Old thread bump, but i though this would be a good enough post to grant a bump. Well then, now the "Next Gen" is upon us, the new consoles are released/releasing as i write this. We have a better understanding of how things will look this generation. Obviously the games that are coming out this year and probably early next year, wont look hugely impressive. But for an even better understanding of what this generation is capable of, we should be looking at work from the artists, like portfolios and such. These are the guys that will be molding the current gen into what we can expect from it. Here's a couple of good 3D artworks I've spotted running on current generation engines, that will be possible on PS4 and Xbox One in the near future: Wrecked Apartment by Wiktor Ohman . Sc-fi Environment by Helder Pinto Female sci-fi character by Adam Fisher A Gentleman's Rest by gartht3d I may post some more later.

After a slight scare caused by not plugging my HDMI cable into my tv properly, TTI'm happy to announce that my PS4 is working and it is awesome. *touches wood* *touches entire amazon rainforest*

Don't get me all excited. If Fallout wasteland isn't a viable future, dystopian cyberpunk megacity is my next choice. It would be nice if every country with a digital presence (fuck you, yurt-dwelling, landlocked Asian countries) used a single, purely digital currency, though.

I've been using a banana, mango and habanero sauce lately which is made in the Cook Islands - real nice...

I am not the best GTA player but surely there is something wrong when I can rank up quicker playing golf than by driving around, killing people and generally causing mayhem....

I guess i did. But if they do normalize it, then there'll only be another new type of online currency, so there'll be a constant evolution of different currencies. *Imagines the future* I can imagine viewing exchange rates for online currencies alone. Team Soho ( now known as SCE London Studio ) the makers of "The Getaway" Series are one of Sony's First Party Dev's. But for years now Sony has been making them develop kids games like "EyePet" and "Wonderbook", along with the craptacularly bad "SingStar" games. Their most recent project has been "The Playroom" App for the PS4 ( which was finished a while ago ). But right now they have an "Untitled Project" which has yet to be revealed yet. You can see it on their Wiki page ~ http://en.wikipedia....E_London_Studio Here's hoping that it's "The Getaway 3". And that they announce it at E3 2014. This Trailer was originally for the PS3 ( not PS4 ). So anything that they've made now will be infinitely better...

You answered your own question. It's untraceable. Once they get their hands on it, they're going to fuck it up and it's not going to be untraceable anymore. Marijuana legalization is a decent comparison. I don't want marijuana to be legalized, because the government will get involved, stuff in all the same toxic shit they added to tobacco, and ruin it. Bitcoins are the same thing. If the government - any government - gets their hands on something ubiquitous, they're going to make it into whatever they want it to be, ruining its intended purpose and spreading their own heinous corruption to a much wider market.

The Getaway 3 was meant to be a launch release for PS3. They even did a tech demo at E3 from what i recall. But it never happened. Maybe they're saving it for PS4? i wonder. Rockstar Games do need to do a modern day British game though. There's not been anything like that for years. And there's a lot to offer in terms of visuals, especially this generation. 'The Division' has proven that.

Last night, a few of my friends staged a "fight club"-type thing at the Vinewood Bowl. Things were just getting underway when a gang of randoms swarmed over the hill crests and intervened. A massive firefight ensued. The aftermath: The limo cockpit: I may or may not have posted this before, but I found a Bulldozer at the airport and got a few friends in the bucket. Not pictured; the other four people crammed into it. Found a menacing gang of marauding Scooter Brothers in the Story Mode. One of them was just driving off as I took this pic:

I have family in the Caribbean, and there's a special bottle of hot sauce from one of my visits there...it has a homemade label. The unit of measurement we've devised for using it is dipping the tip of a butter knife in the hot sauce, like 3 millimeters, and stirring it into chili. Anything more than that and your anus starts charring almost immediately. It's tasty stuff but OOOWEEE.

Call up Ron and request a Job. He'll probably give you one called "Base Invaders", where you fly to the Fort Zancudo airbase, destroy some fighter jets, and steal a Cargobob. This pays pretty highly, if I recall, so just keep repeating it if you're up to the monotony.

I grow my own chilli's then dry or freeze them until I need them. I have a huge jar of dried and crushed chilli that I use mostly after cooking unfortunately. Kids don't like hot food much, and the tears are distracting.

I'm bemused about the excitement over sriracha or hot sauce and the like because they are condiments. It's like someone jizzing all over their plate because they discovered ketchup or mustard or salsa. Your food should be well seasoned and tasty before you start adding small amounts of condiments to accentuate what's already there. Some of the guys at work dump so much Frank's on their lunch every day I'd be shocked if their taste buds still work at all.

I am probably the only one who would want this but here goes... An open world game set in the late 70's to early 80's in Britain. Similar to GTA in that it would be satirical and humorous, but more like Sleeping Dogs or The Warriors in terms of game play. You start off as a young guy just out of a borstal or kids home looking to find ways to have fun and make money... Story threads would include rioting football crews, the punk movement and skinhead gangs, the threat of the IRA, miners fighting the government, yardie gangs and organised crime similar to the Krays. Not many guns but a lot of environment based combat using bricks, bottles and whatever else you can find, knives, chains etc... with the odd shotgun and pipe bomb thrown in for good measure. Will you end up a football hooligan, police nark or a terrorist for the IRA??
