I actually don't mind the setting, it seems as if they are finally trying to do something different. The whole game is not set in the future, parts are set in the eighties during the cold war and decisions you make during these segments will affect what happens in the future segments. If they do it well, it could make for a quite interesting (and lengthier) game.

General PC Discussion - special cameo appearance by Asthenia

For the components you have used, that's not bad at all. -
Thought this might as well have it's own thread so, here goes. As most of you already know, The Elder Scrolls Online was announced yesterday. The game is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios and will be set a thousand years before Skyrim, with a story centering on the Daedric Prince, Molag Bal trying to pull Tamriel into his realm of Oblivion. The game will feature PVP conflicts between three factions who are fighting over the Emperor's throne. There will be solo questing as well as public dungeons (sounds more Guild Wars than WoW to me.) elderscrollsonline.com

From the looks of that image, Dovahkiin is a vampire... Well, probably not, but those eyes look like the vampire eyes that were in Oblivion to me.

Edge is shortened from Edgecrusher which is a song by Fear Factory, who used to be my favourite band.

I don't hate it, I actually quite enjoyed the first Black Ops. I'm just not a big fan of the Modern Warfare games. I thought they balanced the weapons and perks well in Black Ops so that the multiplayer was actually challenging and enjoyable ninety percent of the time. MW3 felt, to me, like they took everything that worked in Blops and scrapped it. I also won't pretend that the games are perfect; they are rushed out every year in Beta-like form so that Activision can make a quick buck, yet all the kids lap it up, hence my previous post.

^ I think by now they've pretty much proven that they could ship dog turd in a shoebox and it would still sell. As for the poll; realistically? No, It is doubtful if GTA5 will even be released this year yet, if it were to beat CoD sales it would have to launch before it and R* would have to ramp up the hype. But it's not even in competition with CoD anyway, they are two different genres.

Could be something to do with... ...possibly, maybe... or maybe not at all? Would be interesting to see the Falmer in their original form, we may even get a glimpse at the Dwemer if this DLC is set in the past. I'm starting to look forward to this more everyday.

When did you find out about IGTA websites?

August 2004, I think. -
Obviously some devs produce more of the kind of games that I like to play than others, but I wouldn't go to the extent that I would limit myself as to which games I buy just because of the name on the box.

Just got this again from Steam today, I didn't realise how much I had missed it tbh. Now trying to decide which mods to install.
-
I will probably pick it up at some point, I had the battle chest box set thingy of the other two games.
-
I nearly bought this on hp the other week. It looks amazing, but I don't think it's worth getting into debt for, so I will probably pick one up sometime next year.
-
I would rent it rather than buy it, I bought it with quite high expectations and felt a little let down. It's not bad though, just not amazing.

I played the demo and found it enjoyable. I thought there were a couple of nice touches in there, most notably the tactical approach to combat and I also liked that climbing uses stamina, this helped to create some tense moments during the demo.

Because RAM is a marketing buzzword used to sell average PCs as high end ones by most big retailers.

Interesting, I volunteered in an Oxfam shop and never got a penny... Managers are paid a wage, yes, but the money is raised by selling non donation items like fair trade food for just one example and tax exemptions. They get paid roughly 12 grand a year to work a fulltime job, they're not exactly greedy corporate fatcats. Also I can guarantee you that more than 30 percent of the money that Oxfam raises is spent on actual aid there is a big difference between them and IC.
-
If you feel the need to donate after watching this, ny suggestion would be donate to a real charity like say Oxfam.

The shark gun is fun, still not worthy of the price tag though.

I'm not high and mighty at all, I won't try and convert you because I don't care if you agree with me. I am indifferent. -

I am old enough and wise enough to accept that I don't know either way nor will I until death, so I suppose you could call me agnostic these days... -

If I recall correctly, I think we had mini mods or something at one point, but it didn't work out that well.
