  1. The Human League - Don't You Want Me
  2. There is an exploit that allows you to get your gold back after purchase, hence; "free house."

    Fallout

I think I'm pretty much Skyrim'd out for the time being, so I started a new game of New Vegas last night. Got all the DLC packs now as well now so should keep me busy for a few months.
  4. I play conquest mainly when I do play, I like to have the full maps open to me to muck about in. While it doesn't get you much love from your teamates, sniping in conquest on the really big maps is awesome.
  5. I have it, play now and again.

    Saints Row

I have had a bit of a change of heart over this game after watching a mate playing. The idea of playing in a pink cat suit slapping people with dildos overcame any apprehension I had so today I went and bought it. Haven't played yet; waiting for the kids to go to bed and then I am going to have a late night session with it.
  7. Most people are put off by the difficulty level, which is gruelling even on normal. They're nothing like cod et al; more of a simulator, but if you want a challenging and realistic shooter, there really is nothing else on the market that comes close.
  8. I wasn't aware of the smaller DLCs, I've got the PS3 GOTY edition with Knights Of The Nine and The Shivering Isles. I feel a bit ripped off now. But yeah, both previous game's expansions included entirely new locations, so I would be very surprised if Skyrim didn't. Actually now you mention it that would be pretty sweet, forget what I said about High Rock. Makes sense geographically too.
  9. Both Oblivion and Morrowind have had only two expansions, but they are big expansions.
  10. I would like to see either Valenwood or High Rock (with the focus being on Orcs) i the next game.
  11. There is such fun to be had with dead bodies in this game.
  12. Yeah bit of a drawback, but I'm playing through the Thieve's Guild so am spending a lot of time sneaking around at night and breaking into houses anyway. I can feed while I'm looting. As for the weakness to fire; that can be solved with the right enchantments.
  13. Normally you can tell by the active effects section under the magic menu. Remember you can't get the vampire disease (or any disease) if you're a werewolf. My current character is not a werewolf and doesn't have any magical or racial resistances to disease. I think it's like the game rolls a dice to decide whether you get it or not and so far it's not been in my favour. I'm not too bothered though just thought it might be useful as I am playing a stealth build at the mo.
  14. Oh I know several vampire locations just been unable to contract it thus far. Just lucky/unlucky I suppose.
  15. There are feral werewolves in certain dungeons from which you can contract the disease, but it's a bit hit and miss as to whether you will actually contract it. Try as I might, so far I have failed completely at contracting Porphylic Haemophelia (or whatever the vampirism disease is called). If you try to contract Lycanthropy in this manor it could take either minutes or hours to contract so I would just do the Companion quests, I think it's only about halfway through their quests anyway.
  16. Not really anything major, but in werewolf form you can't pick anything up or regain health except by feeding on human NPCs so using it in certain dungeons could become a problem. You get a passive 100% resistance to disease in both human and beast form though, which outweighs the drawbacks IMO.
  17. I find it hard to stick to anything past about level 30. I think if I stuck with the first character I had, I would be max level by now. At the minute I am a level 25 Khajiit.
  18. Finished the Dark Brotherhood quests yesterday and got my sneak up to 100. 30x backstab ftw . Now just gotta get my one handed and archery skills up to 100 to make it even more OP and who needs to waste time with all that daedric shit.
  19. Something mildly interesting happened to me yesterday; Alvor caught me pickpocketing him and started to attack me, so I ran to the other end of Riverwood and Sigrid started attacking me. Gerdur appeared and I thought she would join in, instead she started attacking Alvor, who quickly killed her and then finally Ralof showed up out of nowhere and murdered both Alvor and Sigrid. I never lifted a finger except to dump the bodies under the bridge behind Alvor's house.
  20. You have to cast the ward spell and then he will cast his spell. As for the sound, it's a pain in the arse but I've found that with most things like that, if I save, quit the game and reload it usually sorts it out.
  21. Every character I play I seem to end up using alchemy, I find it handy to keep a stock of various poisons to buff my attack damage when needed.
  22. Just to emphasize that it is magical, I suppose. If your Alchemy skill is high enough, you can use it to make an invisibility potion, amongst other things. Yep.
  23. I love the way it says "His style of the killing is similar to the upcoming Rockstar’s title Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5)." Oh yeah? What style is that then? We all know there was no such thing as guns and murders before GTA... Also noted that obviously you can draw comparisons about the "style of killing" with a game that hasn't been released yet...
  24. For those who are interested; Nirn is the world in which the game takes place. Nirn is divided into five continents; Atmora, Akavir, Yokuda, Pyandonea, Aldmeris and Tamriel, which is the largest continent and where all of the games thus far have taken place. Tamriel is further divided into nine provinces; Skyrim, Cyrodiil, Morrowind, Hammerfell, High Rock, Summerset Isle, Valenwood, Elsweyr and Black Marsh.
  25. I defeated my first dragon priest last night after getting slapped on a previous file, think I'm going to stick with this file now. After about a dozen restarts with various race/class combinations I am back to playing a basic Nord warrior character but am progressing fairly well. I have been playing the story quests a few at a time along with the companion quests and wandering/dragon slaying inbetween to level up and make money. I completed Hircine's quest for the second time yesterday as my character is a werewolf and also completed Clavicus Vile's quest.
