Map update. I've made some adjustments to the level of terrain, added some slight mountain detail, changed the shape of the Alamo sea, added colour, and added a couple of landmarks to put the scale into perspective.

He may have. You see, back in the Old Country, it has long been a tradition for a man to call his cousin and ask him to go bowling with him. It brings great shame on your family to refuse this offer of bowling, but if you accept and then call right back and say you can't go, then it's fine. This has been going on for as long as telephones have been available in Eastern Europe.

i never played just cause 2 but we could go under water in san andreas, i never did unless part of a mission so i see no reason this won't end the same way, resuilt being i don't include the underwater parts of them game in map size, same way i don't include interiors as part of map size either. i get much more fun from flying planes, helicopters and driving cars and truck than i do swimming in these types of games. Well the difference this time is there's something down there worth looking at. In San Andreas there was a whole lot of nothing underwater...while this time here's lost of things to see!

Meh I couldn't care less tbh. I've only done this for myself and the igta community. I'm not gonna take credit either, since Fitty has put as much effort into this thread as I have, not to mention other contributors over the past year or so. It's all shared community knowledge.

The locations of Mulholland & Pacoima Dams ( Mulholland is labelled "A" & Pacoima "B" ) ~ Mulholland Dam ( & Hollywood Reservoir ) ~ Pacoima Dam ( & Pacoima Reservoir ) ( In GTA V it's called "Land Act Dam" as seen in the Screen below ) ~ So I guess I was wrong. It looks like there will be two Dams in GTA V.

i'm almost sure i remember an interview with one of the R* ppl, that the typical map will still be included. i went lookin just now....i dunno where the fuck it was tho. i expect it will be the normal fold out map poster then include with all the gta games since gta 3. however i belive what dupz0r is refering to is the ingame map won't be visable right away in the same idea as gta sa map was faded on san fierro and las venturas until you had been to that general area.

there are sunken ships and a 12 story building that's under water as well. I was looking closer and that pic with the sub it looks like it could be a oil rig maybe. But besides that there will be treasure that u can find as we'll as other npc's will be searching for too. And don't forget, it was mentioned that there would be other useful things besides monetary rewards with the mentioning of owning car, and if you leave them or destroy them you can pay a fee to get them back i would assume cars, planes, helis, boats, clothes etc could all be used aswell, that could be interesting

Wow. The night shot behind the Vinewood sign looking down onto the city is awesome Edit: Finished reading the article just now, and even though it did spoil a few things, I don't care. This game looks to be the best GTA ever and put San Andreas to shame.

Newswire update, 2013-09-03 Rockstar and West Coast Customs Present the 2013 GTAV Bravado Banshee Ever since , the Bravado Banshee has been a symbol of the ultimate American sports car. With its aggressive, oversized styling and powerful engine, it became a mainstay as one of the most sought after high-performance rides from coast to coast - from Liberty City all the way to Los Santos...Significant work went into creating this real world version of the 2013 model featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Utilizing state-of-the-art fabrication technologies, molds for the exterior were cut and machined piece-by-piece for the high performance base vehicle. With these molds each panel was laid out by hand to create an entirely new exterior resulting in a screen accurate reproduction of the Banshee. The in-game version of the Banshee featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Referencing the model and textures of the in-game car, the interior was handcrafted and stitched to capture the look and feel of its detailed cockpit, with seats upholstered and embroidered with the Banshee name and insignia. The dashboard, door panels and center console were reconfigured and finished with carbon inlays. And finally, a multi-speaker premium sound system was installed before giving it the iconic metallic blue exterior complete with ice white racing stripe. The result is a one-of-kind supercar worthy of representing the Banshee's heritage and a tribute to some of the deep customization options you'll find in the Los Santos Customs shops of GTA V, where you can equip and style your vehicles with a wide range of visual and performance-based enhancements. This month, GameStop is offering the chance to win this one-of-a-kind vehicle as part of the PowerUp Rewards™ Epic Rewards Giveaway™. Check out a sampling of interior and exterior images below.

Yes of course we have! On the official websites of all the main GTA games starting from GTA III. GTA III has a map. GTA Vice City has a map. Click the bulletin board and then click the map pinned to it. GTA San Andreas has a map. Click any of the three sections and get the full street map of that section. GTA IV has a map, but sadly it's just the outline of the game's map which, to be fair, we have from the achievement icons.

I was thinking another way to go back to a single character was to have a choice of three stories, all intertwined. It would be like having GTA IV, TLAD and TBOGT as separate stories in one game with only one protag but you get to choose who you work with. Certain missions would be the same regardless (think the Diamond exchange) but you'd have the ability to play as both sides through separate playthroughs. Initially you'd have a choice of who you'd work with/for and though there'd have to be a way to try and steer the protag down one path (earn trust to open missions?) rather than being able to play three different stories at once. But that's for another game...

I find it strange that I haven't played this game, yet I already wonder if GTA will ever be the same with just one lead character.. I don't' mean to get ahead of myself, it's just that I'm really curious to see what's up R*s sleeve for the next few titles..

You were hoping for songs in the game??!! That'd be close to hours worth of music! Yes, that is a bit optimistic... Okay, so Rockstar has officially stated in interviews that there are over 240 radio tracks in the game, and we know that doesn't include talk radio. That's nearly a hundred more than San Andreas, and let's not forget the 20 hours of ambient score we'll be treated to outside our vehicles... Also, for a nice little comparison to Saints Row: Two Saints Row titles have been developed in the time that it's taken V to be completed, and if you add both SR3 and SR4's soundtracks together, you almost get as many tracks as GTA V... (247 to be exact)

Nah man haha I also thought this. But no, those two are the same dams. Or at least thats what I heard! But I kinda hope now thats theres two.. the more structures the better! That same dam is in the gameplay trailer when the Private Jet flies over it. You mean you're telling me Rockstar changed the complete layout of that dam that close to launch? No they didn't. There's definitely 2 dams. from what i can find la only has 1 dam the pic i left is likely based on this real life dam as the one in la is called Mulholland Dam and is located in hollywood, it has hollywood Reservoir behind it (also known as lake hollywood) Los Angeles County has at least 116 dams.

I don't think that any one of the protagonists will betray the other two. Because... 1) It's way too obvious ( and Rockstar probably has something better up their sleeves )............. And 2) It will fuck up the main "game mechanic" of switching between the 3 characters at will ( if one is locked out ). BUT.... If one of the protagonists does betray the other two, it would be interesting if you could still play the game from the double-crossers point of view. I.E. being able to switch to them during Free-Roam or during a Non-Heist Mission so you can mess around with the other two characters. ( I don't know how it would work gameplay-wise, but it sounds good )

I usually hate creating characters in video games. In Fallout/SR, I usually just pick a default/randomized character and go about the game. But, considering that my appearance will likely affect how people react when I kill them, I just may have to go all-out with the customization for GTAO. I'd enjoy hearing something like this over the mic: "Oh, dear God...I got killed by a guy wearing a Founding Fathers wig, a pair of cutoff shorts, and a sombrero? Why me?"
