2 pointsMost of the article was stupid. The last point was "The internet cafes in GTA 5 are called Tw@." Real gem, that one. He basically took the same preview every site got and made a checklist in lieu of an actual article, then threw in some obvious shit for no discernible reason.

2 pointsI will start by pouring myself a nice glass of my finest Scotch (I might even pull out a cigar) and setting up a nice and comfortable position on the couch and making sure my wife knows that I will be unavailable for the next 12 to 24 hours. I will then look over the map and read the book (I am hoping they have the tourist guide book like they usually have). Then I will start the game. After completing the first/introductory mission I will reset the urge to go crazy and explore everything. Most likely I will stay with whatever character the first mission left me off in. I will explore the immediate area where I start, get used to the controls, get a wanted level to see how that works, take in some of the detail and probably do the first mission or two. I will then try out the transition option and knock out the first few missions for each character. This is of course assuming that the first few missions will play out the way I think they will, if they don't then I will adjust. Once I have made it through the most of the beginning missions I will start to explore more openly. My first big goal is to hit the peak of mount chiliad and try some dirt biking. I also want to check out the ocean floor. Then I will go on a big rampage and see how much damage I can cause

2 pointsI hope the classic rock station grabs that California sound, Hotel California would be a great start and there needs to be some tunes from the doors, ccr, the grateful dead, maybe even some beach boys... and on a side note it would be nice to get a few roy ayers tunes because those fit in everywhere agreed maybe even listen to the music

2 pointsThe weekend felt empty without GoT... On the other hand, I met Theon Greyjoy's actor and Tywin Lanaster's actor at collectormania.

2 pointsRussians are never happy unless they're killing something... Lol, but seriously, i wouldn't take that snippet too seriously. We've seen what the game is about in trailers and screenshots, we've been here discussing it for long enough, we know we're going to like it, even if the game was in a raw state with no post effects (basically GTA IV) I know i'd still play this shit all the way through until there was nothing left to do on it.

1 pointoh wow, i haven't posted in here in a while... i bought man on fire a while back because i figured i'd like it... it was good, and a true vintage denzel flick... it's denzel being denzel, playing a drunk like usual and having to save the day once again... but holy ripoff batman!! max payne 3 felt exactly like this movie outside of the narrative from max for everything he did... a drunk who finds himself halfway across the world hired as a bodyguard for some rich family... and shit goes south real fast and he's forced to shoot his way to the solution... mama... i don't really like horror movies because they all go for the shock and awe and the gory shit... it's usually a pretty fucking boring story filled with cheap tricks to scare the audience... this movie wasn't much different than any other PG13 horror drama... however, the origin story was a pretty cool concept... two orphans raised by a ghost mother trapped in our world doomed to repeat her days until the wrong has been righted... the opening scenes were by the far the best parts (and the reason why they became orphans)... but the rest of the movie was typical boring shit... i really don't like this genre but the origin story was one of the most original ones i've heard in a while... and guillermo del toro directing definitely added to the visual feel... i am planning on watching heat tonight ...

1 pointThe blueprint map is 21.5" x 26.75". The most likely scale seems to be 1 inch = 1/4 mile. That would make the area within the border around 30 square miles. That matches well with the SA + IV + RDR size description. More importantly, it matches the size of my estimate.

1 pointI emailed [email protected] a while back, then promptly forgot all about it... A few minutes ago I received the following: Edit: Uhh, I also entered the photo contest, so not sure which this is related to... <shrug>
-
1 pointI'd imagine that the blueprint map will show many, possibly all of, the sea/ocean wrecks, as R* said the blueprint map will show "Cryptic markings indicate locations for fast cash and other points of interest for the up-and-coming entrepreneur."
-
1 pointThat's why I'm hoping that race track that's visible on the blueprint map has some sort of gambling aspect to it. I don't care if it's dogs, horses, or even cars. I've got my fingers crossed for a horse/dog track though, I wanna walk in there as Trevor and drop 100k on the shittiest lookin dog they have.,

1 pointSo I have been thinking about weapons customization a little. I am really not sure how to put this but here it goes... Do you guys think that guns will be treated as they are in any other GTA or will they be unique items? For example: let’s say I go and buy a standard Shotgun from AmmuNation, I then modify that shotgun. Do you think that modified shotgun will be unique, and if I lose it then it is gone forever? Or will it will I just be able to pick it up again, modded and all, as if nothing happened. If the former is true then I would hope that we had some sort of weapons locker at our safe houses where we could store different weapons kind of how we store cars in garages. I am thinking we could have something like 4 or 5 different versions of the M4 saved at our safe house. We can then chose which one we want for a particular mission. If we die or are arrested we lose whatever we had on hand (kind of like the old days in GTA) but your stash would be safe. You could also stock pile extra ammo at the safe house. I think it would be fun to create an arsenal of different weapons to choose from. It would also be nice to be able to store weapons of the same class (assuming the weapon class system works the same) so you could just switch out when you wanted to.

1 pointJudging from the rest of your post, it sounds like you've got enough in you to last far past September. No need to indulge further.

1 pointJust a comparison that I found, may be useful in putting things into perspective. Some pictures of Los Santos from Grand theft auto San Andreas to give sense of scale. Even if the city of Los Santos is smaller than we expected, why worry when there is an expansive country side and towns to explore. Quality > Quantity
