I had the PS3 demo of this when it came out, it's pretty good. I plan to get the Steam version at some point, but will probably wait until it is on offer.

I've started as a vampire and so far have been handed about four sets of full Dawnguard Armour. The Vampire Lord Power is pretty awesome, just have a bit of trouble fitting through doorways sometimes... >_<

I used to run it on a Dell Dimension 3000, it should run on most hardware nowadays.

Dawnguard is now out for PC on Steam, PS3 version has been delayed due to "performance issues." I'm downloading it now.

Couldn't find any of mine, I remember taking some screenshots of myself spamming grenades at the traffic on the Las Venturas freeway. Googling "Edgecrusher gta-sanandreas.com" turned up my current avatar and an interesting topic with an old pic of QD in it. I recently got the GTA collection on Steam though, so expect screens soon, maybe.

I've never spawned near another player, I don't know if they added that in a patch or it is just luck on my part though. It is quite annoying that you don't start with a pistol, but it adds to the survival aspect and once you get used to where the weapons spawn, it's not really a problem. I do think it is a game that is probably best played with mates, but none of mine have it, so I usually play by myself.

I think, as a whole, they're all pretty shite. I just switch providers when one becomes unreliable.

Talktalk sucks dick. Literally anything is better than them. XD, I'm on Talk Talk and get about 10 - 12mb, which is about the max for my area's shitty exchange anyway. I would honestly say BT is the worst ISP I've ever had, with Sky coming in at a close second. Talk Talk isn't all that bad, you need to make a phonecall if your speeds are that low, Marn.

In terms of weapons and food; I already have a machete, crowbar and various kitchen implements and I always keep a good stock of canned food so would grab as many as I could fit in my backpack. There is a sports/camping shop on the edge of my town that I could loot on the way out. I think the best bet would be to head away from populated areas, so I would head off into the countryside and hunt for food. Also, guns are fairly fucking useless; they attract way to much attention. In terms of projectile weapons, bows and crossbows are preferable.

Yeah, I got it yesterday and got it running after a little googling. Thanks though. For anyone having trouble running it; make sure that both ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead have admin rights and you should be good to go.

I know there aren't many PC players on here, but any of you played this yet? I'm thinking of getting ArmA II: CO tomorrow to play this mod. The combination of realistic physics and survival horror looks really interesting to me and I think this will probably be something I will play for a long time. dayzmod.com
