  1. I like bears too especially agressive koalas.so cute Koalas are not Bears. Trust me I know, I'm Australian.
  2. Driving through the jungle even off-road seems easy for me. I actually like the HUD, and haven't went off a cliff yet. What totally sucks is your recursive bow L0L. On the hunting missions, it takes like what 500 arrows to kill a leopard? Mine is fully modded as well, primo scope. It makes that funny downward video effect thing when it shoots. Got through the scarlet kimodo well enough, but it's not happening for the 4 leopards, with Hunter's Instinct or even Deadly Hunter. Maybe shooting up with "Untouchable" or "Touch of Death" syringes... Have all the weapons, all modded, and the signature weapons as well. *Those things rock* That bow is the only one I can't master.....what is the F*&*ing secret here dude? L0L can't wait until I figure it out, I bet it's something simple. Just cheat and take the Bull Shotgun with you on the Hunting Challenges. Everything usually dies from one shot up close anyway. But I like the idea of using the Recursive Bow, it sounds like a lot more of a challenge. But I don't know how it would work with the Warrior Dificulty level. 2 swipes from a Bear and your usually dead, and it takes an unholy amount of arrows to kill any of the predator animals. I haven't even started on the 'Path ofthe Hunter' missions yet, I've been to busy unlocking all the regular gear from hunting, climbing the Radio Towers looking for Relics and just generally exploring. I haven't even touched the Story Missions since the beginning of the game.
  3. Chloroform Rag sounds good. Also I read a Biography about a Mafia Hitman called 'The Iceman', and in the book one of the more ingenious methods he used to kill some of his targets was to put a fast acting poison in a spray bottle. He would then approach his target and spray them in the face with it. They would be dead before they even knew what hit them.
  4. The PS3 plays Blu Ray disks, so that means only one disk for GTA lV and it's two DLC's ( DLC or in the Game of the Year Edition ). So after inserting the Blu Ray disk you are given the option of which game you want to play. Which is either GTA lV with Nico as the playable character, The Lost and The Damned with Johnny, or The Ballad of Gay Tony with Luis. After choosing which game you want to play, which are all based in the same world of Liberty City ( with some subtle differences on Safehouses and such ). It's pretty easy then to just quit the current session and load up one of the other games which features a totally different protaganist. All of this is pretty comparable to GTA V's new 3 Main Protaganist Feature, and ofcourse I know there is more trouble switching between characters in lV then there will be in V. And the stories are more closely related/interlinked in V then just the cameo appearances of the other characters in cutscenes as in lV. But in the end both games end up having three playable characters existing in the same game world ( GTA lV Liberty City/ GTA V Los Santos ). I don't know how much clearer I need to be, to make my point about the comparison. What I'm saying here is that Rockstar are basically taking the 'Three Main Characters Feature' that was in GTA lV Game of The Year Edition, and implementing them into a single game ( GTA V ) without the need for DLC or seperate menus, and connecting the characters in a more intimate relationship structure. Which isn't new, but more of a fitting evolution of, and refinement from GTA lV's Liberty City and it's three characters stories told in that city. And lastly I am downplaying what Rockstar has shown us so far, because in my opinion the new heist mechanics seem a little bit underwhelming at the moment. And I feel since Rockstar have yet to release any past GTA ( or any game for that matter ) that is anywhere near underwhelming, that there has to be more than what they have shown us so far ( and there almost certainly is more to the game than we know about ). I don't know exactly what Rockstar's intention is with GTA V or what they're still hiding. But whatever/however it turns out to be, I hope that everyone will be satisfied with the end results. PS reply to JaimeMilne. I agree, having the map open from the beginning is a new feature, but I wouldn't say it's a welcome one. Having parts of the map blocked off from the beggining created a sense of mystery in the past GTA's as to what was beyond the barricades and 5 Star Wanted Levels. It was always satisfying ( to me at least ) to unlock different sections of the map one by one as I progressed through the story. Anyway this change isn't that big of a deal for me either. It ultimately won't change the gameplay for me in any meaningful way.
  5. I don't think you can be so certain about anything. I know it's pretty unlikely Rockstar would introduce another city so late in the game, but anything is possible. Either way I still think Rockstar is hiding a lot more important information then we think. So far they haven't revealed anything about GTA V that is truly game-changing and different from the previous GTA's. So whatever surprises they still have up their sleeves, we probably won't be seeing them untill the game is finally released. And I myself can't wait. you control three characters and can switch between them at any time that is different from previous gta's There were three main characters in GTA lV and it's Episodes and you could switch between them at anytime as well. So I state again, that we really haven't seen any major game-changing mechanics in the information released about GTA V yet. And I think that they're probably still hiding some major elements of the game till closer to the release date.
  6. I'm heading straight for Vespucci Beach, and then I'm driving right off the end of Pleasure Pier and into the water. Bailing from the sinking car, then going to look for some sharks to fuck with. When I find one I'm going to see if I can convice it to eat me by hitting it in the nose a couple of times. Hopefully I succeed in my attempts and Big Red Chunks start flying everywhere. And whoever the starting character is ( Michael, Trevor or Franklin ) starts screaming and hollering in agony until they are slowly dragged under the water, gurgling their last desperate breaths. Afterwards I will pause the game for a second, go outside and have a pleasant post-orgasmic smoke, hopefully feeling satisfied.
  7. There were subway stations in SA, and trains are already confirmed so it wouldnt be to much of a longshot to say that we'll see a system. Someone mentioned before that we might see handcuffs in place of rope, which would be pretty decent but would most likely eliminate the vehicle dragging :/ Yes to the handcuffs. It would also be nice if there were legcuffs for their feet as well, which could then be connected to the handcuffs by a chain ( like the Police use on aggresive people in custody ). With this and the ability to pick up the hogtied victim. You could then put them in the trunk of your car and take them somewhere else for further amusement. For instance some Train Tracks or a Shark Tank.

  9. I'm reading Total Recall; Arnold Schwarzenegger's Autobiography right now. It's a pretty good read, he's had a very interesting life up to this point.
  10. A B-2 is a great idea! especially if you could actually drop bombs on the NPC's below you. God, imagine if the game had a MOAB ( Mother of all Bombs and the Biggest Non-Nuclear Bomb the US has ), or imagine a 100 Megaton Nuclear Bomb dropped on Los Santos as well ( imagines the destruction and mayhem in the city ). Also maybe an Anti-Matter Bomb which could cancel out massive sections of the city. Or massive EMP's that short circuit all Police/Military Vehicles ( taking out cars/ jets/ helicopters/ tanks etc ). And yes to the rideable horses. It could be like Red Dead Redemption, only your in a modern day city ( Riding through subway tunnels, through the ghetto, running over sunbathers at Venice Beach )
  11. The other day I was watching a featurette in 'The Dark Knight's' Special Features. There was a part which focused on the sound effects in the movie, and how they wanted to ramp it up more than any other movie had ever done before. Some of which I think Rockstar should consider when approaching GTA V's sound design. For instance; remember the part where the joker climbs out of the overturned truck after the main chase sequence, and he starts firing his M 76 Sub Machine Gun at the cars. Here the sound department replaced the actual sound that the M 76 would make with that of an GAU-8 Avenger Minigun to maximise it's impact, and make The Joker seem like a more dangerous adversary when Batman charges him with the Batpod. Also the scene in which Bruce Wayne is recreating a fingerpint from the shattered bullet he took from the apartment with the dead cops. Where he uses the Auto-Firing Minigun on the targets, here they replaced the Minigun's normal firing sound with that of an Artillery Cannon. So basically all of this made every action in the movie that much more Aggresive and Dynamic, and gave every bullet fired more Impact and Resonance. This not only drew you further into the action but made it feel like it had a lot more purpose ( as opposed to a lot of other other mindless action movies, which have very little impact in their action scenes ). To me the sound design in video games like in movies, is very important. And if video games want to move forward and be taken seriously by the wider majority of people, guns need to start sounding more meaty and realistic, and less like the toy cap guns that they sound like now. Sound Design can make or break a game's success, just like it can a movies. I mean have you ever watched a movie or played a game with the sound muted, and evaluated the difference made. It's almost as bad as playing a game or watching a movie with your eyes closed. Yet people mostly stress that a game's visuals must be perfect, and think of the audio as secondary to it and less important. A game's sound has a massive impact on the overall experience you have. So I think this time around that Rockstar should be more focused on making GTA V's sound have more of an impact than the past iterations of GTA. They should really look for ways to make the in-game sound effects better, from Car Engines to Gun Fire, from Hand-To-Hand Combat to NPC Dialogue. I mean if they made their sound effects similar in impact to what the Sound Design Team did in 'The Dark Knight', GTA V could sound unbelievably good.
  12. I agree the Emergency Services Warning Lights should really light up the surrounding environment, especially at night. So you can see each individual strobe of coloured light move around the street, and the buildings. It would make the Vigilante and Abulance/ Firefighting missions more spectacular and immersive. Plus evading the police at night on foot would be harder if the police could illuminate the darkness with hood mounted search lights ( like they have in real life ). They should also probably use mag-light torches while in on-foot pursuits at night aswell.
  13. Why would you want to save a boat? All of them are the same and generic. If you ever needed to get a boat, just go and steal one. The only reason I could think of to have a save feature for boats, is if you could customize them. So sure, if you could customize the paint jobs and the body of your boat, plus maybe add a machine gun or something to the outboard, then maybe there would be a reason to have a save feature for boats. The only thing is GTA V will probably only feature car customization though. So it's probably a waste of time.
  14. There might be a chance for Submarines. Especially if Rockstar make the Sea Floor as detailed as the rest of GTA V's landscape ( with coral reefs, deep sea trenches, volcanic vents and all the sea-life filling in these areas ).
  15. What is Franklin, the other character's slave?............................ Oh Wait, that came out wrong. But seriously having him be the other character's little errand boy, would do Franklin's character development a major disservice. I mean come on, making his charcter inequal and subservient to Michael and Trevor would be a mistake that Rockstar would not make. Plus who would get Franklin's car if you were playing as him, Michael? Trevor? you wouldn't want one of your favourite character's running around doing menial jobs for a black man now would you. What a load of bullshit.
  16. I think they should have garages instead of parking spots, because like someone else posted ( - aceofspades327 & KnightOfKnightyKnightness ) they were very glitchy in GTA lV. With your cars going missing ( for unknown reasons ) and being rammed/bumped off the parking space by traffic. There should be different size garages for your safehouses, going from Single Lock-Ups ( for storing 1 car ) in your small House/Apartment Safehouses. Up to 2 Double Lock-Up Garages ( for storing up to 4 cars ) in your bigger Mansion or Warehouse type Safehouses. And as for worrying about keeping your favourite rides, without the risk of them being permanently destroyed/ lost. Maybe there should be a system where you can get Insurance for your car. So when you purchase it for the first time you can opt to pay money on a regular basis, or a bigger 'one time only' lump sum to Insure your car forever. So if it gets destroyed or lost you can just call up the Insurer on your in-game phone, and they will then provide you with a brand new ride delivered straight to your garage. Problem Solved. Edit: The extra money you would have to pay for the Insurance would make the game mechanic feel less cheap, compared to the unlimited amount of rides you are gifted in a game like Saints Row.
  17. What do you mean by a 'Stealth Car'? Do you mean like a car that uses Light Refraction Technolgy to become Invisible? Because that sounds pretty interesting.
  18. So you're buying the next Xbox and Playstation then, good on you if you can afford it.
  19. Are you Trolling or is English your second langauge ( if it is, no offence intended ).
  20. It's not Sony's fault that Bethesda is too lazy to code properly for both the Xbox and the PS3. Instead they developed Skyrim for the Xbox ( because the casual gaming machine would make them more money than the PS3 ), and then made a crappy port for the PS3. The Playstation 3 is a great system, but has a very unique setup ( hardware wise ), very different to the Xbox. If Bethesda had taken the time to code properly for the PS3 version, and had actually paid people to test the PS3 version for bugs. Then Skyrim's memory saving issues wouldn't of been a problem for the PS3 ( whose problem was it's divided memory pools ). Don't blame Sony for any problems that you had, lay the blame where it belongs, with Bethesda. In the future it won't matter as much because Sony said there will be more 'Developer Friendly' creation tools for Playstation's next incarnation ( the PS4 ), plus the hardware would be improved upon ( meaning they had learned their lesson about dividing the memory banks in their system ). All of this will make the PS4 easier to code for, and make cross-platform games not as much of a problem as they were in this generation of consoles ( where the PS3 had a lot of crappy ports ).
  21. What are these new era gangs that exist today that didn't exist in the 90's?( San Andreas was set in the 90's ) How is LA and it's street gangs different Today from how they were in the 90's? I'd like to know, since I've done a lot of research into the matter. Research that others don't seem to have done, yet they still make unfounded statements that colour gangs don't exist on the same level that they did in the 90's. Let me just say that they are more numerous today than they ever were in the 1990's.
  22. I was the only person in my year at school that wore black socks, everyone else mostly wore white. I myself hate the colour white ( especially on clothing ) and prefer darker clothing like black ( even though I'm not a goth/emo or whatever ). A friend of mine came up to me and said hey BlackSox, and I replied What?! He then pointed out that it was odd that I wore different socks to everyone else, and asked me why. I replied that I didn't really know ( even though I did ). A little later I had a think about what he had said and it struck me that he was right. I eventually ended up deriving a deeper meaning from the interaction with my friend. The meaning was - That my black socks were different and that they were symbollic of my difference to other people. Not only in appearance ( the black socks ), but also in my perspectives and views ( which were different to the majority of people I knew ). So basically even though everyone is different to one another, I have always felt seperated from most people. In that my thought processes and views have always been very different and usually opposed to the majority of people in the society I live in. So my black socks were like a representation of that feeling of seperation from most people. Since High School I have used it on every username I've ever created. Along with the 9 which is my surperstitiously lucky number.
  23. Already Pre-ordered it. Just waiting for it to release.
  24. How about a Ghost Busting Side Mission/ Activity, where you go around the city capturing ghosts. You get the car once you've finished all the missions and maybe a weapon like the Proton Gun as well:
