yea, i did get to enjoy the experience, and even though my game continued to give me fits, the game itself as a whole kept pushing me forward to keep going and finish it... it was so beautifully constructed that i was willing to suffer through the pains... but after trying to suffer through them again, i reached that point where enough is enough... i might try to fire it up again soon to see if it works and i can knock out a couple more chapters, but i am officially done trophy hunting until they fix it for me... but before i go, i thought i'd share a few pics i took on my journey before i forget that i took them... -------- kind of random, but i was fiddling around in my backpack and when i came back to the action, for a split second, i thought i was playing fallout ... so many areas in this game reminded me off fallout... i should of took pics of better representations i guess, lol... note, the building is at an angle... ------ i sure hope everyone else got the memo... fuck ed, whoever you are... also, it's the little things you find all over the map, the words on the walls, the things you barely notice unless you get up close and check it out... ----- random shot of boston, the first city you're in... ---- the next two are spoiler images... look at your own risk... ------ --------- easily one of the craziest WTF moments in the lived-in world around me...

I'd imagine with the return of The Lost there'll be a mission involving Trevor chasing them down the motorway freeway on a Freeway while blasting at them freely in a free way.

immersion therapy, it could be good for you.

You probably have. The right music, car, and outfit for each mission really immerse you into the situation. It makes the game a lot more fun.

Well they said that the peds got on buses and worked so it sound like maybe they took the path of ULTRAREALISIM this time around. But what would impress me is; like you see a ped right, so you follow him to see this so called "life" they have... He comes out the doors of the IAA tower and begins walking down the sidewalk toward a car garage. He takes out his phone dials something and puts it up to his ear; "hi hon just got off of work, ah it was crazy some guy apparently was repelling down the side of the building, broke through a window, took some dude, jumped out and escaped with the other guy on a parachute! I know it's crazy right? Well do you need anything from the store? Okay I'll get em...bye!" he hangs up just as he gets into his feltzer. You grab a car just across the way and follow him in your car. He drives up infront of a grocery store and gets out. A few minutes later he comes out with a shopping cart full of bags...he pushes the cart over to his car, pops the trunk and starts loading the groceries in. After he's finished he closes the trunk and gets in. He backs up and hits the shopping cart. He gets out looks at the scratch on the back and say,"Ahhh SHIT!" he kicks the cart into the middle of the parking lot, gets back in his car and drives away. You follow him to his home in the suburbs. He backs his car into the driveway and gets out infront of a nice two story house. He walks up to the door and opens it, and you hear "OH MY GOD! Brianne BRIANNE?!!! FUCK NOOO! " then a second or two passes...POW! Dogs start barking and car alarms go off. The cops pull up and close off the scene. Later paramedics pull up and take the body on a strecher out of the house and into the ambulance. A crowd that has gathered becomes hushed as the ambulance drives off. You go home and save the game when you come back police tape is still around the house. You do a few missions and switch characters, you turn on a tv and Weasel news is on talking about a murder and suicide. Your jaw then drops.

Once you know where cougars spawn you tend to listen out for them. I even started sneaking up on them just north of MacFarlane's Ranch where the railway splits near the hill, you get them there quite often along with boars. If you're quiet they lay in the grass and you can approach them from behind and see how those fuckers like it being sneaked up on. I made a game out of it since they generally spawn in pairs, seeing how long I could last on foot against waves of them. *rambles on* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ddD9efO1Hc

sorry off topic but this picture made me think, i would like to dress Trevor as a preacher and go on a rampage through LS dual wielding the Lost sawed-off shotguns

Oh there's more where that came from. Get ready for this shiznit. *sits at desk and stares blankly into the void that is Massacre's corporeal form* Um, actually... can we reschedule?

Yeah, I hope the sawnoff from TLAD makes a return. It was pretty much overkill firing that during a car chase.

Hopefully we can Dual Wield Pistols, SMGs and Shotguns again. It would also be cool if you could fire shotguns while driving a car, or riding a bike...

I wouldn't mind being able to do smash & grabs on 24/7's as Trevor. That is definitely the white trash version of a heist.

What if it happens for 2 crews to rob the same bank at the same time?...sounds like a good mission scenario for R*

The way the articles read, it made it sound like you can hire from a long list of people, each varying in level of their respective skill set. The more you work with a certain person, the more they learn. As for killing them, I remember reading that this somehow will affect your 'reputation' and others might not want to work with you. Sounds like a tweaked and upgraded version of the RDR Fame.

That would be awesome to randomly see some fat guy floating face down in a pool...

Random peds: Making out in a nightclub or having sex in an alleyway; Fist fighting; Rioting if police control in San Andreas is questioned; Skating/BMX at the skate park; Drowning/lifesaving at the beach/pool; Engaging in organised and unorganised sporting events (wishful thinking, I know).

I'd like seeing a lady trying to pepper-spray you only to have her attempts fail and be beaten unconscious with a bat(or collectors edition hammer) and then shot multiple times.

Your president is a monkey. hey, that is very offensive to monkeys. Hey, that's very monkey to offensives. Back on topic; I want to be able to get Trevor all gothed up for a night on the town. Nothing is sexier than a goth with male pattern baldness. Serious question here, I wonder if you'll be able to put a wig on him?

What I listen to in IV depends on what I'm doing or who's with me. My passengers always listen to their preferred station. Any other game, I've just listened to whatever. In IV, I listen to Vladivostok at the start of the game, listen to Tuff Gong or Massive B while doing Jacob's missions (even if he's not in the car), Brucie can go fuck himself, so I listen to whatever, either of the two rap stations or San Juan Sounds in Bohan, The Beat once I start the Playboy X and Dwayne missions, Liberty Rock Radio when I'm doing missions for Packie, and I pretty much only listen to The Journey once I get into the ULPC and mafia missions, unless there's a mobster in the car, in which case I listen to the jazz station. In TLAD, I listen to LRR, unless there was a song I didn't feel like listening to, or I had something heavy to do, in which case I listened to LCHC. In TBOGT, I listen to a mix of The Beat, The Classics, and San Juan Sounds, with Electro-Choc thrown in when appropriate. I listen to The Studio when Tony's in the car. But, my favorite is TLAD's version of LCHC, followed by The Journey. The Journey was the perfect station to listen to while speeding through Algonquin as Niko.

Suppose some nosy-ass ped peeks in your garage and recognizes the getaway vehicle from the news?

Welcome to the Jungle is still the best song Rockstar has used for a commercial/trailer.

If the concept of dynamic pedestrians is carried that far, I'm gonna feel really bad about plowing through crowds in a pickup truck.
