That's a great quest for a number of reasons, mainly the Blackhawk reward. You can totally stealth your way through it using the white noise flushes, and a little skill. Just kill everything with FIRE FIRE FIRE. Then also have some sheet music for Agatha when returning the Soire Stratavarius. Your stealth, lockpicking, and lurk killing skills should be upped after. Plus the caravans stop at Agatha's. No you can continue on.Broken Steel is epic, long, and cool. It will eat your leveling up for sure. Try the first DLC Operation Anchorage first for the XP and massive rewards. Not much really, it's your choice. Gatling Laser is awesome, and the rare variants found in the Deathclaw Sanctuary and at the Adams AFB during Broken Steel. Other than that, it's the one given to you by Harkness, and a few other rare ones. I go pyro and sniper myself. Fooled around with the energy weapons but only to max skill. It's a natural thing to go to New Vegas next. Different story, location, and character.....not sure about the lore part but yeah. Not the same character, but the timeline is like, parallel, er something. Out west in NV, the Enclave is but a "remnant".....it's all about Caesar's Legion vs. New California Republic, and Mr. House and his NV Strip. There are more than a few factions but those are the main 2 and Mr.House...... It's the same feel but different. You'll love it Gin.

When you hover over the class, hit square and it brings up the vehicle list from that class. Probably easier to disable the whole class and then go in (press square) and mark the Journey and Camper.

I was working in a crawl space repairing electrical connections and I cut the line that we thought went to the crawlspace so that it could be removed. It was late and i thought we should finish up the next day, but it was my co-workers house and he wanted to finish it the same day. We ended up finishing it quicker than i expected and turned on power. On my way home, i stopped at a minimart to get a drink. It was a "hood" minimart, and when I walking in, the cashier greeted me with a "whatcha doin in hear, white boy?" I walked past her, giving her a glance with a "dont fuck with me swagger." As i made my way to the back of the store, i turned right and was met by a black dude who had a black ps3 in one hand (although it looked square, more like the original ps2) and a white ps2 slim in the other. He was trying to sell them, but i tried to motion to him that i wasn't interested. However, as i was walking by i reached out for the ps2 slim, before quickly realizing what i was doing and moving my hand quickly back. I could feel the quick burst of hope of a quick sell in his eyes fade away into nothingness. As i walked by him, in the right-back corner of the minimart, i had apparently walked into the "home theater" section of the minimart (or pawnshop, now, i guess). There were old tv's, a vcr here and there, nothing too spectacular, except the performers. There was a group of 4-5 black skinny-ish dudes rapping, i was thinking to myself, "damn, they sound pretty good, almost too good to be performing in this place".... I cant remember exactly what they were rapping, but it wasn't a well known song. I walked into the next "area". It was a small stage at the front, which opened up to a massive crowd. On the stage were a few people fully dressed in african garb dancing and singing tribal music. I walked across the stage which ended up being the front right of the store/pawnshop. I made my way up the rows of seats, and as i was working my way up, the performers had finished one song an were polling the audience about what they wanted to hear next. While the question was in english, the names of the songs where very tribal. The audience was shouting out their choices, and as i was walking by, a white mother and her young daughter were in the crowd. They both had long flowing blond hair, and big bright blue eyes. They were both shouting out their choice, it was "bweee bweee" or something like that. Their faces stuck out to me for some reason. After that, somehow i found out that the house i had worked on earlier was having electrical problems again. Namely, the houses dock and boat lift wasn't powered. The owner (not my coworker, who, as it turned out was just the tenant) told me that the dock wasn't working, and that the wire that was underneath the house that we had cut was the one that went out to the dock. I was pissed off at that point, because it was the house my coworker lived in and he had assured me that that wire didn't go to anything important. Then, i was back at the house. The owner was in the home, explaining to me that the dock wasn't working and if i could help him. At that point, we both heard from outside the window "help her, why can't you help her, help her" in a woman's voice, shrill, ghostly, and full of desperation, yet soft enough to still leave some doubt as to what we actually heard. I headed towards the door, turned left, and started walking down the steps. A figure was walking up to greet me. Dressed in something mostly black, skinny, with an oversized head. Pale white, skull like, but with huge black eyes with wide white ridges around the eyes. The figure's nose and lips existed, but they were shriveled in distress and distain for me. Out from beneath it's cloak of darkness it raised its arm to a point, pointing its finger at me "help her, why can't you help her, help her" followed by a shriek so cold and hopeless that it woke me up shivering, panicking.

I got a pat on the back when I graduated . I like the cultural diversity we got in here.

Unless your energy weapons skill is very high, they're pretty much useless. I think there are certain enemies that they're more useful against, but it's not worth the inventory space.

Is there any advantage energy weapons have over the more traditional guns? They all seem a lot weaker....

oasis is a good quest ... once broken steel is installed, you can reach level 30, even if you ignore the main story... and sure, fallout 3 could be beaten in 15-20 hours... hell it could probably be beaten in 8 hours if you know where to go at a certain point in the story... but it's the side quests and general character development that will eat into your time... but yea, the main story is probably in the 12-16 hour range... i never did a speed run because i can't do that with games like this... there's so much to enjoy that i can't just make a straight run thru the story...

@Parker - forget your previous life.... you are now a Lone Wanderer... Just got round to exploring the southwest of the Capital Wasteland, distracting me from the story again... found out about Oasis from the drifter... sooo, off to check that shit out... Quick question for the masters... I have Broken Steel installed. Do I have to finish the story to continue ranking up after 20 because I'm at 19 now and don't want to "waste" XP? (I would use the Wiki but don't want to spoil the BS story... I know most of the main games one though...) Also, I saw a review that said the main story of Fallout 3 could probably be completed in 15-20 hours... I am 140+ hours in and my next story quest is The Waters of Life.... Has anyone ever done a speed run? What's the lowest possible rank or XP points you can end the main story with?

Go on a scooter adventure today! this one was an idea i had for a while, but never put the time into finding a spot for it... and the ship part was totally unexpected, i didn't think i could make it work but i did... as the description states, you have to pull back on the analog stick just before you reach the stairs, otherwise you slam right into them instead of ramping it... also, there's a checkpoint i managed to cleverly place, however, respawning takes you to the last one, which shouldn't be an issue if it ever happens to you... it was the only way to give direction, to keep the race flowing... also, this is officially my longest scooter race, a whole whopping .10 miles longer!!

One of the very first things I encountered, early on in the game, was a giant radscorpion. I was out scouting around, exploring new terrain, and was sneaking around the side of some big abandoned barn. I turned the corner expecting to find it empty, and hoping to find some good loot...only to come face to face with a terrifying monster the size of a house. I don't think I even tried shooting at it, just turned and ran as fast as I could. Talk about shitting your pants. It was the first scorpion I'd seen thus far in the game, so when I saw the regular-sized ones for the first time in a tunnel, I just laughed.

Fuck yeah. Good quest. Make sure you check your Pip-Boy's radio afterward.

Finding the violin for Agatha.... I haven't really explored too much north of Vault 101 and exploring anywhere takes 3 times as long because of my hoarding tendencies...
