i took the rest of the week off... i will probably take a nap around 8am and continue on until 3 am... then get in a more proper sleeping state and get up at 8 the rest of the week and play until 3 am... i've tried to map it all out...

I cannot understand the whole midnight release thing. Seems like a major pain the in the ass. Plus, but the time you get the game home your gonna be all tired and shit and not feel good. Who wants to play a game in that state?

Funnily enough it has just happened to me for the first time now.... Just to back Fitty's earlier point, Google Safe Browsing diagnostics says... Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware? Over the past 90 days, igta5.com/forums did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites. Has this site hosted malware? No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days. How did this happen? In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message

The problem is that if Google (or whichever browser) checks this site and sees an ad from a blacklisted site, it blacklists us too even though users probably won't catch anything (redirect aside). I know the redirect thing has come up before. This time Google saw the ad. As for the lag, it seems to happen when this site gets over 1000 viewers. When this malware thing gets resolved I'll be inquiring about the lag. This new server was supposed to resolve our crashing issues from last time.

First midnight release for me too... I am just hoping I don't get heisted on the way home.... I have been told that there will be a bar open and they will have activities (fuck knows what though). I will probably turn up around 11:30pm. They assured me that I would be one of the first called up because I have a customer loyalty card (which is levelled up) and I am getting the CE. I will be pissed if I am at the end of a giant queue. And I have a week off work so I don't give a fuck about sleeping... I will play until the early hours then eat, nap, smoke dope and start again...

This will be my first midnight release too, I have no idea what the crowds or line up will be like in my town. I've taken Tue and Wed off work, might end up taking the rest of the week off. @bOnEs: I love the idea of showing up in a Bugstars shirt and watching other people's eyes bug out!

I've been to a couple of Midnight launches, SA was my favorite, they don't get better than a gta event! Other game events haven't been as "big". Anyway, I got my plan. Goto work, come home get changed go straight to the queue at 10:30ish. Play V for a few hoirs, take my som to school, sleep for a few hours before I pick him up. Then I have a couple of days off work to spend im Los Santos!

i'll be trolling mother fuckers with my bugstars shirt... i wonder how many people will take notice... i mean, it's not like you can buy those in the rockstar warehouse or something ... this might be the funnest midnight release for me, probably because a friend is coming along... i was a lone ranger at all the previous ones...

the GTA5 section is a good enough place ... i was gonna show up a couple hours early because a friend is tagging along... otherwise i would show up about an hour or so early... the line will move fast at midnight... i just paid off my pre-order and i will be attending the midnight release... perhaps some of us can share those pics at the scene if you feel so bold to take one... i might post one or two on facebook ... this will be my 5th midnight release, my very first one was GTAIV, go figure... then RDR, LA Noire and AC3... i showed up at midnight for AC3, i wasn't in that big of a rush... but fancy that, 4 out of 5 of those are R* games... i won a standee at the LA noire release, i wonder what they're giving away at the GTAV one... i spotted a few cube displays that looked pretty sweet... i hope it's those...

I had a 47" Acer with a screen that got a little banged up in my last move...like six years ago. Couldn't think of a better time to upgrade, so I charmed the 'rents into donating birthday/xmas funds early and matched their amount. After lots of pricing, I nabbed a mint condition 55" Sony Bravia LED HDTV. If that wasn't enough, it's also a SmartTV with 3D capacity. My man put in Gran Turismo, I swear it looks like a different game. The SmartTV interface is reminiscent of the PS3, so very familiar. Definitely over the top, but between movies, sports and gaming, it's worth it.

Hey guys, I have been informed that the main part of the server upgrade will happen sometime in the next 24 hours. There may be some downtime for about 30 minutes. Hopefully it is the last time for a while. The site may still act weird for a little bit during the transition. The new server will be about twice the specs of our current server that has been running these sites for 8 years - something we finally outgrew recently. We've come a long way since GTA-SanAndreas.com in both content and coverage of other games. iGTA5 has obviously proved to be very popular and it will continue to get more popular as we approach the release of Grand Theft Auto V. On the downside, part of paying for the new server means a couple more ads. There will be an additional footer ad and guests will see ads in forum topics (you may have seen them on other forums right under the OP). These pay directly for the server as always. Thanks and let's continue to make iGTA5 the best place for GTA V!

i am not a 3D fan at all... after seeing quite a few movies in 3D, i still don't get the appeal, plus i can't wear those glasses for 2 hours... i have to take breaks...

The best option for hydraulic controls would be the Saints Row 2 route. Honk the horn with the left analog stick, then operate the hydraulics with the right analog stick. Honk it again, the hydraulics stop and the camera functions normally.

Hey, on the same note, couldn't get onto the forum a moment ago until I clicked off the "Block reported attack sites" button in the security settings. Also, I've been having that same problem with this place re-directing me to another site, only on me phone though, and not all the time.

Midnight Club LA's driving sucks imo, it's way too arcade for my taste. Each to their own. The previews always talked about car customization like MC:LA, not the driving, right? I've been criticising GTA IV's handling a lot, but it only needed some suspension tweaks, not a stick to the ground like glue behaviour.

Like Dup said, the Official GTA V Map will be two sided, with Los Santos County on one side and Blaine County on the other. An official Map is unlikely to have hidden content/ Information pointed out, that's what a strategy guide is for ( like the Brady Guide Map ). But like I said in an earlier post, Brady Guides are famous for being full of inaccurate information and not being very in-depth.
