  1. Destiny is set seven hundred years into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting. In a universe where humans had spread out and colonised planets in the Solar System, an event known as "the Collapse" saw the mysterious dissolution of these colonies and left mankind teetering on the brink of extinction. The only known survivors of the Collapse are those living on Earth, who were saved by "the Traveler", a white, spherical celestial body whose appearance centuries before had enabled humans to reach the stars.The Traveler now hovers above the last remaining human city, and its presence allows the "Guardians of the City"—the last defenders of the human race—the ability to wield an unknown power.

    Upon mankind's first attempt to repopulate and reconstruct after the Collapse, it is discovered that hostile alien races have occupied mankind's former colonies and civilizations. The player takes on the role of a Guardian of the City, and is tasked with investigating and destroying these threats before humanity is completely wiped out by them. Via the Wikipedia.

    Bungie is possibly my favorite developer and I'm pretty sure this game is going to be awesome. There's also a PS4 trailer if you guys are into that sort of thing. It's been confirmed for 2013 release and will be on PS3 and 4 and the 360, not yet confirmed for the 720 which is a really stupid name by the way. Also Paul McCartney is helping compose some of the music.

  2. they are going with what i said... did none of you read or watch the videos i posted from IGN??

    Nope.

    The Abstergo guy will probably change his mind about the Assassins, after living ones life, and betray Abstergo then you have your new modern protagonist.

    Anyone else think Kenway kind of looks like Boromir?

  3. AC1 is the best.

    I thing AC2 is still the best but AC1 is second, the gameplay often was repetitive which brings it down a little for me. Also, Desmond looked the coolest in that one. He slowly started looking weirder as the series progressed.

    I'm sure this one will still have a modern day protagonist with the new objective being to stop Juno. But it wouldn't be too surprising if they decided to go with something like bOnEs said.

  4. I didn't know that could kill them. One of my favorite video game moments was while playing Conflict Desert Storm, I shot a tank with a sniper and it blew up. My friend really just shot it with a rocket but I didn't see that. He let me believe for 10 years that I blew it up with a sniper.

  5. @Truth

    Really? So was mine, did yours participate in any cool battles? I know mine took place in Operation Overlord and was in the Battle of the Bulge.

    @GunSmith117

    I remember that game, I think my dad bought some 5 dollar copy of it when he was in Kuwait but it never worked.

  6. Any other fans of the series? I don't think a lot a people have played them but all three games are really good and I definitly recommend checking them out *cough* pirate bay *cough*. This is the first scene of the first game. Skip to 0:40.

    It's a world war two game where the player plays at Sgt. Matt Baker of the 502nd Regiment of the 101st Airborne. The first two games have to do with the early parts of D-Day such as securing Caratean and St. Seavuer, the latter being the 82nd Airbornes objective. The game stresses effectiveness of fire and maneuver tactics and the Four F's (Find 'em, Fix 'em, Fank 'em, Finish 'em). You usually are given 2 squads of 1-3 guys each to complete your objectives.
