Dude those guys are big pussycats. Legendary, Glowing, Chamelion, all pussycats. I'm sure that they are (eventually) trainable, if DLC's and Fallout 3 have anything to say about it. The Gauss Rifle is not the only one shot kill on them. I've got plenty of Legendary and Modified weapons to own them. Hey QD, speaking of pussycats, remember when you said cats were in the game? I picked the lock on a Diamond City resident, only to find this......

The Slog Back in early December, first wife Cait and I spent a weekend developing the first edition of The Slog for Wiseman and Diedre. It's been redone since then. All the inhabitants now have upgraded combat armor and heavy weaponry, the turrets upgraded to heavy machine guns with additional two gunner nests. While it is primarily a Tarberry farm we added corn, mutfruit, melons and tato plants. There is a bar, TV, Jukebox, houseplants, plenty of beds, furniture, a full kitchen, most of all interior have also been redone since then. Here are the shots from that time, seems like ages ago. Cait has her own set of power armor, and weapons named after her as all my wives do. In shots 7-10 you can see one of Nora/Synch's prized X-01 Military Power Armor modified with Jet Pack and Calibrated legs for even more carrying ability, on the repair racks. She's such a gear-head...... Note that shot 13 is Hancock trying to get some. Funny that it was caught at this time, because.... This is also, the last known whereabouts of him as he can randomly OD on Jet, and evidently did. Never saw him again after this. Around December 9. Fully maxed out friendship with the Isodoped perk. I trust my ghoul friends more than just about any other creatures in the game, excluding companions. They have made the best provisioners, guards, and workers, so I always give them a bar to up the happiness meter.

Do you niggas even Gauss Rifle? Take the Castle back for the Minutemen, then buy the unique Gauss Rifle called The Last Minute, from the quartermaster. I can one-shot any enemy with it. Just make sure you stock up on ammo. 2mm EC rounds are rare in the world, and pricey from merchants. I had 500 or so, and I'm down to around 350 now.

Depends on the character, I guess. I think it looks more like a junker's rifle than a sophisticated energy weapon. It looks very much like a garage project, until you add barrel shielding and a compensator or supressor. The gun is huge, when there's a suppressor on it, by the way. Looks too big even for power armor. --------------------- Not sure where my allegiances will lie, but I'm making a chem cooker/scavenger/engineer character. He'll use an unmodified Gauss Rifle, Road Goggles, and Proctor Teagan's (the Brotherhood of Steel quartermaster) unique armor. I loved that armor as soon as I saw it, but I was firmly Brotherhood, on my first file, and couldn't kill him. I also have a melee-based stealthy female character for siding with the Railroad, and I made Gordon Freeman to side with the Institute.

I just want to show you my Gwinnets. It's like Guinness for me. In this screenshot; The marker landed on my Nuka Cherry collection from the inventory but I wanted to show you my beers. So you can come over and drink with me. I forgot to mention there is bacon on the grill, just don't ask what type of bacon.

shabbagaz, your buildings are insane. Seriously. I tip my hat to you, sir. I wasn't going to use energy weapons much my first playthrough, in the spirit of roleplaying something else further on...then grabbed Righteous Authority from my inventory once because low ammo, and took a real shine to it. Fixed it up real nice, it's one of the current favourites...till I level up and/or find something better. btw, I'm wearing my Fallout shirt right now!

I gave one of my provisioners a gauss rifle, and another a fully upgraded railway rifle. So much fun hearing *clank clank clank choo choo* when I encounter them in a battle somewhere in the wastes. One thing I just figured out was that you can also give them a single grenade and they'll have an infinite supply, like their ammo. Not sure if it works for nuka grenades though. But plasmas definitely.

Bollocks to sensible names for my guns, I prefer to be childish! Anyway, done a lot of work at Sanctuary and added some new buildings including a whore house! And now for the whore house - was originally going to put something else along with 'tits' too but I ran out of the required resources at the time. One of the rooms for watching porn... One of the bedrooms. You get free drugs/chems too! Even pervs can watch... Washing & toilet facilities - a rather strange & disturbing set up! Strip bar on the top floor: Complete with a raised 'catwalk' I've also took the time to restore a destroyed house or two at other settlements and have started work on a 'monster' structure at Abernathy Farm. Essentially I've turned Fallout 4 into my own version of Grand Designs!

I've avoided chems on this character so far too (other than stimpaks and rad maintenance), but the syringer looks intriguing. My next character will likely be a non-stealthy, selfish asshole. But I need to play though my first file first...definitely going to be playing this weekend!

I can't see myself siding with the Brotherhood at this stage... they are a bit bossy and talk down to me... not sure I want to go against them though... the thought of battling hundreds of power armour wearing soldiers doesn't appeal. I spent 2 hours organising my magazine stands and creating a mod library... I think I take this game more seriously than real life...

Finally finished the game, for the first time. Went with the Brotherhood of Steel, for my first playthrough. Great questline, lots of Fallout 3 callbacks. Amazing game.

I do this all the time. Only way I get game time is to sacrifice sleep. I often wake up on the couch with my guy walking into a wall no idea how long this has been going on. 5 minutes or an hour. No idea.

It's not possible to actually beat them in that amount of time. Whoever did it used console commands to teleport to locations and kill enemies and whatnot. Bitch nigga, not a real Fallout fan.

I will help a settlement if I actually see the message pop up and I am not already doing something but I always seem to fast travel into the middle of about 6 high level super mutants with heavy weaponry... On the companion/stealth thing, it can be an advantage to send your companion into combat zones while you stay in stealth, circling and picking off targets while they are taking care of your companion. Loads of 2x sneak attacks... Have pushed the story along a little further... 180 hours in and I've finally seen the Prydwen... have to head off to the Glowing Sea next... any advice? Can I take Cait with me and not have to worry about rads for her? Every deathclaw battle I have had so far has been piss easy... I either find myself in a position where they can't get to me or the AI glitches and they forget to go around a wall or tree... shooting galleries... Had to change up my guns because I was getting overpowered... I get rather attached to particular weapons so it was sad to relegate Fire and Ice to storage...

@Gunny: It's in the action commands, not the dialogue section. Highlight your follower, then aim where you want them to stay put (i.e., look down). You'll see four flashing arrows around the cursor point, and rather than Go or Investigate Radroach / Ammo Box or whatever, it should say Stay. The follower will stay put until you come back to them and tell them to follow you again. I usually get them to stay within or next to a safe house so I don't forget where they are. It also helps if you want them to stay out of earshot or out of the room if you're doing something they'll 'disapprove' of. Fuck you, McCready, I do what I want. I didn't spend much time with followers in Fallout 3/Skyrim, so this time around I'm trying to use it to my advantage, and get them to do more stuff for me. Mostly it's to get them to forage, or else flush out enemies up ahead.

I love seeing it when a guy goes Christmas shopping with absolutely no idea what to buy the misses, and has to get creative and pick their brain trying to figure out what she'd like... Inevitably it never works out to be something exciting or something she actually wanted, but it's funny to see it happen. Hell it's happened to me before. I thought i knew what i wanted, but when it gets to the week before Christmas, i had no idea. Did you get what you came for Firm, Other than a pint?
