3 pointsIt's not that I don't think you guys are a challenge, I like playing you all, it's just that sometimes fun is more important than winning, and if that means taking 5 minutes to find an Mr. Tastey truck for our amusement than by God let the Metal be Twisted. (See what I don did dur?) I don't know Bronson, you do die a whole lot. Maybe because of your all in style of play I just think I've got your number. I like to be smart about things and avoid the motherfucker with the RPG. *cough*bOnEs*cough*

3 pointsMy money's on Kuz over Bronson. Ole Cheezy probably thinks most of us aren't much of a challenge. He's been late to the match a few times and often goes off fucking around away from the fray anyway, so posted final results are not indicative of his skill. I got paired up with Kuz a couple of times during Mafiya Work and his driving control makes me envious. bOnEs has blown my mind with heli control, and there's no doubt Godfather will be king of kills for the iGTA crew...but we're a good bunch to play with all around regardless of who's able to join. I'm glad you guys are patient with cannon fodder like me who's barely logged any MP time, just glad I can hold my own and get a couple decent kills in. The thing I liked about Cops N Crooks is the timing runs like a mission during regular gameplay - you have to be precise or you won't win. One time bOnEs and Dupz spawned in the car with me at the wheel, but it looked to me like I was in the back seat. The interminable 5-second delay until I realized I was driving was all it took for the bad guys to get a head start - by the time I caught up to them, it was too late. One thing I did like about TBoGT match was rewards for kill assists - I don't know how many times I got bOnEs or whoever down to one health bar left just before they took me out, only for someone else to get credit for the kill.

3 pointsThat'd be fun until your itinerary gets fucked up by some distraction along the way. (Holy shit, a flashy sports car! I've never seen that model before! I have to chase that sonofabitch!)

3 pointsFYI Gunsmith. Rockstar Warehouse is located a few miles North of Cincinnati Few miles north, eh...? *strokes chin* Time to plan a heist, Gunny - if you get caught, just say you were getting into the spirit of the game...

2 pointsThat's why I'm hoping that race track that's visible on the blueprint map has some sort of gambling aspect to it. I don't care if it's dogs, horses, or even cars. I've got my fingers crossed for a horse/dog track though, I wanna walk in there as Trevor and drop 100k on the shittiest lookin dog they have.,

2 pointsSo I have been thinking about weapons customization a little. I am really not sure how to put this but here it goes... Do you guys think that guns will be treated as they are in any other GTA or will they be unique items? For example: let’s say I go and buy a standard Shotgun from AmmuNation, I then modify that shotgun. Do you think that modified shotgun will be unique, and if I lose it then it is gone forever? Or will it will I just be able to pick it up again, modded and all, as if nothing happened. If the former is true then I would hope that we had some sort of weapons locker at our safe houses where we could store different weapons kind of how we store cars in garages. I am thinking we could have something like 4 or 5 different versions of the M4 saved at our safe house. We can then chose which one we want for a particular mission. If we die or are arrested we lose whatever we had on hand (kind of like the old days in GTA) but your stash would be safe. You could also stock pile extra ammo at the safe house. I think it would be fun to create an arsenal of different weapons to choose from. It would also be nice to be able to store weapons of the same class (assuming the weapon class system works the same) so you could just switch out when you wanted to.

1 pointSeriously though, face off. Kuz if you are going to call him out and say he's an easy kill, then prove it... and if you (Bronson) say you're not an easy kill and you're better than he thinks, then prove it.
-
1 pointHe just did it to piss you off. He shouldn't have done it, and you shouldn't have taken it so personally. Lesson learned, story sucked. The End.

1 pointThat is a good question. That question could be applied to other parts of the game as well. Will weapons you pick up around the map all be stock or will some of them already have Mods? It would be sweet to climb up one of the mountains and find tricked out sniper rifle or something. I am okay with this, especially when the guns have been modded. I don’t know if they are recycling, but I think they are drawing on several key aspects of that system that seemed to work well. They also seem to be drawing from max payne 3 (in general). I think R* tends to treat every game like a test bed for future games. They take what works and toss out what didn’t. It is a good way of doing things because they are always improving. Now I am sure most developers do that to some degree, but it seems like R* is particularly good at it. Most developers also only seem to limit their improvements across individual franchises while R* will use any game it produces across any of its studios.

1 pointI got this message in a mail: A German's View on Islam - worth reading. This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist. A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.' We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers. The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.. The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'? History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun. Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. Now Islamic prayers have been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and, yes, in Ottawa too while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?) The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in. In Australia, and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft have the halal emblem, just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation’s shores. In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of “no-go” zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life. Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late. And we are silent.......

1 pointIt'll be interesting to see if police weapons (mainly rifles and SMG's) will be modded, mainly as I'd assume the police IRL would issue a rifle or SMG with a scope or laser aiming module?

1 pointThat armblade sounds intriguing, so does the tropical mod, I'll have to look up pics.. A non-stealthy Khajiit would be so counterintuitive. My own Khajiit Marra is now up to level 36 and sneak is at 95. She can basically stroll under anyone's nose, and browse through their pockets to help herself to the most delectable treats. Close to finishing Thieves' Guild quests, and starting to explore strategic use of the crazy magic spells available, as the enemies get a little more challenging. I've also stockpiled an embarrassment of inventory at Breezehome. The back of my mind has been considering how I'd like to play my next character, it's fun to ponder.
-
1 pointProbably not. They might possibly have an infinite supply right now so that everybody that wants one that can't get one can get pre-ordered. Worst case scenario is it goes on backorder and they just ship you the game and everything else out later. If you want the CE or SE and they're sold out I suggest pre-order it from the warehouse. I received my Special Edition of GTA IV on release date when UPS ran, now I was worried I wouldn't have received it on launch, I couldn't sit still from the anxiety. FYI Gunsmith. Rockstar Warehouse is located a few miles North of Cincinnati

1 pointThe DLC's made it so easy to make money with the gang and drug wars though. I know TLaD's gang wars could net you $15,000 after 70 completed and TBoGT varied. I would get anywhere from $2,500 to $14,500 for a drug war. I actually want to see an increase in how much they charge..In IV, I believe it was only 10% of what you had. I think it should go up to 20%. If the game's theme is money. Make it just as easy to lose it as to gain it.

1 pointI will start by pouring myself a nice glass of my finest Scotch (I might even pull out a cigar) and setting up a nice and comfortable position on the couch and making sure my wife knows that I will be unavailable for the next 12 to 24 hours. I will then look over the map and read the book (I am hoping they have the tourist guide book like they usually have). Then I will start the game. After completing the first/introductory mission I will reset the urge to go crazy and explore everything. Most likely I will stay with whatever character the first mission left me off in. I will explore the immediate area where I start, get used to the controls, get a wanted level to see how that works, take in some of the detail and probably do the first mission or two. I will then try out the transition option and knock out the first few missions for each character. This is of course assuming that the first few missions will play out the way I think they will, if they don't then I will adjust. Once I have made it through the most of the beginning missions I will start to explore more openly. My first big goal is to hit the peak of mount chiliad and try some dirt biking. I also want to check out the ocean floor. Then I will go on a big rampage and see how much damage I can cause

1 pointI bought a 360 because I couldn't wait a year for next-gen gaming and neither could my friends. Not because it was the only one I could afford (I'm very rich). I think your inner fanboy should take a chill pill. We're here to discuss next-generation gaming, as gamers. It's only natural that we compare the two systems, so you may continue in that regard. However, we don't need someone to convince us which one is better, we're all adults (mostly) who can make that decision for ourselves. In fact, it's quite insulting that you think we're in need of your little crusade. I like to think that most of us at iGTA (bar the GTAV board) are a little smarter than your average forum-dweller. If this continues, I suggest we have an XboxOne vs PS4 thread.
