2 pointslol - Raccoons were something I'd only seen rummaging through garbage at people's lakeside cabins...until I moved to Toronto. In the GTA, raccoons are as common as pigeons, or squirrels. And they're huge. And completely unafraid of people. They know when garbage day is, and can break into just about any container. Once, when I still lived there, my man and I were in the living room watching TV when we heard the familiar sound of cat kibble being crunched in the kitchen...then noticed both cats were curled up with us in the living room. A racoon had opened the sliding patio door and waddled in to our kitchen and was happily feasting at the cat bowl. He wasn't all that interested in moving...and those fat fuckers are hard to budge. I used to see whole families of them walking around in trees...there have been several hilarious encounters. Most common birds here: chickadees, finches, sparrows, robins, grackles, gulls, geese. Cardinals are harder to spot unless they're nesting nearby. Blue jays are around a lot right now, I've seen them at our feeders lately too. Anyway, I've managed some awesome wilderness & feeder bird photos since we moved out east, I think you'll like the slideshow once I get it done.

2 pointsDio there seems to be an attack of the ducks on your signature. Is there something you want to tell the group? Well i was going to go and exchange the ps3 for the ps4 today but i figured i best play one last night on there with you guys.
-
2 pointsWhat specifically do you do that you couldn't do on iOS? Everone talks about the super uber things they are doing on androids, but there's never any specifics... Maybe I'm missing out on something..

2 pointsGotta be the Memphis, and i will tell you why! First off the neck on that guitar is the thinnest neck I've ever held aside from those 7 string metal guitars. Just feels great. Second as a blues/classic/hard rock style player the Strat just suits the style, it's the brightest strat i've ever played too, and there's lots of attack when i play it though The Vox vt40 i've got. Plus you know it's got the road wear and my personal touch, i'm sure you respect that last point Lotsa soul on that old 76. I'm actually gonna redo it a bit later this week. Take it all apart and fix the input jack, i'm gonna paint it again too. It's been repainted like 4 times already so i figure no harm done. Best $80 i've ever spent.

1 pointCoons are some ballsy mofos. We had one coming into our back porch every night, not for trash, just for the sake of exploration. His routine eventually became so concrete that he'd keep it up even when the porch was full of people. Brian, them turkeys looked ripe, did you bag 'em?

1 pointWhy I prefer Apple: Consistent updates not only on their hardware, but their software. Bug fixes happen very quickly. Hardware and software are built to work flawlessly together, as they're made by the same company. People can say that iOS is limited, but with iOS 8 we're now seeing a lot of extensions, such as keyboards, notification widgets, etc. The only thing I needed to use jailbreaking for was to get adblock for YouTube and Safari and one where I can play YouTube in the background, so I could exit the app or lock my phone and still have music play (if the song wasn't on Spotify). iPhones hold their value too. You can sell a year old phone for over $400, and most people don't spend nearly that much with contract upgrade prices. I sold a 4s for $280 after three years, and spent $299 on the phone. In the end though, it comes down to personal choice.

1 pointOne of the eagles was posing prettily in the morning sun today - kicking myself for not having my camera with me...again. I am compiling a bird slideshow for you in the meantime, Brian. There's a fuckton of shots to go through but it'll be worth it once I'm done.

1 pointMy wife has an iPhone, and i have a Galaxy. Yes iOS is a more solid OS. But what good is a decent OS when Apple lock the shit out of it, and only release apps they want you to use. At least with Android, you have the ability to mod your OS extensively, third party and no-party apps are easier to get in abundance. And Android allows you to play any music, film, tv series, comic, magazine. Whether you ripped it off the net or not. plus iTunes... So outdated man.

1 pointI platinum'd GTAV on PS3 eventually, but that was just from playing it so much, not from trying. I'm sure that time will come again with the PS4 version eventually. But yeah, I couldn't give a shit about them really, doesn't change how fun it is, or how much I'm playing it. Anyway, back on topic, i was thinking about the interior views. Can you imagine how cool it would look driving in a tank looking through the tiny hatch shooting stuff. Or flying a plane in a storm with all the gauges and switches lit up, with your character pressing them... Or driving on a wet day driving down around the city with your windscreen wipers washing the drips off the windscreen, whilst tuning in to Los Santos Rock Radio, and Baker street is weeping out of your half open windows. TANK INTERIORS! SUBMARINE INTERIORS!! HORSE INTERIORS!!!
-
1 pointThat has not been the case for me, and every Apple OS I've used has been shit, from computers to phones.
-
1 pointAs you know I'm likely not getting a PS4 anytime soon, so my vote doesn't really count. I could make either day work, but just wouldn't be free every week. I do like the idea of a weekend slot to make it easier to connect with the down-under time zone. Maybe by next year when I get one, enough of the crew will have next-gen and we won't need to keep separate nights going.
