Not quite realistic. In LA, people just sit there in the traffic. Few people plow through it in an armored truck with bull horns on the hood and a teddy bear tied to the grill. That one's a Los Santos original.

My favourite feature is the character switching. Got stuck in the middle of nowhere, just switch to another dude. Perfect.

There are plenty of opportunities to make money. You just need to invest the money you make from Heists into Businesses and Shares. Businesses are important for their regular income, and shares are even better because of the massive profits that can be made with them. It's kind of like real-life. Most people won't make enough money from their job alone to become rich ( or in the case of GTA V's characters - Heisting Joints ). They need to invest the money they earn, so that the money works for them, instead of it being the other way round. I think Rockstar is secretly telling us the secret to being successful and making money is Investments. And because most people are too ignorant or stupid to work it out for themselves, they decided to make it a major gameplay element. They're saying that you don't need to be a Drug Dealer/ Crime Lord, or to have a Genius-Level Intellect to make money. Any person with half a brain and a decent work ethic can become financially comfortable or even rich. Investments seem complex, but they're not, and anyone with a disposable income should be setting some money aside to buy some. But most people don't ( for whatever reason ), and this game will end up going right over their heads.

You can only use the 'Lower Wanted Level' cheat if you already have a wanted level, it won't prevent you from getting a wanted level in the first place, only get rid of one you already have. It doesn't do anything if you don't have one...that's why you got the 'Cheat denied' message. *moved to GTA V section*

I always make a rudimentary map in Photoshop for myself while I play, but lists are better for completeness, if to be posted. Hopefully everyone will post what they find as well! Thanks for asking gtagrl.

Synch, will you be making maps or complete lists once all the pickups have been located?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but you can ride on top of the big trucks without falling off. The driver will drive you around while you shoot everything. That was one of my favorite things to do in San Andreas.

I couldn't help noticing you said "few people" as opposed to "nobody"... Is there something you want to tell us, Mass?

It's all located on their own website.

This would completely defeat the revolutionary, vastly entrepreneurial theme of GTA V that Rockstar have spent the last two years touting. The game focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar. To me, "pursuit" describes something more than punching in a credit card number and hitting Buy Now. "Pursuit" refers to meticulously planning elaborate, daring heists and enjoying the satisfaction of executing them. To go from the painstakingly player-driven experience of moneymaking to being able to achieve the same boast-worthy bankroll with a total lack of skill, participation, or effort would be a step down and a letdown. It'd be pointless, it'd be futile, and above all, it'd be un-Rockstar-like. I can't see them doing this.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/09/23/rockstar-aware-of-cars-disappearing-from-grand-theft-auto-v-garages.aspx So Rockstar have acknowledged this problem. Apparently, driving the character's personal vehicles may be causing your stored safe house cars to disappear.

I found this van by accident, I died and respawned at LS hospital, it's parked there.

Sports car - Übermacht Oracle(new M5 version), it was my getaway car for the final heist and it did a great job outrunning the cops. Muscle car - Imponte Phoenix, because it's a manly man machine. Super car - Pegassi Vacca, love the design, the sound, the handling.

@MainEvent. It's simple really. All you have to do is buy low and sell high ( just like it says in the game ). Except that the Stock Exchange in the game is better than any real-life counterpart, in that companies never go bankrupt, so if you wait long enough you will always make money ( you can't lose ). Some Missions ( like the Assassination Missions ) influence the market, and even doing some things while Free-Roaming can have an affect on stock prices as well. Like for instance blowing up Businesses Trucks/ Planes, or killing their employees and then investing in Rival Companies. Most of the Companies have a Major Rival. Some examples are ~ *Bean Machine - Cool Beans *Burger Shot - Up-An-Atom *Taco Bomb - Clucking Bell *Air Emu - Fly US *Bank of Liberty - MazeBank *GoPostal - Post OP etc... So if you screw around with one company it will positively affect the other. For instance blowing up a few "GoPostal" Vans with an RPG will improve the stock-value of "Post OP". Or using some Sticky Bombs to blow up some "Fly US" Planes at the Airport will raise the share-price of Air Emu.

I often think I can jump over shit that I can't, the amount of times I've had Trevor face plant into a fence is ridiculous but each time I laugh, never gets old.

I thought it could've been a bit longer, but maybe that's just because I enjoyed the missions.

im kind of disappointed at the number of enterable buildings. it seemed like there were far far more in gta 4 then this one. i cant even go into a fast food joint or a hospital or barly anything. there is alot of stuff that rockstar was hinting at what we can do and we cant do half of it. its an awesome game but i hope gta 6 will b better.

You guys don't have to agree with Sync, just agree to disagree. Remember that this is the "Things You Didn't Like In GTA V Topic", so we're all just giving our opinions. Not facts or anything. Use the Dinghy or Submarine, and when you exit them you automatically equip Scuba Gear ( this is in Free-Roam ). Here's a vid showing the location of a Submarine where you can get Scuba Gear ( first you will need to buy a property to access it ) ~

Tip I learned getting through the game: don't bother purchasing or even finding armor or weapons before going into missions (unless required). With health regeneration you really don't need armor. There's a few chase missions where people are constantly shooting at you but for most of the missions you either drive away from the bullets easily or have plenty of cover during combat. As for weapons you might want something more powerful than what is given but you are usually provided a decent weapon and plenty of ammo (assuming you are not spraying everything). My opinion, at least.

I like all 3 main characters equally, but I think Trevor is the only one who could have a whole game devoted him. My fav supporting characters are easily Jimmy and Lamar. Oh yeah, my least favourite character was Franklin's aunt, Denise. I think Trevor summed up my reaction to her perfectly. Shut the fuck up.

Trevor's not evil, he just has a bad case of Charlie Sheen, meaning he's vilified for knowing how to have a good time.

Just switched to Trevor to find him riding a scooter alongside a random person also on a scooter. "We are brothers! Scooooooter brothers! We will go on a journey... of scooters." He continues yelling random things about them being scooter brothers as I follow the guy.

Yeah, and most of the time when you reach your destination, the dialogue doesn't just cut off, which was one of my main gripes about previous GTAs
