I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for keeping me sane these last two years there are some amazing threads and I hope we continue to use the forums and share out gta v experiences! Mods in here are awesome thinning out the trolls good job! So yeah thanks everyone it's been emotional! But now things are going to get reeeeeeeeaaaaaly messy! Peace!

First impressions are unbelievable. The gsme feels unmistakably GTA. Cars handle perfectly fine. And so far the characters feel spot on. After a few story missions I took my first roadtrip in a bullet I found in vespucci. And took it around malibu way anf looped back around to vinewood. Fucking amazing journey and the scale was way bigger than I even expected...

The purpose of buying cars is you all complained about not being able to spend money on shit then suggested that we should be able to buy cars so Rockstar listened and now that you can y'all still can't figure it out.

Agreed and its great to be able to drive at a high speed without fear of your car flying wildly out of control.

Yes the advantage is that they get saved in the special garage. You can always pick them up I think.

I'd say garage stored is guaranteed, but the other cars you drive past the gate tend to hang around.

About 20% in. Still awesome. It is a bit annoying not more hair options but nothing major. I would prefer a few more buildings open. My favourite is Trevor. He is insane but so much fun!

so i may be over tired, and too fried...but i can't seem to find a way to change the minimap from miles to km. i'm a Canuck, so i want km dammit. lol suppose it don't really matter, but i'd rather km. Any help is appreciated. thx

I've been playing for about 3 hours now and I still can't believe how fresh this game feels. It's totally different from all the other GTAs in my opinion. The driving,the shooting, the animations, everything is so well done. I have to agree on the opening mission, it was epic. My hands were shaking like crazy. But that might be just a side effect because I've waited so long, we all waited so long and I can promise you guys, you won't be disappointed. P.s. Trevor looks badass! And to any Phill Collins fan out there... well find out for yourself.

Eminem is so overrated. Sure, he was really, really good at one point. But now, I just don't like his music as much as I did when he was rapping at the start of his career. Perhaps because everywhere I go I see EMINEM IZ KING OV RAP, and teenage girls saying how they love 'real' rap simply because they heard 'Recovery' on the radio a few years ago. Personally I believe East Coast rappers are a lot more lyrical (Jeru, Nas, G Rap, BDK, Rakim etc...) but West coast rap is more chilled out and relaxed, focused more on having a good time, with that funky-ass G-Funk. ( Ice Cube, Pac, CMW, SCC, Spice 1 etc...) But of course there are exceptions to both. And then of course there is Scarface from the south, who is one of the best rappers as well. Also the best producers (at least of the 90s) belonged to the East coast, no contest. (DJ Premier, Pete Rock) One of my favourite Primo beats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbgVGOn0WX0
