Taking into account the cost of the apartment in the real estate mention ($250,000), heists will provide steady income, but you'll need to use real estate (including owned businesses) and the BAWSAQ to really get rich.

A couple of minigames I would like to see in the game: - Small time drug dealing w/ Trevor and Franklin for a little extra cash. - Fight club, but improved from TBoGT - Improved bowling game - Gambling - Real estate. Buy cheap houses, renovate them like in SR2 but more in depth, sell them for a profit. - Car shows. Customize a car to make it look really badass, enter it in a car show and possibly win money. - Not a minigame, but social media on the internet. Imagine the potential for a parody of facebook/ twitter... - Fishing - A couple smartphone game apps, parodies to like Angry Birds or Temple Run. -A video game on the TV that could be like a mini zombie game or a mini CoD that's 'online' and makes fun of the douches and kids with mics that talk during games. - Mini heists/ armed robberies to rob different businesses and stores. I know that it is unlikely that all, if any, of these get put in the game, but I personally think they are pretty good ideas.

They might of looked better in the 1st trailer cos it was in the initial stages of map making, and then realize they had to cut the quality of certain graphics to keep the game from over loading and giving lag while the map loads from one area to another?? I'm guessing, but makes sense to me. For the love of god, STOP BITCHIN ABOUT FRICKIN TREES!!!!!

I noticed in the gameplay vid that Trevor pops out of a trailer (caravan) to go hunting. Then I noticed later on that the trailer appears as a safehouse on the mini-map... Do you think that Trevor's trailer will work as a portable safehouse? Will you be able to tow it around the map and just save where ever it's parked? I turned to my girlfriend and asked her what she thought. She said "Who cares?"

So I know this site has some mixed feeling about CVG and GTA 5 O'Clock, but I thought this was worth posting. Another reason why my interest in the NBA is shrinking. It's the only pro sport where teams purposely just tank for a higher pick. Or at least it's most evident in the NBA I would be pissed if my team, on the brink of competing, just traded all their assets away to tank to get the top pick, when it's not even guaranteed that the worst will get you the top pick. Just ask the Bobcats...

This is based purely on speculation, but I have an idea about one of the Heists shown in the gameplay trailer. The one I'm referring to is in the Screenshot below ~ Notice the picture of the Boat/Ship with a red circle around it, which looks to be the target of the Heist. In the picture, the ship is docked at what looks to be one of the wharfs in a dockyard. The wharfs ( or piers ) in the screenshot look like they have red X's drawn on them. Now I don't exactly know what this could mean, but I'll hazard a guess that it could mean that the Wharfs ( Piers ) are to be destroyed with explosives. I also think that one of the options in the Heist is to sink the ship as well, and then have one ( probably only one judging by the arrows on the diagram ) of the protagonists dive down to steal the precious cargo. The evidence is in another screenshot in the same Trailer ( towards the beginning ), where there is what looks to be a sunken cargo ship next to a sunken wharf/pier with what looks to be containers and cranes in the wreckage ( the two Cranes stand out because of their yellow colour). The sunken Cargo Ship and Pier ( which I think are part of the heist in the other screen ) are in the screenshot below ~ Anyone agree/ disagree? Plus does anyone have any information about what this heist could possibly be about? Or what the target might be?

Hello everyone! first time commenter, long time reader. First I'd like to add a landmark I think has been over looked. From the new gameplay video screencaps: This is Los Angeles County Lifeguard Headquarters on Venice Beach. I couldn't find it but I believe someone posted a unofficial image of a side view a while back, I dont think much was said about it but I'll keep looking. There is also a Santa Monica HQ just south of the Pier. I'm not positive but I think you can make it out in the screenshot of the dodo flying over the beach. Also curious about this screencap: Is it just me or does this look like some sort of structure at the top of the mountain? Found a side view:

On a tangentially related topic, here's some wild, unfounded speculation... I'm thinking yesterday might have been the beginning of a weekly schedule for video releases. I wouldn't be surprised to see as many as 10 feature-specific gameplay videos (I think MP3 had around 7), each 1-2 minutes with a relatively narrow focus (i.e. "This is Chop, Franklin can order him to attack enemies" and "GTA Online is ZOMG SO AWESOME!!!1") The hype machine is reaching full throttle, and R* will want to sustain it as much as possible.

Yeah, can't beat the realism of stepping into a two-dimensional outline of a house and watching $40,000 being deducted from your bank account, while a funky beat plays from thin air.

Did anyone notice the Time Dilation/ Slow-Down when Franklin brought up the weapon wheel at 03:14 in the video. Should make changing weapons on the fly in mid-combat a little bit easier. Overall the combat looked a lot more fluid, smoothly blind firing from cover and transitioning very fast into the combat jog picking off targets along the way. Then changing weapons in the blink of an eye ( from the enemies perspective ), to continue taking out targets with a different weapon more suitable for distant targets ( going from the pistol to the carbine assault rifle ). If you couple the Weapon-Wheel Slow-Down effect, with Michaels Bullet-Time ability. Michael could almost permanently be able to slow down time and remain untouchable. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ Also wouldn't it be cool if you could influence the Stock Market. Like say going into one of the Clothing Department Stores and shooting all the customers and staff. The massacre is then on the next News Bulletin, and the Stock in the company takes a big nose dive. After which you decide to capitalize on the misfortune by buying as much stock in the company as you can afford. Then you go back to the store a week later and buy a ton of hats, shirts, pants, watches and chains, worth thousands of dollars to boost the company's share price back up. And once the shares have more then doubled their original price, you sell all your stock in the company, and double or perhaps even triple your money...

There hasn't been any mention, implication, indication, or anything at all suggesting that GTA V will be on next gen consoles. Don't get your hopes up.

Once you know where cougars spawn you tend to listen out for them. I even started sneaking up on them just north of MacFarlane's Ranch where the railway splits near the hill, you get them there quite often along with boars. If you're quiet they lay in the grass and you can approach them from behind and see how those fuckers like it being sneaked up on.
