I can't understand that -- the people that get so frustrated when you use a rifle at long range annoy me terribly. "Oh, hard-scope some more, tryhard!" It would almost be worth plugging my microphone in to reply and educate them as to a rifle's purpose. Maybe not in so many words, of course, and maybe with a bit more vulgarity and aggressiveness than is necessary, but it might be worth it.

I find that, strangely, when i'm using a sniper rifle and people say i'm camping, dah fuck you want me to do with one, run around and try killing some one at close range. What irritates me is as soon as you've had a half decent game, you get some kid wanting to add you as a friend, or wanting you to join their party. How bout. . . . . No.

I occasionally do, though not on your platform. It's great fun to await the violent, racist, homophobic, and often indecipherable hatemail messages that result from using the Javelin.

It's not wrong at all. I was actually pulling the piss out of white guys being wannabe gangsters. You're right though, Franklin does have that look about him and it's clearly an influence on his life whether he's an active part of it or not. I'm actually looking forward to running through gang territory as Trevor with a "take them all out" attitude.

If it weren't going to get the game banned anywhere it'd be cool to take LSD and jump off the mountain just to see what weird shit the characters would see on the way down.

You've just given me the idea of loading up a car trailer and blowing it up so you can watch cars fly in all directions. Or driving it to the top of the mountain, jumping out and watching the trailer with cars go over the edge.

I don't see why not though. A horse is a horse, a coyote is a coyote. I personally wouldn't care if they were ported over from RDR if it gave the dev team more time to work on other things.

It's pretty safe to assume that they did it because the countryside or boring as shit, no matter where you are. If they didn't take some liberties and put more unique things in the countryside, the area wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

Okay, I'm convinced Rockstar has either accidentally used structures [far] outside of Southern California or they are really stretching their "reimagination" of it. First is the rail bridge. Since the first screenshot of it the only match I found was one in Canada - a very good match. I had searched Google 10 different ways for a rail bridge in Southern California and it actually popped up in the image results for "truss arch rail bridge california". The real bridge is Stoney Creek Bridge in British Columbia: Now here's what I was looking at just now. In this next screencap you can see a motel in the background (individual yellow boxes with the letters and some signage under it including a red arrow). Searching Google for "route 66 motel california" brings up an image of an almost exact motel sign for Glancy Motel which is on historic Route 66. The problem is that it's in Oklahoma. There have been a few others that I can't think of off-hand where a similar structure was a little far from Southern California. /rant

Here's hoping the Australian voice actors are something like this.

I hope that there are Special Cars and Motorbikes hidden around the map, waiting for you to stumble upon them and take them for a spin. Like a Super Car hidden in a garage in some expensive Mansion, or a Custom Motorbike hidden in a cave with a hidden entrance ( overgrown with bushes/ vines ), a Submarine attached with weapons hidden in an underwater cave, etc.

Of course it's just a cabin, I just tried to make up something ridiculous and entertaining. Use my imagination a bit... Fuck...

Random peds: Making out in a nightclub or having sex in an alleyway; Fist fighting; Rioting if police control in San Andreas is questioned; Skating/BMX at the skate park; Drowning/lifesaving at the beach/pool; Engaging in organised and unorganised sporting events (wishful thinking, I know).

I don't understand at all. I'm curious as to where the artillery superiority debate came from in the first place. One minute, I'm discussing the probability of a German tank showing up in a fictionalized So Cal, next minute, the quality of my country's armored cavalry is being questioned. I don't get it.

Hey guys, new to the forum!.. But as what other people have said, things like wheels detaching after a high speed collision or even getting punctures as a result of a crash would be pretty cool. More bits flying off cars would keep me happy, such as bumpers, mirrors, even the exhaust dropping off being dragged behind the car would be good! Another idea is that if the car is crashed in a certain way, say after a high jump or something the exhaust rips off and the car sound changes slightly!

The one thing that drove me nuts in GTA IV was that, in a frontal crash, the hood stayed flat and changed shape/got smaller rather than bending upwards like in real life. I made an awesome diagram to show you what I mean (the hood is in red): This^ along with other details like wing mirrors coming off, wheels coming off, and better deformations would definately make me happy. Of course if they ever used something like CryEngine, it would be the best thing ever IMO. Edit: Couldn't get the diagram to work. You get the idea though.
