GTA San Andreas. Some options but nothing major. Welcome to iGTA5!
