I had the same problem the other day - I just checked my recent downloads and found the culprit, CouponDropDown, which had attached itself to something called Web Assistant by Incredibar. I uninstalled it through the Manage Add-ons option on IE. I have no idea where that shit came from either - probably my son looking at porn...

Patti Smith - and indeed, all punk other than the Ramones - eluded me in my younger years. I didn't hear any of it until my late teens. Manson, however, I first heard at the age of 9, and started listening properly at 13. Because of this, and myriad other factors, I am obviously biased, except in the case of original songs that are almost indisputably better than Manson's cover (Personal Jesus). Punk, even what is produced by those near and dear to my heart (Iggy Pop, Black Flag) tends to blend together and become background noise if I listen to it for too long, and this has created a bias against it when compared to other styles. So, that's what happened there. I still prefer Manson's version, but I imagine most wouldn't.

With Grand Theft Auto Online information looming, I'm pretty excited to hear what all the hype and secrecy is about... Can we expect a fully functioning world where you role play as your character within the crew, protect your assets from rival gangs, spend your hard earn't money on safehouses, businesses and other useful investments? Will it be a long term experience that we can expect to be playing for a long time after GTA V has had its run? Hell, we still play GTA IV multiplayer years down the line, and that was essentially basic GTA gameplay! GTA is still a unique style of game that no-one else has managed to successfully replicate. So why should GTAO be any different? For GTAO to be a success, it just needs to stick to the drawing board, and be what GTA has always been about. Stealing, racing, dealing, killing, and gang rivalry... Will there be ranks or ladders to climb in crews on GTAO? Showing exceptional skills, or cold killing techniques, will there be an experience system which can help gain respectable positions within your crew? Crews are clearly an important aspect for GTA V, and i really think that it was originally designed for GTA, and not Max Payne. Max Payne 3 just happened to be the experimental budgey (imo) between GTA releases. Will you be able to build some sort of empire, or crew presence withint the world of GTAO, not just on the stat screens? I didn't even get started on customization....There's so many questions to be answered, with such a small amount of time until release. I kind of want them to leave it til last minute to unveil it properly. Just as long as the hype is worth while.

It has been pointed out that that bike is from The Lost and Damned, and already has those decals. It's extremely likely that you can apply decals to your vehicles (with all the customization we've seen, why wouldn't we be able to?), but those decals in particular are part of the bike's design.

Dunno if its been pointed out, or if its worth pointing out. Franklin on the bike, I'm guessing we can now add decals to cars and bikes at Los Santo's Customs?

Massacre, I'm sorry to have dug up what is almost a year old post to start a fight over but, Patti Smith's "Rock'n'Roll honky" is superior to Marilyn Manson's "Rock & Roll honky." Though Manson's is a damn fine effort, I'd argue his finest, and a sped up tempo does the song justice, Patti does it right. I first heard the song in question while listening to the Natural Born Killers soundtrack, as a 13 y/o sitting in my dorm room, my first year at boarding school. I heard a woman's voice spouting poetry I couldn't understand. It was sexy. The guitar riff made my spine tingle. I couldn't tell if the first singer was a man or a woman. Having honky yelled at me over and over again for the first time in my life froze me solid. The music started to make the whole experience rather trippy. After the song was over, I had to turn off my stereo. My mind was blown. I really liked that song. But it had that word honky in it, a lot. Did that make me racist? Was the song racist? Was the song writer a racist? These were all questions I thought over constantly that year. It wasn't a topic others liked to join me in, so I meditated on it, and gained some perspective about a word grown men and women call the n-word. Manson's version could never take me to those places.
