How cool - never heard of any of those varieties before. Here so far we've had some Honeycrisp, Paula Reds, and the family favourite Cortland will be ready this weekend, that's exclusively what I use in freezer pies. Our regular orchard should have some pears now too. Wish we could do an apple-exchange program!

Lovely!! We'll be doing the same this weekend - apples, pears, cider, pie pumpkins. What kind of apples were available when you went? My goal is to stuff the freezer with premade apple pies (and pumpkin puree), so that when it's snowing sideways in the coming months, I can chuck one from freezer to oven and remember the day we picked the apples off the tree, and say Fuck You to old man winter.

Took the kids Apple picking yesterday. Made them hold up a sheet under the tree whilst i did an earthequake test. Got more than enough apples abd pears to last a couple of weeks. We made an apple crumble with cinnamon. Will probably do an apple pie, and a pear tart at so.e point this week too.

Yeah, the editor pretty much stops us from standing around for too long waiting for people to huddle together. Instead, we get to stay in shenanigan mode, and if we do end up doing shit as a group, it's all recorded for us to analyse later. It's a winning situation.

Briefly browsed the Bethesda store, due to the sale. I cannot stop laughing at the portly shirt model that randomly turns up once out of every 20 shirts I look at. Yes, "portly" is the only adjective that describes him. "Fat" isn't jovial enough. This is a humpty dumpty motherfucker.

i'm no hero, just a guy who wanted dat 101 hoodie the second bethesda announced it!! i basically have worn it for over a year now whenever the weather calls for a hoodie... even in the winter, i throw it on underneath my coat... it's the best money i ever spent on clothes, ever... i love it, and i love that it looks worn out the more i use it... i hope in 5 years it looks like what an old vault-tec hoodie would look like, and the only way to achieve that is by wearing it every chance you get! it's even getting the sun fade in spots...
