  1. I think Rockstar has changed a lot of the location names that were in San Andreas. This will be a very big game with Los Santos divided up into different areas, each with their own style and feeling like a big Santa Monica, a big Downtown Area, a big Cholla Springs Area, a big Long Beach, big San Diego etcetra etcetra. And of course there will be a massive wilderness area, probably twice as big as Red Dead Redemption's Map. ( This is just an Educated Guess but ).
  2. Yeah but he got the name partially right on one of the locations. He called it Vespucci Beach, when the artwork found by Br1ns4n called it Vespucci Canals. I think he might of seen some very early development ideas, some of which have been changed between then and now.
  3. wooden bats would be a cool change from the aluminum ones, also does he looks more hispanic then black? or is that just the way the light from the sun is on him? Yeah you're totally right. He looks like a mixture of Black and Latino.
  4. They aren't Jaguars, they are Cougars. And yes they are a pain in the ass because they kill your horse in one strike, are as fast a lightning, and are almost completely silent when sneaking up on you. They're also very hard to see in long grass, and usually stalk/attack you from behind. If you're lucky your horse will Whiny because it knows a pedator is near by and is scared, giving you a small warning before they attack.
  5. You're shitting me after all I said you're going to get a Shitbox. Bloody Hell, we lost another one here!!!
  6. What are you playing for the beginning of 2013 before GTA V comes out?
  7. Where did this guy get this shit? Some of the things he suggested will be in-game in GTA V sounded very plausable, and others like bullshit. Can't wait for the GI info in a week!!!
  8. Yeah I know, I'm trying to reassess my expectations, for all future games. So I'm trying not to expect anything more out of GTA V other than GTA lV in Southern Cali with slightly better graphics and a different story. So if Rockstar does any better then this I'll be happy.
  9. also, GTAIV driving physics made for one of the greatest sandbox experiences ever... GTAIV kicked ass, and people that compare it to san andreas are spending too much time in the past... get with the times, old man... GTA San Andreas only came out in 2004, that's hardly ancient. Plus it's important to compare present games to their predecessors, both to improve in-game features and mechanics after each installment and to make sure each sequel builds upon the base laid in previous titles. Otherwise we end up with worse games with less features. Games that don't evolve, let alone revolutionize the industry. I don't want stagnation, so I really hope GTA V expands upon GTA lV's base like Vice City and San Andreas built upon GTA lll's base. GTA lV although a great game, was a little bit of a dissapointment. But this was probably due to my expectations being a little to high ( they were massive! ).
  10. Ahh, O.K you musn't look at gaming sites like IGN and Gamespot let alone have a subscription to Gaming Magazine's like Game Informer or Hyper. It's a First Person Shooter in a very broad sense of the definition, with some RPG elements thrown in. Your main weapons are Firearms you can upgrade and things called Plasmids which let you activate powers. You can hold a weapon in one hand and a plasmid in the other and can use both on the fly in a battle with the very intelligent and dangerous enemies they have in these games ( the main one in the previous ones where the Big Daddies and Big Sisters, in this one it is Songbird but there will also be other interesting enemies ). I would like to explain the story and setting's basis but that would be difficult. So I'll leave it for you to look up. Let me just say it's very interesting and has multifaceted gameplay. I would suggest playing the previous two games, but you probably wouldn't have the time or the inclination.
  11. Fair enough, but if you see Bioshock Infinite get reviews of 9 or over, I'll probably be right in my assumption that it's a great game. Plus you don't need to be a hardcore gamer to appreciate Bioshock for what it's worth, a very fun experience. That said, the first Bioshock is a classic game and still very worth a look. Bioshock 2 was very solid aswell even though it didn't quite capture the first game's originality ( it's a sequel in the same setting but ). And this is the most ambitous Bioshock yet in a new setting. If you like great visuals, experimental gameplay, interesting dialogue, an interesting story, intelligent enemies, an interesting world to explore than you just might like Bioshock Infinite. I'm pretty sure it will be a very solid game, and very worthy of a purchase.
  12. You mean 2012 right yes i meant 2012! haha. I'm not a big gamer though, I'll buy usually maybe 3 games a year at most. Out of your list, I'll prob be buying; Assassins Creed 3, Hitman, NFS most wanted, and Black Ops 2 maybe, can't be bothered with another call of duty game to be honest. and I'll definitely be buying WWE 13, cause I'm a big wrestling fan lol. next year I'll prob buy Tomb raider, and when I can afford a new pc, I'll buy one to play the new Sim City lol. and then after that the only other two games that interest me so far next year are GTA V, and The Last of Us. If you're getting a new PC, I suggest you pick up Rome 2 when it comes out next year. Because it will probably end up being one of the best games of 2013 ( other than GTA V ofcourse ). Plus no offence but I don't get why anyone would like wrestling. It seems like a Soap Opera in Men's Tights, very fake and boring ( also slightly homo-erotic ). I also don't understand why you would pick up a repetitve brawling game over all the Grade A Shit that's coming out soon. I mean how could you get WWE 13 instead of Bioshock Infinite?
  13. The Poll is kind of retarded, because there is not going to be a GTA released this year ( 2012 ). But next year I hope it beats MW4, because I can't see Activision doing anything really different with COD. At least not until the next generation of consoles comes out. And on the subject of Black Ops 2, I think it will be a solid game, even if it doesn't reinvent the franchise it will still have new zombie maps for the original survival mode aswell as a zombie co-op campaign and zombie 4v4 multiplayer ( one of the best things about Black Ops 1 was Zombies ), and a new tactical/strategy meta game called strike force missions. The Singleplayer looks pretty average, but I already knew it was going to be mediocre ( It only lasts a couple of hours anyway, so not a big deal ). Then there's the multiplayer which looks pretty average aswell, but that's O.K I'm alright with some basic additions as long as it feels somewhat different and is still fun to play. The 'Pick 10 System' looks interesting and like there will be some room for experimentation with different loadouts, and seeing which ones work for different maps and modes. Taken individually these new features might not look revolutionary, hell they might not even look evolutionary ( like a small change ). But when they are combined with all the orginal elements ( Singleplayer / Multiplayer / Original Zombies ) and added in together with these 3 new modes. When you take it as a whole, this game becomes a real value for money product with potentially 100's of hours of fun gameplay. This is probably why past COD's have sold so well, and why this game will do the same. Because if a kid only has one choice of a game they can get for christmas, not only will they get the same game all their friends are playing ( COD ) they will get the one with the best value for money ( in how much gameplay they can get from it ). So with Single Player, Strike Force Missions, a Zombie Co-Op Campaign, Zombie 4v4 Multiplayer, Zombie Survival Mode ( the original Zombies ), and the massive Multiplayer Black Ops 2 will be a Gigantic game and very worthy of a purchase. In my opinion.
  14. O.K here are the few great games that have just come out or will come out before GTA V: ~ Just come out or coming soon: Boderlands 2, Dishonoured, XCOM Enemy Unknown, Assassin's Creed 3, Halo 4, Black Ops 2, Hitman Absolution, Far Cry 3, NFS Most Wanted. ~ And coming early next year: Bioshock Infinite, Aliens Coloniel Marines, God Of War Ascension, Devil May Cry, Tomb Raider, MGS Revengeance, Dead Space 3, South Park The Stick of Truth. So as you can see there isn't much to keep you busy. Also next year there is Splinter Cell Blacklist, Crysis 3, Gears of War Judgement, Beyond Two Souls, Sim City, Rome 2, and Metro Last Light just to name a few.
  15. What the hell are you on about. I've got a great connection and the PS3's Online is exceptional ( and free to boot! ). This is why you should buy a PS3 over an Xbox: ~ PS3's Blu Ray is better than Xbox's HD DVD bullshit ( so you don't need four bloody disks for massive games like GTA/ just one bluray disk and a hardrive install ). ~ PS3 has a bigger and better exclusive games library than Xbox ( 10 times better in my opinion, and there are more great games coming soon ). ~ Like I said Free Online, and unlike what alot of misinformed Xbox Fanboys say about the PS3 I have an exceptional online and a fast download speed. Also Playstation Plus is definitely better than Xbox Gold, because you get 45 free A grade games a year, Free Full-Game 1hour Demos for all new games, Auto Updates, Free online Storage, etc, etc. ~ PSN has a better online community than Xbox Live ( even though it still has some assholes ). ~ Playstation 3's have a much lower failure rate compared to Xbox 360's, and Sony has better technical support compared to Microsoft ( who couldn't give a shit about their customers after they've gotten their money ). ~ Playstion has larger hardrive models than the Xbox ( even though you can upgrade these after anyway ). ~ Xbox Controllers need constant new batteries for them, whereas a Dualshock contoller is rechargeable through the USB ( and can last the entire life of your PS3 ). Plus there is a reason the playstation controller hasn't changed that much over 3 generations. And that is because of it's great design making it good on games of all genres ( from fighting games to driving games/ from platforming games to shooting games ). The Xbox contoller's niche is for casual gamers who usually only play shooters, and therefore prefer the Xbox Contoller's Triggers. But it's subpar when playing games from different genres. Just a few reasons on why you should own a PS3, from an unashamed Playstation Fanboy.
  16. I agree killing the good cop antagonist. How about the good cop at the end lets you walk away and as soon as he turns his back you whistle and say some epic line and then shoot the cop. Unload a whole clip with multiple Head shots. The Antagonist shouldn't be a GoodGuy, otherwise it takes away any satisfaction you might have gotten when you finally take him down. Unless you're Evil.
  17. Wrong!!!!! Sorry but you spelt PS3 Dualshock Controller Wrong. well to each their own. I've tried using my ps3 controller with my pc, but it never acted right. So I went and bought an xbox controller since I dont own an xbox. Was plug and play, controls worked without any set up. Even though I much prefer ps3 over 360, the triggers and joysticks do have better feel then ps3. To each their own, I guess. But I still love my Dualshock Controller. Could never quite get used to the Xbox one, it felt like an uncomfortable lightwieght brick in my hands, too fat with the joysticks in the wrong place and not symmetrical like the PS3. And everyone say's that the triggers are better for FPS , but I've never had any trouble with owning all other players in Battlefield/COD/Killzone etc. with my PS3 Controller. Getting MOABS and hearing the other team bitch about how I must be cheating, and getting fanmail after the match from the team I beat singlehandedly. Good Times.
  18. Yeah, I like the multiple Antagonist idea, plenty of interesting and varied badguys. Because let's face it Badguys are more interesting than Goodguys, just look at The Joker and Batman.
  19. No Offense, but Fuck That Shit! No common ground and No mercy should be given by either the Protaganist or the Antagonist. I want the Antagonist dead, I want his family dead, I want his friends and associates dead, If he has pet's, I want them dead as well. Then after him and everyone he knows and loves is dead I'm going to go and piss on his gravestone.
  20. Wrong!!!!! Sorry but you spelt PS3 Dualshock Controller Wrong.
  21. I like my current setup (although I'm upgrading monitor soon) and don't have room for a huge tv. That and my current computer chair is quite comfortable and to buy a console for a single game I might not enjoy (depends on if its too realistic like GTA IV) would be daft. I play majority of games on PC and almost always they're better. Chances are the monitor I'll have by then will be better than the screen you have. Pro tip: A screen isn't better because it's bigger. I myself only play strategy games on the PC like Starcraft and Total War, because 1 they're PC Eclusive and 2 even if they weren't you really need a keyboard and mouse to control everything effectively. Sometimes I will play other games on the PC ( but if I do I usually use a gamepad ). For games where you will be driving a car/boat/plane/helicopter, like in GTA the keyboard/mouse setup doesn't feel right to me. So i'll sacrafice the better graphics of the PC, for the better feeling and control I have when playing on a console.
  22. I thought that when I first saw it on the newswire. Maybe cause of the leak going wide they just decided to announce it. ^^Same^^
  23. We don't know that for sure. I hope you're right about that, but I doubt it. Either way Rockstar said they are making their most ambitous GTA to date, so I'm pretty certain it will be great. Whatever the end result is.
