8 pointsTL:DR - Customization includes choosing mom, dad, and grandparents - You can choose your characters lifestyle which affects your skills - You can choose gestures (like flipping dual birds) - You can take selfies - During robberies clerks may be armed - When accepting an invite you are seamlessly warped there (in this case the starting line of a race) with no lobby wait - Can choose specific roles in missions (sniper, lookout, crew leader, transporter, etc…) - During missions teams have a set amount of lives - Passive mode deactivated if you shoot - You can place bounties - When at your apartment you can do many activities such as having friends over, calling strippers, getting drunk, etc - If other players in game are in a police chase you can watch it on weasel news, or even see it from your window - You have to unlock content creator - Created content can be ranked

5 pointsThis has me even more excited, so much to look forward to after we've completed GTA V. Also, regarding GTAO expansion, I'm guessing GTA IV's Liberty City is going to be first in line for GTAO DLC, as it's practically ready to be implemented, Unless they've got secret plans to add older maps. I wonder how it'll work. Will it be a simple go to airport and catch a flight there (to a separate sandbox) , or an open world where you can physically fly there? However they do it, i'm looking forward to the future of GTAO!

4 pointsGreat Job Fitty. I think you got more accurate shape details than mine. All round, pretty close as expected, i never doubted the size of the map. Constructing the map made the wait a whole lot more bearable for me too. Something to spend an hour or so on each night. Mission two. Construct the seabed in 3D! xD nah, i'm glad it's finally come to an end, so i can actually play the fucker. It's crazy how much i'll know about the map going into it before I've even played it. I be like 'oh yeah that's there, as i recall...' lol Oh, and does this help people understand the scale a little better? /edit -typing on smartphones sucks!

2 pointsI was just thinking. If the game is set only in Los Santos, which is pretty much confirmed now. Will it be bigger than San Andreas in terms of actual map size? I realize San Andreas covered three cities and surrounding countryside, but everything was shrunk down and the cities were far smaller than any real city. GTA V clearly looks much richer in detail and bigger looking from what we have seen of it so far. But will it actually be bigger than San Andreas, or ever Red Dead?, since Rockstar have mentioned it is the largest and most ambitious game yet in their latest statement. Might as well start discussing it, but don't moan that the game is going to suck because it's not going to be San Andreas, that's not the point of this thread. Personally I hope it is bigger. And i hope to see loads of small country towns sprawled out over the countrysides, full of interesting characters to do side missions for and what not. /edit Here is some of the hard work put in by members on this forum: 'Fitty's Map (Final): DuPz' map (Final): Banana Pudding's map: Los Santos Blueprints: Image from an achievement/trophy icon: Brady Games Map:

2 pointsOH MY GOD!!!! do you know what this means???? Well this is awkward.. So i've been reading on the Reddit of GTA V and I found this VERY interesting post. Basically, this guy VERY accurately measured the maps of RDR, GTA SA, and GTA IV. He Concluded by saying that GTA SA is the largest of the three. Yes, its a fact. He then did a whole bunch of math which wouldn't really interest you but he did all this math using percentages along with the measurements of km I believe and then finally converting it to miles and he did ALL of this just to get an accurate reading of what a mile would be in GTA V's map. So then he posted this. Which is accurately showing how big the map is. How SA is compared to GTA V's map. Just note AGAIN that SA is the largest of all three of the maps i've mentioned. http://i3.minus.com/ibxSxKT9m7OCdE.png EDIT: Here is the map compared with all 3 of the maps.. oh.. my.. god.. this map is indeed going to be huge. http://i4.minus.com/ibn8B5Vpb26ws6.png I, dont know about that... I mean I know the map is huge and I have no worries about it, but that comparison looks a little funky to me.

2 pointsWow, that map is crazy. I'll be honest. I bought and beat RDR about a week ago, and no joke, the map was big enough to really irriate me at times even with the taxi service it had but it was awesome have such an expansive landscape. Seeing this map from GTAV, my brain might just give up on me and go home.
-
2 pointsSo i think i'm gonna call it a day with this map, seeing as the game is out in 7 days, and we'll have the real map then, there'll be no use for this one. Fan Map Complete. (As complete as i can get it)
-
1 pointApparently scaled using the measurement bars & units converted into pixels in 3DSMAX. Not 100% accurate as the screenshot is not digital and the page isn't 100% flat. Still not convinced that Vice City is taller than GTA IV... Wat u fink?

1 pointYeah in a year or so LC would definitely feel fresh again, and you're right, with the improvements to the engine(weather system etc.) and new locations it would be amazing. Las Venturas would add so much to the heist system, you could basically rob the whole city.lol
-
1 point@Nathan. Great idea. @SpittyTheDude. It could be a nice change of scenery, when we eventually get sick of GTA V's map ( in 1-2 years time ). All of a sudden dark and rainy Liberty City will be the one feeling fresh. Plus the new weather system will make LC feel more atmospheric. But I agree, Las Venturas would be great as well...................*imagines the great heists that could be pulled in the massive casinos*...
-
1 pointI wouldn't mind Liberty and I could even see them using the same map as well as having room for adding on new content as GtaO does take place 5 years after Gta4, definitely enough time for the gun law (Ammunation) to change and more buildings to have been built. If they did add Liberty I hope they acknowledge Gta4 just because I like how R* acknowledges their own games in that universe. Or have the Five GTA Mafia Families have compounds that you can assault as a crew. Love this idea, or maybe you could do dirty work for each family and gain a unique bonus. The Gambettis might provide bodyguards or the Ancelottis might offer discount cars?

1 pointLiberty City as DLC for GTA5O? Going from the sunny LS back to the grey and depressing LC, no way man. Jokes aside I would rather have Las Venturas or something fresh, they can always bring LC back when they ran out of ideas and milk the cow.

1 pointin the bottom left of the pic there is a circle it is blue and says pc what dose it mean. PS i totally agree with who ever said bradly game put things on the map in the wrong spot or has not vare detailed maps. I believe the one's that have that little PC looking icon is actually a checkerboard flag for races.

1 pointNot yet, but by next Christmas, there will be a lot more people with next gen consoles. Gta6 is probably only 3-4 years away.
-
1 pointI didn't say they would be developing online for 5 - 6 years. I just said that would be their focus over a whole new GTA on next gen. And while some people might be getting the new consoles, I'm not about to drop $400 on it just yet, and I'm sure there are others as well. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who will keep their old consoles. Hell I still play San Andreas on PS2. I'm especially keeping my current console for GTA Online if there is going to continuously be new content, as will many people on this site.

1 pointBullshit more than likely. Amazon will deliver on release day, it will be dispatched on the Monday too.
-
1 point6 friken days, these are gonna be tough and then another 14 until online drops. I have a feeling i will forget about online after i get my hands on this.
-
1 pointI think they shouldn't put in Liberty City in yet, I think it would be very repetitive, even if they did add new heist missions and buildings etc. I'm kind of sick of Liberty city. San Fierro and Las Venturas would be good add-ons, but they'd have to be as big as Los Santos with desert/countryside. If GTA Online is a success, I can see a new GTA game on the next gen consoles within 3 years, most likely Vice City in the modern era. They have limited themselves somewhat I don't think there'll be a GTA game based in the past now (but I could be wrong).

1 pointHe doesn't even have to go through the threads. Just go to the main page on the left side there's a "about gta 5" section with landmarks, characters, storyline, map, vehicles etc that will tell u what u need to know.

1 point“Some of the modifications that affect gameplay include brakes, engine tuning, suspension, horns, bulletproof tires, panel armor, and of course, a general repair! There are more than 1,000 modifications in total.” http://screencrush.com/customize-your-weapons-and-your-wheels-in-grand-theft-auto-5/ Sure I had read it somewhere

1 pointAnd here it is: I left the cuts in the roads/rails where the blue print's urban areas stop and my imagination took over. Here's a look at the mess I used: .gif comparison with Brady Games pic: Obviously some differences but pretty damn close. Anyway, glad it's over and we can sit back and wait for Rockstar to put a high quality map on the Social Club - and then we can rip and rape that for our own purposes.

1 pointThis drives home the possibility of being able to shop at stores suited for the other characters. Can we also dress Michael in a letterman jacket and baggy jeans?
-
1 pointNot sure about that one. It did take a long time to traverse from one end to the other though. I did it online with friends back in the day. Took like 15 minutes flat out in the best cars. This reminds me off all the people complaining about the map size all over the interwebs:
-
1 pointFor example, the side of Mount Chiliad! I'll try. Why not? It's like having a hire car. I don't think this vehicle can do that but I'm going to try.
