  1. ^That's pretty much what I remember about jailbreaking Apple products. People were pissed at all the limitations so they jailbroke them to make them better, not just get free things.

Necro reply but uh - It's alot like Jtagging, originally created for amateur development purposes unfortunately a side effect is it enables piracy.

  2. Yeah you're going to need a new case and power supply.

The fans in there are probably 92mm fans, they are louder and do the job but there just aren't enough for a high power and high temp card like the 6850, the 6850 may fit in that case but it'll be a hell of a squeeze with the cables and it'll have poor temps, I recommend a Mid tower case. I don't know if its BTX yet, which would make the transition quite difficult (and a new ATX PSU probably wouldn't work with the mobo at all.)

I'll try find out if its BTX.

  3. Just a few questions:

Is the 6850 compatible with my motherboard? (I'm assuming so because it's x16 PCI-Express, right?)

How do I find out about my power supply?

Could my computer overheat with the new graphics card?

Post your model/specs and I'll check the mobo.

You're going to have to drop in a new power supply because it'll be 300W max. I recommend a 600W minimum incase you take it to maximum load, I've overloaded a fair few times and my gear is lower end.

About the case, We could have a situation,

    A. It'll likely be very small and your temps will be quite poor, probably two fans in the case but they'll be tiny and very loud.

    B. Dell for a long time used the BTX standard, as such you cant just drop BTX mobo's and such into new cases, however im unsure if they use it anymore, If you are looking at the computer from the front (where the power button is) which way does it open to get at the components? If left, you have an ATX mobo and everything should be kosher, if right side it's BTX and you're probably shit out of luck.

  4. An item I shipped 3 days ago second class I just received feedback for, opposed to this I still don't have feedback or a message from an item shipped two weeks ago, Lost in transit or lazy as fuck?

Real pain in the ass as I have rare DVD's i'd like to sell but at 2 feedback It'd be a waste of time to even list.

  5. AMD Radeon HD 6850

Good card. Look up a few benchmarks and compare it with other models such as the 6990 before buying to make sure you get exactly what you want. I run a late 2009/Early 2010 card (5770) and because I did my research (bought it March 2011) I got a great card that still performs well, other people bought cards without doing research and it turned out to be a big pile of trash.

  6. Just heard that 2K Games (Rockstar Czech) have delayed their October release of Bioshock Infinite (or something) has now been delayed to February 2013 apparently due to GTA V.

Source on the GTA V part? Games are delayed all the time, it's pretty common for a game to be delayed, that and a massive (five months!) delay would point towards it being less of not wanting to have too many releases at once and more of "We aren't on schedule for the release date"

Oh and the developer is "Irrational Games", never heard of 2K Czech or Rockstar Czech

  7. I've liked it so far, It just seems to have a few lazy assholes, that said though I would like to be able to restrict who can bid on my stuff when I get a good amount of feedback, can I set it so only people with 50 feedback or above can bid?

  8. Are people on eBay deadbeats when it comes to leaving feedback?

I've had four people, as far back as the 25th where I've dispatched there item but no feedback or message as to whether they've got it.

That and people who snipe in the last 30 seconds but don't pay up until 4 days later? Fucking ridiculous.

  9. Anything that is considered or said to be leaked, confirmed, known by someone, etc. is all bullshit. R* is possibly the tightest lipped company when it comes to games, and people need to realize that before they flip over every new thing with leak or something next to it.

You haven't heard of Rare clearly. Barely any prototypes make it out, and currently a person is offering $15k for an unreleased game of theres and nobody has come forward, either highly secretive or nobody has it

  10. It was included in Manhunt 2( maybe first one, I'm not sure)

Yeah the shadows were the focal point of the games stealth, if you were seen you could run round a cover and into a shadow and you'd become invisible practically you could also bang on the walls to lure them in yet be invisible too (unless they were right infront of you in which case they would detcted it) practically identical to Manhunt 2 however Manhunt 2 built upon it by having to steady your breathing.

  11. I recently replayed Manhunt, last time I had completed the game being 2006. I had totally forgotten how crazy this game was. Am I the only one that began to lose their sanity as the game progressed?

The difficulty on hardcore the reasoning for that? I played it for 32 hours straight my first time on hardcore because I sucked dick at hardcore mode, Fetish was a walk in the park though.

I replayed through the second one recently on the Insane difficulty (only had beaten it on Sane before) and got both endings. That game is just tragic, truly one of the biggest dissapointments Rockstar have ever given us, stealth seems to go right out the window towards the back end of the game. Compare that to the first game where if you didn't maintain stealth you were dead meat.

Can manhunt play on the 360

Buy it for PC, it'll run better and the plethora of mods make it worthwhile.

  12. im confused by ur question bcos cod always sucked??? also ofc cod will beat gta, there are just too many nine year olds in the world dat lik linear fps. not enough 14 year olds dat lik roleplaying 2 be sociopath assassin :(

Call of Duty hasn't always sucked. The first is still one of the best FPS' to this day and has a nice underground niche community. 2 was great and 4 was even better. I don't remember 3 but it was downhill after 4, I didn't like GTA IV (mainly because of the poor buggy PC release and then the realism) and probably didn't put an 8th of the hours into it that I did San Andreas and I hope V sees a departure from the realism.

I can already tell you V won't be departing from realism that's all included in the euphoria and RAGE.

Ugh. Might well be a miss for me then.

Even if they use RAGE, GTAV could still be less realistic, and boring than GTAIV.

I'm not A CoD fan at all. I've never even played CoD before. Mainly because of the whole Army shit that my family didn't want me exposed to. They believe CoD and games alike brainwashes ppl into joining the Military.

Now that I'm older I could play by choice, but the rehash stuff I keep hearing and the bullshit online community is making me say fuck it.

Give atleast CoD4 a go. The stealth mission in Pripyat is probably one of the best missions you'll ever play, then after that you should probably give the STALKER series a play through. Namely Shadow of Chernobyl. Absolutely unparreled stealth games.

  14. I've been thinking and my most plausible crisis isn't a zombie outbreak, nuclear attack or natural disaster.

It's short to long periods of intense rioting, I think anybody in the UK can remember the race related ones we had in 2001 and where I live was particularly bad. However it wasn't widespread, mainly locked down to two areas, however since then it's become less segregated, and areas are more multicultural, which means if one incident was to set off a riot in one area, it would begin in others too. There have been 3 incidents of gun crime within 5 miles of me in the last 3 weeks and I think guns could come into play.

  15. I didn't play the second one, but I did play the first for a little while. It was entertaining - I think it's big technological breakthrough was all of the NPC's in the world around you.

It was a lot of fun just mowing down crowds and crowds of people. Other than that, I can't really remember anything about the game.

Yeah, it's more of a technical demo to be honest, quite impressive in retrospect. The game itsself was pretty awful though.
