  1. Honestly I don't think they'll ever get better than Tom Baker or Paul McGann (The doctor in the 1996 Movie, controversial I know) as the doctor.

That and I wonder what they're going to do when after the person playing doctor who after Matt Smith quits because a timelord can only regenerate 12 times...

Edit: and Smith might even be the 12th regenration depending on how you look at Brain of Morbius

  2. What was shown at E3 was running on a (high end) PC.

Needless to say my mouth has been watered. I haven't been this excited for a PC game in a long time, although some recent games have tickled my balls (DotA2, GW2 etc)

  3. Theory: March 2013, Rockstar release the final trailer and the release date for the game. Stocks jump as Take Two predicted.

It isn't as cut and dry as the game will release then.

Although I don't understand why it is illegal to predict something very realistic and then the IPO falls on its ass through no fault of the companies and shareholders can sue. It can happen.

  4. If they have another achievement like auf wiedersehen petrovic....

Piece of piss until the multiplayer died.

The ability to use turbos/ rapid fire controllers and mods, the crappy graphics from the lost and damned and the depressing ones from gta iv.

I can't honestly see why turbo controllers could cripple a game for you (either as a single player or somebody using it online). It isn't the kind of game where button mashing gets you places, nor can I see the omission of mods. They made a one time playthrough game (IV) far more fun, and if somebody could explain how the graphics in BOGT were radically different to TLAD and IV I'd be thankfully.

  5. I move north... again. I regret being in fucking Italy. Should've parked my ass in the middle of the map.

Just move me as north as possible in my turn, I don't give a shit about the surrounding territories.

Being in the center is bad, you take attacks from all fronts.

I only really have one front at this moment in time.

  6. do you guys in europe actually enjoy the london game we play once a year over there?? the NFL says it's a huge hit... i actually kinda miss the watching the NFL europe league, they closed the league about 5 or so years ago...

Yes, American Football is vaguely massive here (when we can actually watch it). We get the superbowl for free which isn't too bad and if you were to come here right now you'd see tonnes of NFL logo snapbacks, but that's mainly because its a fashion right now.

  7. hard 1 this. went with gta3 as it was the first gta game i ever played. i remember playing that game so much i deleted my brothers files so i could replay the game from scratch!!! also ther were 2 london gta's and weres tlad and tbogt???

GTA London and GTA Four are just umbrella terms. 1969 and 1961 weren't all that different and neither were TLAD or TBOGT

  8. Alot of people say PC's are too expensive and you HAVE to upgrade. Bullshit, I'm using a 5770 from late 2009, and I theorise it wont struggle to run games (if I were to have actually balanced my PC and not got a poorer CPU but a better GPU) until 2014, almost as long as a console generation, and I'dve only paid £500 iirc.

You don't have to pay a bomb to get good performance. Use the falcon guide and you're kosher.

  9. I have a question for Cynatist, If i replace parts in a laptop (Dell XPS 15) with much better quality parts, would it be good for gaming. One of ym friends who builds computers says it's a waste to rebuild a laptop and I should just get a desktop.

Don't even bother attempting upgrading a laptop. a few scenarios could happen

    A. You buy a desktop part and that just down right will not fit

    B. You buy a laptop part (if they even exist) and you get a minimal performance boost

    C. You buy a laptop part and it requires soldering (and it's all BGA soldering too)

    D. You get it in by some miracle and your temps are shit.

Adding a graphics card into a laptop is not easy, and upgrading a laptop period is expensive and difficult. On most laptops ram and the hard drive is easy to upgrade (two seperate bays accessible by phillips head screws) and few have a bay to give access to the CPU, which makes upgrading the CPU easier.

I'd advise you build a desktop. Use the falcon guide as a guide to buying the parts, but buy an anti static wristband too if its your first time and watch a few videos on youtube. Building a PC is stupidly easy.
