  1. Judges were complete shit last night. Firstly Diaz/Bendo I had Bendo winning the fight but not the way the judges did but his point fighting is becoming ridiculous. He's a talented guy but has too much of a "go to decision" gameplan, getting a bit like GSP. No way Bendo was flawless in that fight, period, and I'm surprised I wasn't the only one who though it. Sherdog was lit up with the same. Checked /sp/ and some thought Bendo didn't take it flawlessly (maybe I'm wrong and he did but 50-43?). But fuck, the diaz brothers need to get a gameplan. The game plan seems to be walk forward and take everything on the chin while try to knock them out. They don't change it either. Nick kept doing it even when Condit kept running and Nate seemed to give up too easy on the toe holds he had. BJ Got his shit wrecked, and yet one judge scored every round 10-9. They could've EASILY been 10-7 rounds. And then Shogun fight was odd too. I had him winning round 1 minimum, and many others agreed, Round 2 and 3 are up in the air. I think Takedowns have too much weight in scoring, but definately not a 30-27/6 fight at all.
  2. Round 1: Shoguns submission attempts and slightly better striking edge him the round Round 2: Shoguns 10,000 haymakers over a few ineffective takedowns Round 3: Obviously Gus SHOGUN WAS ROBBED Decision (unanimous) (30-27, 30-27, 30-26) (for MacDonald) Seriously, 30-27's when he clear won Round 1, and even a 30-26. Cecil Peoples and Co. were clearly in Judging attendance tonight. Especially when Gustaffson grabbed the fence.
  3. Prelims have been crazy so far. The Nam Phan fight was scored 30-26, 30-25, 30-24! Edit: Yves Edwards is a beast. Just a shame he really started gathering steam so late in his career.
  4. First of Decembers big cards tomorrow anybody watching? Bendo/Diaz - I want Diaz to win but I think Henderson is going to aggressive lay and pray him to a 5 round UD, ofc aparantly Nate has some decent jiu jitsu so it may be a bit of a challenge for Henderson. Shogun/Gustaffson - Shogun because I think he's a better all round fighter and is motivated now. Penn/McDonald - Penn is back in a big way. Think he might struggle at stand up but if he can take him down he has the fight in his hand. Swick/Brown - Swick has some serious rust on him and Brown is unstoppable at the moment.

    Fallout

Is there a Map maker for Fallout 3/new vegas at all?
  6. The pinnacle of prepper bullshit came on S04E04 of doomsday preppers. Firstly, dude is prepping side by side with another family, unfortunately he HIMSELF states he finds his fellow prepper to be a little odd (he is fucking weird, would expect him to shoot the ranch they're bugging to on). Secondly theres a scene where this "pro" prepper has his friend shoot his rifle with a special barrle in a small enclosed area, aparantly he's surprised when it's LOUD AS FUCK and gives him temperary deafness, and begins whinging about it. He sounds a dead ringer for Peewee Herman and begins crying that he cant prep with the other guy. All the while the voice over states his ear protectors werent enough (so ergo he wasnt prepared?). Then in the end he decides to give in and continues to prep with him. The guy was a total noob when it came to safety.
  7. I'd like a big SUV like that one day
  8. Probably an amalgamation of the following: I have Hyde's laid back approach to life but I do get quite angry at times (and at times his habit), but I have the social anxiety of Abed, and when comfortable, the humor of Ken.
  9. Box art is always Black background with Logo until they get a real box art done. There are the ones which are one piece of art with the logo but those are promo items only.
  10. I dont understand it? I hear a good chin is something to do with neck muscle, do you just lose it overtime or all of a sudden like chuck?
  11. Junior Dos Santos is nasty. Don't think his chin is ever going to go and the guy is extremely well rounded. He'll out box anybody and has killer jiu jitsu. Not on the level of someone like Demian Maia but he can use it and defend it. I think either Velasquez is going to come back and wreck his shit or he's reigning then retriring with the belt. If Velasquez can't beat him I don't think anybody can. With Liddell and Franklin it was the chin that went. Liddell suddenly stopped being able to take the strong punches he used to walk through and Franklin went out like a light after what was relatively a passing glance. Forrest Griffins's has been going ever since UFC 101 against Silva. He went out on a passing shot and Bonnar's is up in the air because of the roids scandal.
  12. The biggest hole is MAKING YOURSELF KNOWN. These guys give away where they live, where everything is and who they are. I'd wear a balaclava, have the outside of my house not shown and my voice masked.
  13. Essential Watching: Doomsday Preppers Doomsday Bunkers {Preppers but for 1%ers. basically rich motherfuckers buy bunkers and it shows how they're made, not as good but still worth watching} After Armageddon ("Specialists" talk about an influenza pandemic that dramatically lowers the populace, causes marauders etc, basically fallout, with a nice story inbetween following a family involved) Apocalypse Man (Former marine and survival dude shows how to survive in urban environment) Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura
  14. It's the shit mobile from Trailer Park Boys
  15. Look at that head. You just know it's bursting with his ego. The guy tended to tone it down towards the end of his career (the douchebaggery). It wasn't really his chin that went, he just started to be overwhelmed because he was really champ when UFC had a bunch of guys that hadn't really crosstrained (obviously they had, but people like the lions den and guy mezger put emphasis on submission training and when up against Tito were overwhelmed by his fairly strong chin and ground and pound). Then Randy and Chuck came along who had exactly what he had but better and with good wrestling and sprawl. Then the new guys came around who had crosstrained and continued to wreck his shit. There was the grave digging incident (he won one fight in four years for christ sake. He was hardly making a comeback). But then he had all the opportunity to be a dick when Matt Mitirione said something about his girl and he kinda reacted maturely about it. That and he isn't the bitter "I could take any of these new fighters" kinda retired guy. He seems to like Jon Jones and think's he's going to be the one who breaks his title record. And mentionable before that he had the TUF 3 thing where he actually trained his fighters while Ken had them do ridiculous shit. Not going to pardon him for all the douchebaggery before but I think he realized he didn't have it anymore and chilled out a little.
  16. I think my favourite fight of all time is probably Liddell vs Ortiz I, purely because It was the first fight I ever watched (to my recollection) Liddell was the man, wrecked Tito's shit. I have fights I find hilarious though. I watched Kimbo Slice vs James Thompson in EliteXC recently and what a joke. Thompson decided to show up with a piece of granite for a chin on the night he shouldn't have,
  17. Never seen him fight. More mortified I didn't realise that was Fedor who caught him with the flying armbar.
  18. That image reminds me (I don't even think its the same guy though) Velasquez/Dos Santos II ... Bendo vs Diaz
  19. December looks to be a good month. UFC on Fox 5, UFC on FX 6, UFC 155, the TUF 16 Finale, two bellator events. All of which probably minus TUF 16 finale have stacked beyond recognition cards (and even then Nelson is probably gonna punch the face off Carwin)
  20. He takes a whole lot of shit (just in the octogon) and doesn't progress at all. Almost ten years later and he still cant defend a triangle. Holy shit, what a beating:
  21. I like Sonnen (I use that term loosely) He's a bit of a dissapointment at times. His shit talking is great and his wrestling ability is fantastic but for all the crap he's talked recently he hasn't been worth it. After Silva/Sonnen I he ramped it up into over drive and then got thrashed by in the second round. He's doing it now with bones and I doubt he'll get far considered Jon actually has good wrestling defence. TUF will be fun to watch though. I predict an amalgamation of Rashad/Rampage and Liddell/Ortiz. Sonnen should move to WWE. The guy would be a killer heel and has wrestling ability to put on a believeable show.
  22. I love the Diaz brothers but I think Bendo is going to go into point scoring mode to win it. He's played it a bit too safe recently for my liking. Ever since the Pettis "flying jump kick" shit really. Shogun I'm finally starting to re-like and with the beat down he gave Vera. he kinda blew ass after he came to UFC from Pride but is getting back into his stride. Oh, and super dissapointed the whole "best performance from Shogun or Machida gets the shot" thing didn't come to fruition. Chael Sonnen didn't deserve the fight after just joining the LHW ranks and coming off a terrible defeat. Now Machida has to fight Hendo and god knows what Shogun has ahead of him.
