Yeah I liked the score of RDR, it wasn't too obvious. In a word; subtle. It piqued your interest at key moments when you were out exploring the wilderness and accentuated the vast emptiness of the land. The few vocal tracks were just enough to highlight moments of emotional importance, the first time I crossed over the river into Mexico and that song started playing was pretty epic.

I plan, with the help of you all, to map RDR2's world based on screenshots and footage. We did it with GTA V and it turned out pretty accurate. Let's do it again! It's still too early to tell, and i might be barking up the wrong tree. But i have to start somewhere... And if we were to include that "leaked map", id' say it's somewhere in the heartlands. Although the river looks a lot more twisty, more like the one to the right of the map if i'm honest.

The soundtrack in RDR was an insanely huge contributing factor to the atmosphere and general feel of the game. How the drums and guitar picked up when guns started firing, to the subtle harmonica and flute when your slowly riding through tall trees. Even more so the few songs they picked to play during key moments of the story, I know for a lot of us those are the best parts of the game. So what do we expect from 2? Are Bill Elm and Woody Jackson returning this time around? Did you like the dynamic score? Discuss! I’ve also provided a link to my personally curated western playlist I’ve been working on for years, for your listening pleasure and to also provide ispiration. Playlist: Exodus in America

yea, let's go with that system ... since RDR2 isn't going to offer up vast microtransaction moments like GTAO did (my opinion), my guess is they might focus more on single player DLC this time... we had a discussion about this yesterday in the PSN chat, but i feel like R* could make more money off single player DLC than they ever would with RDRO... GTAV sold 80m copies, even if RDR2 sells half that, it makes $1.6b at $40/game... toss in a few DLCs at $20/ea and you've got yourself more money than shark cards ever made for you... keep RDRO pure with outfits and horses and new game modes... please leave shark cards out of it ...
