Add me to the roster; born and raised in Ohio until I made my escape to the Sunshine State. Is it bad I read this to the tune of Fresh Prince of Bel Air?

Oh god no. C'mon. I know people are into hardcore rap, death metal and all that on this forum, but there is always so much hate for pop music. I'll never understand it. It may not be your cup of tea, but it doesn't mean its not someone else's. I welcome all kinds of music. I didn't think I liked death metal until The Lost and Damned, now the stuff has grown on me. I don't listen to it regularly, but I've learned to appreciate it as a genre.

Meal weapons? Hm...It would be fun to provoke a massive food fight in a crowded area. But I can't see how nail guns would aid in accomplishing that.

I don't see the appeal in operating a container ship. Unless, of course, each container were an individual item, in which case I would run the ship aground on the most populated beach I could find, tipping it and dumping containers on the people there.

Thanks, some sites say, "NY is slightly bigger with a bigger population" and "LA is bigger than NY" and so on. I knew that LA was bigger because I come from a place in Australia which is very sprawl-like and hence compared to LA but I was surprised by what I found when I went looking for info to back it up. Apparently, for cities with a population greater than one million people, the largest cities by land area are (in order) Houston, Phoenix, LA (468 sq. miles), San Antonio, Dallas, San Diego, NYC (302 sq. miles). There's my education for the day. The thing about the LA area is that there are a lot of cities around it that are clumped in with LA but are technically their own city. So LA may be 500 sq miles but then it just melds into other big cities surrounding it. New York is very dense and doesn't sprawl out as much as LA does. I can believe Huston has a larger area because unlike LA it is the only real city in the intimidate area. All of the suburban areas around it belong to Huston while in LA most of the suburban areas are actually their own towns. My point is that So-Cal is like one big city and LA is only a part of it Yeah.... The urban area in So Cal extends from LA to San Fransisco with maybe an hour of hills in between. ....what....I hope you mean San Diego. Shit, lol thanks for correcting me. I meant SD

rockstar provide media/news/gaming websites with exclusive screenshots to release along with their articles, sometimes all the different gaming sites get different screenshots from one another. edge have released these three screenshots in their latest edition of their magazine. they aren't online in high quality. normally rockstar will do a round up of all the screenshots released by the media and provide high quality versions of them on their website
  17. 1 point
they haven't been released by rockstar, they have only been ripped from scans of an online magazine.

they are here in the forums, we don't update the main page with shit quality rips from a pdf, we will wait till the official screenshots are released.

I just immensely dislike anything Black Eyed Peas-related. Bunch of hacks. That Fergie song was only popular because it samples Sheila E's "Glamorous Life". Which Prince wrote. I don't think you understood his post. What you think is crappy other people think is great. Rockstar isn't just trying to appeal to you. If you don't like it don't listen to that station. Just be happy we got another song confirmation. Also: that song fits the slutty rich young California girl vibe perfectly, like Michaels daughter.

I say they make helmet customization (if any) part of bike customization. So, you customize a bike and helmet, and you put that helmet on whenever you get on that particular bike. Any unique bikes (from a mission or something) would have a unique helmet, any custom bikes would have whatever helmet you design, and random bikes you steal would have random helmets. Fixed Actually, no.

Why are people talking about Kendrick Lamar not being in the game because a character is called Lamar? He is in a song on the bloody Franklin trailer....... O well I have no doubts Rockstar will deliver...I just want a big mix, and judging by the Michael, Franklin and Trevor trailer, i have my wish..... Some queen (Classic) Some gangster rap ( WEST COAST BABY) and some hillbilly shit......obviously there will be more and thats how i like it, even pop songs have there place.

That would be fantastic. In regards to the clothes, I know in MP3 you could get dirt, grass, blood stains and all that, and it made me think of that.
  27. 1 point
And that's why I didn't make Michael or Trevor. Both would be easier to make in SR2, though. There's even a comb-over that looks like Trevor's hair.
  28. 1 point
Is it just me or does Franklin have dirt on his clothes? No we're not. Count how many screens and caps there are with a sanchez. Ok? 13 out of 388. Doesn't look like half the game to me. You shouldn't take things so seriously.

Oh, it was Mod Male with Shirt. Sorry, got them mixed up. The jacket has the collar up, so, whichever of those is least annoying. Here's my sad attempt at the minigun screenshot. Couldn't find a suitable building, couldn't pose shit right, etc, etc. Someone steal a real camera for me.

here's my attempt at michael... it still needs work, but like dup said, you're kind of limited... i had trouble with his lower lip and something about his face, i couldn't make it fatter or something... and there isn't a sport coat with a white shirt underneath either... you can't play 3 player co-op?

Has anyone thought about the possibility of doing heists in multiplayer? I have a feeling Rockstar has something very big planned for multiplayer, and with crews being present in this mode, I think heists would be the perfect way to use that.
  35. 1 point
If that turns out to be the case, I'm gonna have the Three Stooges all peering into Michael's bellybutton.
  36. 1 point
I agree with Marcus, Looks like Trevor's probably over-watching Michael/Franklin, in the red car, who's being pursued. One thing i noticed from this image. Just look at how huge the mountains look in perspective to the cars and road. I don't think we've seen much of scale-perspective like this so far. It really does show us how dominant the landscape is compared to the flatlands of Liberty City. Look at how small we will feel stood at the base of that mountain to the right... I love it! This screenshot reminds me of the bottom left corner of the GTA:SA map.

Fuck, I don't even know. I know nothing about cars, I'm just going by the filename. " http://www.hassinen....2dr%20Sedan.jpg " I don't know what it is either lol. I did a Google search-by-image. EDIT: 1963 Rambler Ambassador 990. What do you know we were both right

That would confirm Fitty's observation of an oil rig off of the LS coast. Regarding the GI quote he posted, it seems odd that Trevor would gasp in fear as the shark came close. Seems like Trevor would be the type to punch it in the face and force it to perform fellatio on him. Ah, well. Good to hear that the characters will react to their environment.

You mean Tupac was the Biggie Smalls of the West Coast, Biggie > Pac.
  40. 1 point
I like the way GI explained the character switch. It reminds me of the car switch in the latest Driver - Time slows down sightly whilst you switch cars and orient yourself - which looked fine in driver. So I think R* would have nailed it.

I didn't want to go through a bajillion pages so sorry if this was already noticed...but the guy trevor is going threatening with the jumper cables is the same guy michael abducts in his video. And here he is in Michael's trailer. Same hair, pants and everything

Seeing that they 'lied' about property acquisitions, maybe Packie is actually returning.

I believe that you are right about Trevor jumping from the Jeep as being part of the heist, but I don't think the picture on the board has anything to do with it. Look closely and you can see the Bug Stars logo, as well as a couple pictures of diamonds. Clearly the board is set for the jewelry store heist.
