Rushed home today to check the Rockstar website, now I'm sad.

Maybe it's bullshit. Not trying to be a downer but look at the way companies always advertise there games before release. They always talk about how it will "Innovate gaming" and how it takes things in a bold new direction but it's usually just the same old formula with a few minor changes, I'm guessing thats whats happening here. Not that there's a problem with that, I love the old formula it works brilliantly and has got them this far.

How could the trailer be unfinished if they had planned to have released it already? Well they thought they could have had it finished by this friday but the hurricane knocked there power out and they couldn't work on it all week and meet the deadline.

I mentioned that before. Maybe there is two piers in Los Santos like there was in San Andreas or maybe they just changed the name.

I'm pretty sceptical about the trailer being released before thursday. The original intention was no doubt to release the trailer before GI but even if they have the power back by monday, we have no idea how close they are or if they are finished the trailer. Plus like that guy said above, they aren't gonna get power back and be like "Back to work!" most employees won't have power in their house and may not be able to make it into work. I suspect they won't ask employees back to work until the majority of people are safe.

I think they haven't finished the trailer yet, if they had they would just release it somewhere else. Remember they only said they were "Working on trailer 2 " so even if they power does come back it will be a few days at least.

What I don't get is wouldn't you think Rockstar has backups of the trailer? Like at Rockstar North in Edinburgh or something that they could release from there?

Well how the fuck would you know that ? He's speculating, the letter states a second trailer will be released by the pre-order date which is on monday. So most likely date for second trailer is tommorrow, to get people hyped to pre-order.

Imagine San Andreas with a large Los Santos and no San Fierro or Las Venturas. One downtown area in the whole game with miles and miles of sprawl around it. Nowhere to fly to except some little town with a dirt airstrip. Most ambitious game? What exactly is this in the marked area? It kind of looks like two big tires with some kind of backrest or something. I don't know what the hell I'm looking at. Someone help me. Thats a fucking handbag lol
