The New England Commonwealth consisted of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Only Massachusetts is referred to as 'The Commonwealth,' I guess, but I could see parts of these other states included in the same way that Maryland and Virginia were included in 3, or California (Nipton) in New Vegas. The issue with the Legion is that they're integrating tribals, not regular wastelanders. Tribals are dumb and uncivilized, and can be easily manipulated by someone intelligent and conniving like Caesar. Their armies won't be expanding if they find themselves in a full-on war with the NCR, and there's a lot more NCR in California than the Mojave. Not to mention the Brotherhood wild card. The Legion wants the Brotherhood destroyed, but the Brotherhood and NCR are capable of working together. If the Legion encountered the Brotherhood in force, they'd be fucked. The Brotherhood is better equipped (a turret or sentrybot is worth 2 veteran legionaries), and better trained than the Legion. If they decide to work with the NCR, the Legion wouldn't have a chance at expanding west. You should head to The Vault and read up on the lore. It's really fascinating.

Well then, the next gen console war begin.... Lets do this. Saying that, i couldn't give a fuck about merging my console, TV, voice and penis into one interactive experience. They spent half the conference talking about the TV integration for fuck sake. Secondly, i'm not a fan of sport games, AT all... If you like sport, fucking play sport instead of pretending you are. Most people don't have thousands of dollars laying around to go buy a new car if one breaks. Public transportation isn't very big in the all over the US, and what you would pay for a taxi per week would be more expensive than a monthly car loan payment. Since I am marrying a European I think I will need to go with the PS4 for this reason...and the fact that the Xbox hasn't appealed to me since 2011. There isn't a single redeeming quality in the new Xbox in my eyes. I just hope the PS4 doesn't disappoint me as well.

Personal opinion man. HBO and AMC are not available out here, and half my favourite tv shows are from those two networks. Either way, I dont care about merging my TV with my console much. I watch Netflix, but that's a third party application and not integrated. When I watched that conference yesterday, all I saw was "Xbox for America" lol Nothing mad it feel like a proper console, just another way to stay connected online...

Yeah I don't understand how the Spurs aren't more popular. They've been the best team for the past 12-13 years, winning 50 games in each season except the two lockout seasons when they were on track to win 50 games anyway. I'd rather be a Spurs fan than a Knicks fan.

xbox one is made by US citizens for US citizens... half that glass shit wont work well outside of the US. US have the best premium tv shows. There's no point in getting one unless you live In the US, to get the most out of it. Most Japanese and Europeans will adopt PS4 better anyway... it's just the way of the world.

My solution is to buy a PS4.

In GTA 5, there will be some of the same shooting mechanics, and some that are different, for instance the camera of aiming a gun while driving a car in GTA 4 wasn't shaky at all, , the camera in Gta 5, the camera might be shaky all the time, because of bumps and minorities on the road surface. How would you like to see R* change/improve/keep the mechanics the same in GTA 5? Also, when getting shot in GTA 5, would you guys rather it be like GTA 4 , not realistic so as where if you get shot, you flinch hard, and lose a little health, or get rag-dolled so you kiel over and potentially fall down? I'd like it like that, getting rag-dolled around, to make it more accurate to real life... Tell me what you guys think.

The Brotherhood underestimated a group once before, and their leader died because of it. They wouldn't make the same mistake with a larger and more organized group like the Legion. And the Legion isn't getting any support from the wastelanders, because they have a tendency to pull a Nipton on any non-tribal settlements they come across, and the Brotherhood has had the support of the wastelanders as far back as the original Fallout. Fear of tech never really caught on in the Fallout universe, save some minor exceptions. There aren't many anti-tech fanatics out there.

i don't think the world will ever fill in like you're thinking craze... if it happened, it would be some 50 years into our future perhaps... and there's never been a mention of other countries except for china really, our biggest enemy... plus, this is an over the top 50's america story, putting a foreign twist on it would change the entire concept of fallout... it wouldn't feel the same at all...

i hope it can be stacked vertically... the xbox one i am not sure about, but that's what i loved about the PS3...

New Vegas takes place roughly 40 years after Fallout 2. As of New Vegas, the NCR has only been in the Mojave for three years, and their soldiers and equipment are spread thin. They're not expanding very quickly or by very much. The Brotherhood has barely spread at all, and they don't even have a real presence in the east, because the DC Brotherhood has separated from the main group entirely. Not to mention that the vast majority of the activity in the east is right along the coast. There's very little between the Mojave and the east coast. It's the same way in real life, really. Flyover country, man, nothing to see there.

the west coast and east coast fallouts are completely different worlds as far as i am concerned... and the creators treat it that way... as far apart as they are, they might as well be different countries... like massacre said, they made minor references between each, but i am sure that if they do mention anything about new vegas, it would be stuff like, "i heard some NCR group and this other band of savages called the legion were battling over the hoover dam... but who cares about affairs on the other side of the country"

The Lead Circle Design Artist was recently laid off from Rockstar due to budget cuts, so the minimap is now being designed as a square. Here's a half-hearted, tongue-in-cheek attempt at the multiplayer HUD. Ignore the Cleveland street, pretend it's L.A. Couldn't add too many names, it'd crowd the image too much. Apologies to the Xboxers that don't appear in this "screenshot".

Judging by the conference, it looks like 'Xbox One' will be primarily focused on being a multi-media device rather than a gaming platform. It took them about half an hour to get around to even talking about games, which is pretty pathetic really. They hardly changed the controller at all from the 360's design, which most Xbox Fanboys will probably like. I already didn't think much about the 360 controller, so this barely changed design didn't really impress me much. The 15 Exclusive games with 8 new IP's sounded good at first. Until I thought about it, and realised that they might not be released for months after launch ( plus most will probably be average at best ). The Voice and Hand Gesture recognition of the new Kinect looked very impractical too me. And not like a viable replacement to what a couple of button presses could also achieve. The concentration on crappy sports games like Fifa ( and all of which will be coming too PS4 as well ) wasn't very exciting. But the new IP looked alright, kind of like a cross between Max Payne and Beyond Two Souls. I also didn't like the misleading remarks Microsoft made for a lot of the games. Like they were Xbox exclusives or something. Mostly because a lot of casuals are idiots and would definitely misunderstand Microsoft's bullshit. The Windows 8-like user interface was alright, along side the easy integration and navigation of TV/ Internet and Games. I hope the PS4 has a half decent Internet Browser and Search Engine, alongside something like the PlayTV App they have for the PS3 ( only with the ability to record more than one channel to the Hard Drive ). Also Microsoft didn't say which Cable/Satellite providers would be able to integrate with the new system ( I'm very doubtful about the compatibility with providers outside of the US ). Overall I was not very impressed with the Multi-Media Hub concept over the PS4's Powerful Gaming Rig design. They only showed the Specs for a couple of seconds, and not long enough to read everything. Although it did say it would have 8 Gigs of Ram they didn't specify whether it was DDR3 or DDR5, and whether it was overclocked or not ( speed is so important when it comes to memory ). Plus they didn't even provide info on what CPU they were using. I think all of this points to Microsoft concentrating the Xbox One on being a Multi-Media Hub rather than real competition for the power the PS4 has. Meaning that almost certainly 3rd part games will be looking far better on the PS4, and that the PS4 will be the Developer's console of choice, when deciding which system to code their games for first.

In the Article they recommend reading 'Goodfellas'. Which is slightly retarded because the title of the novel, which the movie 'Goodfellas' is based on is actually called 'Wiseguy'. And is written by Nicholas Pileggi who also co-wrote the screenplay for 'Goodfellas' with Martin Scorsese. So I'm guessing that they probably didn't even read the book that they're recommending in the Article. Being that they didn't even get the title right...
