Well... Another IV character popped up...

Didn't know where to put his, so I'll just leave it here...

There is a large amount of visible damage you can do to your car. Everything about the damage has been improved, right down to having more detailed scratches on the paint if you scrape against another car. As for driving, to each their own. Some people like cars that handle like they're being driven on a frozen lake, I suppose.

Just played through what I'm sure will be one of my many favorite moments in the game..

I have taken only one photo..... not sure why...

So I was playing fetch with chop, and I threw the ball at my garage, thinking it would bounce back. It didnt, so when he went to get it somehow my car blew up and killed him...

One thing I dislike, is that there is no Fullscreen mode when watching TV. Unless we get it for the bigger safehouses or something ( I haven't gotten that far into the game yet ).

1) There's an "SMG" pick up under Del Perro Pier ( easy free ammo ). 2) An easy way to win every Tennis game where your opponent is serving ( on Hard Difficulty ). Is to stand very close to the backside box ( the square where the ball is served into ), and then take the ball as early as you can, and use a slice shot to hit the ball into the opposite corner of the court to where your opponent is. Then use a top spin shot to quickly put the ball into the opposite corner of the court ( your opponent will never beat both of these shots/ if done correctly ). I call this the Andre Agassi Strategy... And once you've mastered the serve, you'll never be beaten again. Aim away from where your opponent is standing and try and get the serve marker to the top for the most power ( obviously ).

^ Had the same happen to Michael. I check the stock occasionally, but I'm just waiting for it to go a little higher before selling. Not particularly interested in fiddling with stocks.

There's a 'blimp' option in your contact list. Call it, and the blimp will be delivered to the nearest location a blimp could be landed in. Edit: Go away, Jamie.

I wonder the same thing. When you go into the garage press right on the d-pad and you can choose. Special cars are stored separately to regular cars

Me either... I have only unlocked about half the map as well. I end up driving around a lot, not really doing anything at all... I've "made it rain" a few times though... Meeting Trevor for the first time has to be my favorite moment of the game so far.. I love rolling in the hood with Franklin or planning heists with Michael but Trevor is something completely different.. Being able to play with Trevor just took the game up to a whole new level of awesomeness for me

Guys there is an option for a different crosshair, go to display -> crosshair. Have fun shooting. Looks more like IV.

Amen, brother. IMO, the soundtrack is pretty poor. My gripes include: -The rock station is more yacht rock than K-DST, although I've always got time for Alan Parsons Project. - The pop station was bearable the first time I listened to it. Now it seems every second car is tuned into it. If I hear 'Gimme More' one more time.... - There's no metal, there's no rnb -The reggae station sucks (compared to previous GTAs) - Radio Los Santos is pants. - The country station sucks compared to K-Rose. The only song I've enjoyed so far is Convoy. - Flylo is balls. as is the dance music station - There's only one talkback station. - Did we really need 2 indie stations? - Did R* seriously think anyone would listen to the Mexican station? The only stations I regularly listen to are West coast classics, the funk station (the one with Eddie Murphy and Rick James), and the rock station. Half the time, I just turn the radio off. Hopefully R* can release some radio DLC, because I'm already sick of most of it, and the games only been out 2 days.

i am way past that mission... i'll do some more research but no one is really talking about the stock market right now...

Cool story, Kuz. I love the handling in V. IV was great and quite realistic, but that realism can take a toll on gameplay. V seems to be balanced enough to give the cars a real-world feel while keeping the fun factor up. If you want a driving sim, you shouldn't be looking for it in GTA. I don't see the problem here.

Heist tip I learned: Just because you don't need a good shooter, doesn't mean the lower skilled shooter won't fuck up something else during the heist. Also, there is armor in the Downtown LS police station lobby. I assume others have it too.

^I kind of agree with your point you had. Although I'm by no means anti-smartphone, I think a feature like custom plates, which is first in first served, should have been added to the social club instead (or in game), so everyone could use it. The app is so gimped, I can't even tell if my plates that it said I'd ordered actually registered or not. I got a message from LS customs saying something was ready for my Buffalo, but I went there and nothing happened. Has anyone here actually got any custom plates?

I just played that... Fucking intense! That was rather unexpected. I like how at the end he snaps back to reality and the advocate is still explaining the cause.

The purpose of buying cars is you all complained about not being able to spend money on shit then suggested that we should be able to buy cars so Rockstar listened and now that you can y'all still can't figure it out.

Wouldn't wanna go back to GTA IV style driving... V always feels like an adrenalin rush.

Yeah, imo the driving in V is much better.

First impressions are unbelievable. The gsme feels unmistakably GTA. Cars handle perfectly fine. And so far the characters feel spot on. After a few story missions I took my first roadtrip in a bullet I found in vespucci. And took it around malibu way anf looped back around to vinewood. Fucking amazing journey and the scale was way bigger than I even expected...
