  1. Yeah you can also take the HDD out of the PS4 as well, which I'll switch out for an SSD instead ( that's if I can find a 500GB one somewhere ). Unlike the Xbox One which has a non-upgradeable HDD... And just like CapnMike, I always treat my console and game disks with care and haven't had any problems with my launch day PS3 yet.
  2. Bunch of slack-jawed proud americans around here...

  4. It depends on the calibre of the rifle, and what ammunition is being used ( as well as the cartridge it's chambered in ). 75mm Recoilless Rifles such as Anti Material Rifles/ Anti Tank Rifles, or .50 BMG Calibre Sniper Rifles such as a Barrett M82 or a McMillan Tac-50 would have enough power to cut a man in two ( and to a lesser extent blow their head clean off ). Warning Graphic Content ~ ^^^ Kind of like this ^^^
  5. I wonder what the dismemberment part refers too? I wish it was a major part of combat; for instance literally blowing someone's head off with a high powered rifle, or cutting a limb off with a Katana or Chainsaw ( hearing the NPC scream as the blood starts spraying everywhere ).
  6. I found an interesting Article on Gamespot ~ http://au.gamespot.c...ys-esrb-6413365 Players can get high in GTA V, says ESRB American ratings group listing shows players will experience nudity-free sexual encounters, drunk driving, and smoking pot. Grand Theft Auto V's listing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has revealed some of the various misdemeanors players will experience in the game, including nudity-free sexual encounters with a prostitute, drunk driving, and smoking pot. Spotted on Kotaku, the American ratings group has collated an extensive list (with some mild spoilers) of the open-world game's encounters with sex, violence, and drug use. "Players use pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, and explosives to kill various enemies (e.g., rival gang members); players also have the ability to shoot non-adversary civilians, though this may negatively affect players' progress as a penalty system triggers a broad police search. Blood-splatter effects occur frequently, and the game contains rare depictions of dismemberment." "In one sequence, players are directed to use various instruments and means to extract information from a character; the sequence is intense and prolonged, and it involves some player interaction (i.e., responding to on-screen prompts). "The game includes depictions of sexual material/activity: implied fellatio and masturbation; various sex acts that the player's character procures from a prostitute--while no nudity is depicted in these sequences, various sexual moaning sounds can be heard. Nudity is present, however, primarily in two settings: a topless lap dance in a strip club and a location that includes male cult members with exposed genitalia in a non-sexual context." "Within the game, TV programs and radio ads contain instances of mature humor: myriad sex jokes; depictions of raw sewage and feces on a worker's body; a brief instance of necrophilia (no nudity is depicted)." "Some sequences within the larger game allow players to use narcotics (e.g., smoking from a bong, lighting a marijuana joint); cocaine use is also depicted." Finally, "players' character can, at various times, consume alcohol and drive while under the influence" and "the words “f**k,” “c*nt,” and “n**ger” can be heard in the dialogue."
  7. The first cone I ever had was in High School when I was in Year 9 with some friends. We wagged ( ditched ) half of the day and went to one of the nearby parks getting a bottle from a shop nearby and burned a hole in it ( after emptying the contents ). Then we crammed a bit of Garden Hose we always carried around into the hole, and topping that off with the all important cone piece ( and burnt a shotty into the back of the bottle to make taking the dreds easier ). And partially filled the bottle with water. So we sat down on some crates that we stole out the back of the shops, and got to work chopping up the bud of marijuana my friend stole from his parents supply ( mixing it with a bit of tobacco ). Then we all took turns smoking a cone each, me being one of the last to get a turn ( the others had already been smoking for about a year/ and so went first ). So I end up lighting the cone all wrong ( burning myself in the process ), so one of my friends had to light it for me ( fucking embarrassing ). But eventually I draw the entire cone into my lungs in one breath, and release the shotty ( like I was shown ) and take all the dreds as well. After which they tell me to hold it in for 10 seconds. But with my lungs feeling like they were on fire I start coughing up all over the place. With my friends cracking up in the process. So at first I don't feel anything, and I have a second cone ( taking this one a little bit better than the last one ). And that's when I start feeling a little strange, with chills running up and down my spine and my friends voices having a bit of an echo to them when they spoke. Plus the bush we were surrounded by started looking different ( kind of abstract & blurry ). All of a sudden one of my friends ( a funny one ) said something I thought was hilarious ( although reflecting on it afterwards it wasn't even funny ), and I burst out laughing. But not just normal laughing, laughing harder than I have ever laughed before, to which all my friends respond by laughing along with me ( even though no one really knew what we were all laughing about ). It was so funny I was literally crying with laughter, and I felt better in that moment than I had probably ever felt before. So the first time was good. And some of the other times were even better, especially with the kind of shit you talk about when you're high ( talking about nothing ), or getting in adventures in the Housing Commissions in West Sydney/ Mount Druitt area ( they call them Projects in the US/ but the ones here are nowhere near as bad ). After I left school and moved house to get closer to my job ( to another part of Sydney ), I broke apart from my friends and haven't smoked weed or taken any drug since. But I still think about some of the good times I had when I was younger. I've taken Ketamine, Speed, Ecstasy, Coke, and Chronic/ Hydro Weed, and I think taking some drugs can make you look a things in a way you never would have ( especially when you mix the drugs ) compared to people that have never had the same experiences or thoughts as you ( normal people who have never touched a drug in their life ). I certainly took a closer look at myself and my life, and decided to try and change it for the better. But I wouldn't suggest extended use of drugs, it's better for experimentation when you're young. They can start to have a negative impact after a while.
  8. Maybe there are more submarines than the one we've seen in the screenshots. ( military ones/ purchasable ones etc ) I doubt that this ^^ is the only Submarine in the entire game...
  9. It depends on where you live. If you're in the US any Gamestop or Bestbuy will probably have one on Sept 17. I know EB Games sells them here in Australia ( because they asked me whether I wanted to pre-order it along with my GTA V PS3 copy ), also released alongside GTA V on Sept 17. And as for Britain, I don't know what game shops you guys have. But you can probably get the Guide on Amazon or any other Video Game Selling Sites ( like www.ozgameshop.com ).

    What about Australia?
  13. The Coast Guard is just an extension of the US Armed Services, so I'm sure that they have torpedos on their patrol boats. I don't know if they have submarines, but the US Navy sure has some. Too bad Rockstar said that the Army and Coast Guard weren't being incorporated into the "Wanted Level System" in GTA V...
  14. I want the ability to deploy underwater mines out of the back of my Submarine ~
  15. A special diving unit sounds plausible, but how would that work? In real life diving units are for searching missing people, so I doubt it would work in GTA. Except if it is the regular boating police that quickly puts on diving equipment If they had the Coast Guard come out at a 5 Star Wanted Level, maybe they could have a Patrol Boat which releases Depth Charges. Which are commonly used against submarines. These could then drift down towards your character and explode on contact.
  16. That makes me think. Will Police ( and Peds in general ) be able to swim? And if they can, can they dive under the water to follow you?........... And do the Police/ FIB have a specialist Dive Team ( or maybe even a Submarine ) to follow you underwater while you have a wanted level? If not, then how could they get to you while you're underwater? It could be an easy way of evading the police and their cones of vision/ line-of-site while in the Ocean/ Salton Sea or near the coast/ or a river. Also if Peds can swim, will this mean that there will be NPC's in the water at the beaches. Surfing or enjoying the waves, or maybe even doing a little bit of Windsailing? ( this would be a major detour from past GTA's/ where NPC's suffered from insta-death if they came into contact with anything more than ankle-deep water ) The new beaches could feel a lot more packed than the old ( Ghost ) GTA beaches ( especially in the water ) ~ I remember reading about Scuba Diving NPC's looking at a shipwreck in the May gameplay previews. This is after Trevor wakes up surrounded by Dead Bikers and takes a boat out onto the water and goes Diving ( seeing other scuba divers already at the wreck ). But does this mean NPC's can also hold their breath like the three protagonists can? Without the aid of an oxygen tank? And what kind of combat will there be underwater? Will there be melee combat? Will there be weapons that can be used underwater, such as spear-guns?
  17. Yeah I can't really comment when I'm still young and don't have any kids of my own. But I would say Family is definitely more important than making money.
  18. Wait till they've grown up a bit and/or left home, then put 5 - 7 years in working at one of the Mines. It will pay off in the end, when you've made some money and don't have to work anymore ( buy some shares or investment properties with any extra money you make/ then you can live off the income/ dividends & rent ).
  19. The mining jobs pay so well out West. That all you have to do is work for a decade and you're setup for life...
  20. Yeah and 75% of your workers come from the East Coast.
  21. Yeah that's pretty sad that only two locations in WA have Midnight Releases. But you have to remember that you're at the ass-end of the world. And aren't really all that important ...
