Map update. - Added more of the roads, thinned highways, due to scale deception. Changed train track colour so you can see the difference between rail & road.Tweaked the terrain some more. The IGN Reviewers haven't really gotten into the meat of the game yet. The final review will be a lot better once they've had a proper un-restricted playthrough of the game. Once they have explored the world, used the new game mechanics, played the side missions and activities, driven more of the cars/ helicopters/ planes and submarines ( and upgraded them ), bought some properties and businesses, invested in stock, gotten more weapons ( and customized them to suit their personal playstyle ), gotten haircuts and tattoos, bought more clothes, watched TV, had a look at the in-game Internet, listened to the Radio, listened to the new Ambient Score during fights with the cops/ gangs ( or when hunting in Blaine County's Wilderness ), participated in illegal street races, off-road ATV/ Motocross races, Speed Boat/ Jet-Ski Races, Ran/ Swam and Cycled in Triathlons, done some Most Wanted missions, and Assassination Missions, explored the shipwrecks and coral reefs under the sea ( avoiding sharks ), taken a Katana to a Bear, Sky-Dived out of Helicopters and Planes, Base-Jumped off of buildings, bridges and cliffs, played Tennis and Golf ( plus there are probably more sports like B-Ball ). As well as many other things we don't even know about yet. And at the end of the Review they will declare that GTA V is not only the best game this year, but THE BEST GAME EVER!!!

That seems excessive. In the unlikely event there are any more gangs than what we already know about, it would probably be a Triad, Yakuza, or possibly Russian Mafia group (the professionals, the ones who are worth acknowledging) for Michael to deal with, and even that isn't very likely. Outside of Franklin's individual missions, I doubt gangs will be even remotely important in Los Santos, just like they're not important in Los Angeles.

I've been a member for awhile and I guess now is a good time as any to make my first post, especially if it means I can win something. I've been following this site since the announcement of GTA V and I got to say that this site has been my best source. I come here everyday for news, thank you guys for making the wait for this game that much better!

Another update on the map -I spent some time sculpting detail into the mountains, and added a couple of bridges up in Blaine county. Hopefully doing the scale of the map justice, as I've still seen many people say the map looks small, when it's clearly massive. And If anyone is having trouble viewing the 3D model in their browser, here's a back up:

My Khajiit Marra (Level 46, Sneak 100, Archery 90, plus elevated Smithing, Pickpocket, Lockpicking, Destruction, Enchanting, and Alchemy) has joined the Dark Brotherhood. I'm going to do my best to complete that set of missions before GTAV releases. Wish me luck, it's too easy to get distracted in there.

I'm surprised to see so many negative comments on the show and the last season's finale.. But that's probably because I'm a huge fan-boy of anything Walking Dead-related (except for that Survival Instict garbage, that was the most horrible thing ever). I've read all the comics and to be honest, I'm happy they took a 'total 180' like Cyantist said for the TV series. If everything that happens on the show completely follows the comic books, watching TWD would be a whole lot less exciting for me. There'd be no shocking deaths of main/supporting characters (which is one of the main reasons why I love the show so much), there'd be no cliffhangers, no nothing. So yeah, it's great to see that the writers are getting their inspiration from the comics in terms of character development and main storyline, but I'm glad they make their own twists and turns so to speak. I can't wait to watch Season 4 when it comes out, it's right up there on the list of things I'm excited for, next to GTA V. Also can't wait for Negan (and Lucille) and his Saviors from the comics to be added to the TV series, if it ever happens. That'd be awesome and it could take the intensity of the show to a whole new level. *fanboy-mode off*

Well those 4 are confirmed. I would also think "Varrio Los Aztecas or VLA" will be back in the game. Possibly maybe one more Black and Latino gang too. Also would like to see 2 Asian street gangs, like possibly based on "Tiny Raskal Gang or TRG" and "Asian Boyz or ABZ" . Also I would think the Angels of Death MC are in it too. An also the Armenian Mafia, Chinese Triads, Russian Mafia, and a small La Cosa Nostra Outfit or Family seeing how in Real life Los Angeles there is an Mafia Family operating with huge ties to the Chicago Outfit.

Meh I couldn't care less tbh. I've only done this for myself and the igta community. I'm not gonna take credit either, since Fitty has put as much effort into this thread as I have, not to mention other contributors over the past year or so. It's all shared community knowledge.

Trailer one for me. The Faces' song really tied it together -- it had the summery vibe that is the essence of So-Cal. Those opening modulated piano chords set to the backdrop of the LS skyline at twilight was incredible. Michael's infamous soliloquy over those chords will always bring back the initial feelings of hype and awe that we all felt. The sequence of events building up to the song's climax was so well-coordinated, too. God, what an incredible trailer. To think that it was almost two years ago...

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini This is an amazing book and a must read. At one point I wanted to put the book down simply out of fear of what Hosseini would tell me. A very emotional book. Not surprised that it is considered one of the books of the decade.

first thing i'll do is start with the first few missions, to get a feel for the game and some of the new features. then i'll go out and explore for a bit. wait... has someone already posted something similar? oh, man. i know i'm going to be so excited, i'll just start running around the neighborhood, breaking everything i see. knocking down every pedestrian in my way, and kicking every cop in the nuts! then i'll come back home and start playing gta 5.
