4 points"Remember that the three characters in the game are already living in the city of Los Santos and surrounding areas. They are not newcomers like Niko and Tommy Vercetti or people returning after a long absence as CJ," he continued. "They already have contacts, they are integrated and lead a busy life. Just these characterstics should give players a sense of immediate and total immersion." http://www.gtaforums.com/

3 pointsIt is true that they have been living in SA for a while, but Micheal's bank robbing days were years earlier. I am thinking that what ever happened to him that landed him witness protection was at least 10 years prior or even 20 if you assume he had his kids after he got out of the business. It also makes sense that his deal with the FIB would mean a relocation and the first trailer basically outright says that he moved out to SA after "retiring". So the game could start us out in the 90's in LC or VC when Micheal and Trevor are pulling off a heist. something goes wrong, someone gets killed, Micheal gets caught by the FIB and makes a deal with them. Bam its years later in SA, Micheal is trying to enjoy his retirement, Trevor followed Mike out to SA but they are keeping their distance from each other (this is plenty of time for them to build connections). Seeing Franklin in action is what sets Micheal off, Franklin reminds him of himself when he was young. At first he is going to offer to help Franklin out, give him same advice on how to be successful in the game. what ever happens they are going to have to work together long enough for Franklin to prove his skills to Micheal enough for Micheal to want him as a heist partner. So after getting a taste of the old life he decides to try a couple bigger jobs and he goes to talk to Trevor about getting back into the game. eventually they start the smaller heist but it wont take long for the FIB to get wind of whats going on. Luckily R*'s government agents are always corrupt and they are willing to let Micheal work in exchange for some favors. Each character will have its own antagonist i think. Trevor's will be someone in the Lost. Francklin's will likely be related to the gang and I think it could even be someone from his own gang. I actually think Micheal's will be related to whoever he sold out to get the deal with the FIB (Mob boss??).I also believe someone at the FIB will be the main antagonist for the entire game. This guy/gal is going to string all three of them along asking for more and more after each major heist. Eventually they are going to have to make a decision to ki

2 pointsBut, touching on Bronson's unintentional point, as Franklin is trying to give up gang life, issues with the leader of his own gang would be more likely and more interesting than issues with the leader of a rival gang.

2 pointsAre you planning on bumping a lot of inactive topics and telling people to stop arguing when there is no argument?

2 pointsI take solace in the fact that parts of that beard will forever be weaved into the fibers of the Vault 101 hoodie.

1 pointI'm hoping there's a functional movie studio with some RVs and and maybe a couple of giant sets. There was a studio in SA and although there wasn't much there, it just felt pretty cool. Could steal some awesome outfits and maybe even the much sought after double edged battleaxe.

1 pointBones, make a night version of it for a dark theme, also, if it was 150px wider, it would be great

1 point...how good of a friend? I'm not sure how to explain it. A "lend him your copy of fallout 3 and share with him your last blunt" kind of friend.

1 pointRegarding different grenade types: the "smart" plans, typically involving lots of expensive planning and preparation, could plausibly be simplified with two simple grenades. A flashbang followed by a smoke grenade. Toss them in in that order, go in, grab the take, and walk out. You wouldn't even need to spend money on concealing your face.
-
1 pointI don't see why having different grenade types(flashbang, smoke, etc.) is far fetched in a game focusing so strongly on heists. The rifles you mentioned, including the AK, are all fine weapons. I'll take the 7.62 round any day.

1 pointHopefully there is a Real Estate Business that you can buy. And to increase your daily income from the business you have to do missions where you evict squatters from the properties in the Hood areas of Los Santos. The squatters in these run-down Projects are usually armed to the teeth with AK47's, Mac 10's and have explosives and other automatic weapons ( these guys are usually Drug Dealers and/or Gang Bangers ). So after you have cleaned out the House/Building of it's pest infestation, you have the option to leave it the way it is ( Dilapidated and Run-Down ), or you can renovate the property to boost the price of other properties in the area and increase the amount of rental income you receive from it. ( I was going to put a scene from "The Sopranos" where Tony pays a Black Community Leader to pay some local gangbangers to evict some crackheads/ and I couldn't find it /........... but if you know what I'm talking about you should understand ). Maybe you could also take over Businesses from Criminal Organisations ( like Drug Cartels, the Russian/ Italian Mafia or Triads ) which act as fronts for Illegal Rackets ( like Drug Manufacturing & Distribution/ Prostitution/ Gambling/ Protection etc ). These missions are much more dangerous due to the enemies having better equipment ( like Body Armour/ and Better Weapons ), and being generally smarter and more organised than street level gangsters. But once these businesses are taken you can then start investing money into making the rackets more efficient, and increase their protection ( by hiring armed guards/ installing surveillance/ and adding walls with razor wire to better secure the Rackets compound ), this then helps defend against rival gangs trying to take it over. Also each of the rackets has a different type of mission involved with helping increase it's daily income. For the Drug one you have to escort your shipments into Los Santos ( by plane/ and then by van or car ), evading rival gangs and/or the police. Other missions for the Drug Racket involve taking out rival operations, stealing rivals drug shipments ( and eliminating it's escort ). For the Prostitution Racket you have missions involving eliminating rival Pimps, and recruiting strippers/ other prostitutes to your racket ( by a coercion/ charm mini-game..... or you could just knock them out and kidnap them ). The Gambling Racket involves taking down rival establishments, and match fixing local Football/ Baseball games ( for instance breaking a star quarter back's legs to influence the outcome of a match ). Lastly the Protection Racket would involve strong arming local business owners into paying you money ( by beating them/ smashing up their store ), and taking down rival rackets through Assassinations of their leaders or elimination of most of the soldiers and captains within their organisation.

1 pointThe option to not be a criminal. You want a car, earn the cash............don't have any ideas on how to earn this cash though without spending 14 years behind the counter at Burger Shot.
