I believe so too, but does it not look odd how the head is looking one way and the shoulder is huge and sticking out? Look closely. Do you at least see what I'm talking about? Its like her neck doesn't meet up with her shoulder/collar bone area. idk how else to explain it... -

That head does NOT look proportionate with the shoulder and body! Seems fishy -

I don't play FPS games, and when I do I use a mouse keyboard. Back On Topic I'm looking forward to ripping around on a quad and a sand rail. I hope they have sand dunes with hills. I just went to dunes this weekend and rode in gfs dads sand rail. 780hp supercharged ls3 engine. Thing was sick! Curious if these are the pictures that will be in GI magazine, or if we will still get to see exclusives. -

Wrong!!!!! Sorry but you spelt PS3 Dualshock Controller Wrong. well to each their own. I've tried using my ps3 controller with my pc, but it never acted right. So I went and bought an xbox controller since I dont own an xbox. Was plug and play, controls worked without any set up. Even though I much prefer ps3 over 360, the triggers and joysticks do have better feel then ps3. -

I use an xbox360 controller for GTA style games on my pc. Best of both worlds, best graphics, best controls.... -

I like my current setup (although I'm upgrading monitor soon) and don't have room for a huge tv. That and my current computer chair is quite comfortable and to buy a console for a single game I might not enjoy (depends on if its too realistic like GTA IV) would be daft. I play majority of games on PC and almost always they're better. Chances are the monitor I'll have by then will be better than the screen you have. Pro tip: A screen isn't better because it's bigger. This is true. I'd rather play it on my 30" 2560x1600 monitor with maxed graphics then my 55" LED tv in living room. Computer monitor looks bigger anyways since sitting only 3-4 feet away instead of around 12 feet from tv.... Not to mention mods. That being said, I'll prolly wait a few weeks for pc announcement or pick up ps3 one while I wait. -
nope, HD7970 here... time to upgrade my friend

What I'm hoping is that means more indoor stuff. Like the ability to enter way more buildings. That could justify huge map aswel, not just landscape, but interior space. A lot of news coming in a few weeks. Guess we have no choice but to be patient and find out then. Back on topic. I like the attention to detail in the artwork. Such as all the detail on the open van door, jet in sky, dented bumper, silencers. It looks like the ground is some sort of cobblestone instead of asphalt, but that may just be art style. -

HATE HATE HATE that idea. 100% kills immersion for me. That being said, I don't think R* will do that or let us down. crosses fingers -

This is true, I was going by the thick eyebrows (man on left) and wrinkled forehead. The dude on right is harder to tell. Plus "old guy" appeared in scene from trailer. Just an observation. -

I wouldn't be surprised if somebody else have posted something similar, but I just copied and put the two faces next to each other. To me it APPEARS one of the men is the "old guy" and the other one is the "Hispanic guy". But I could be totally wrong... Opinions? ps also this may belong in character thread but thought I'd post here since its from the official artwork. -
What vehicles would you like to see?
AngryOscar replied to BuickBoy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I want some pointless vehicles just for fun. Lawnmower (working blades would be a plus... imagine weed eating somebodies face too) , go-kart, quad, moped obviously, construction vehicles, working tow truck and car carrier, all sorts of various land, sea, air "toys"...... I'd like to attach trailers to trucks to pull things like boat or jeatski or other vehicles or even a camper. Would be neat having a house with big garage that you could park a boat, then drive to lake, back up boat in water then dock boat to park truck... sounds like too much but you have to admit that would be pretty cool. -
What are you looking for in GTA5?
AngryOscar replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I like the idea of grabbing hostages. You could use them as a human bullet proof vest. When your done with them you could either execute (if still alive) or let them go and continue on. High powered weapons would pierce hostage and the player would still take damage but it would be reduced. -

Or possibly a mini game of some sort that would depend on the make or rarity of car. Remember in games like China Town Wars or Sleeping Dogs where you'd have those instances where you have to rotate left joystick to undo screw, or match a 4 digit code before the timer goes off. If failure to enter correct code in alloted time the car alarm would sound. There could be various different mini games so things wouldn't get stale. The rarer the vehicle the harder the task. From simple rotating joystick 3 times clockwise to steal medium rare car (would be easy to do) to code matching and wire splicing for a very hard to find car. (Greater chance to mess up and signal alarm). Maybe some cars just need a simple item like a door jam thing you slide into window to trigger lock. Imagine an exotic car dealership to break into and hijacking cars. It would be more risky and a lot more fun then like the one in GTA4 on 2nd island where all you do is shoot window, jump in car and drive out broken window to escape a 1 star wanted level. With a name like GRAND THEFT AUTO, I think more emphasis needs to be focused on various way to steal cars and more auto theft missions in general. I would like to see a character that you meet fairly early in the game who sends you off on car jacking missions. This could also include a small tutorial teaching you how to sneak and use various tools to break into a car. First few missions from him/her would be easy robberies on a cheap car parked somewhere. Along the line you'd be stealing cars from people currently driving them, where you'd need to fight off the car owner and escape high speed pursuit. One of the final mission could have you break into the Exotic Dealership mentioned above and steal a mission only car on the top story which would lead to a long high speed chase down alleys and highways, avoid spike strips/road block, firing out your window at police and such. Missions like these where you meet the person early on would allow for character development where you grow attached and when something bad happens your willing to risk your own ass to help them or when they die off you actually feel the pain. Just a few ideas. -
Whats next, more photos or 2nd Trailer?
AngryOscar replied to UlanBator's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I'm all for surprises, which I'm sure there will be many. But a trailer would be nice. Its not like its a movie trailer where they show all the best scenes so there is no point in watching the movie lol. -
What will you be doing
AngryOscar replied to tomvercetti's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Am I the only one that reads the books/map/"tour guide" that comes in the game case? Once the game loads I would finish the basic tutorial/first mission as already mentioned. Then once I'm finally FREE, I will carjack what looks to be a 4 wheel drive vehicle and then find some hills to offroad. GTA4 was a bit too flat. After that I'd get out and pick some fights with a few bums in a dark alley to test the fight system. Once familiar I would beat up some rich looking snobs to get a money stash build up early for guns/hair cut or whatever else I can spend money on. -
GTA V Animal Discussion

could actually be pretty funny.... you decide to steel a car parked underneath a big tree. As you get close you notice its covered in bird shit. I could see flocks of seagulls hanging out around the pier or docks. Perfect use for you trusty shot gun and pet dog named Roscko to fetch them for you.... -
Not going to lie, that video was AMAZING! I can't wait until graphics are that good. I think we are a long ways away though. Top of the line pc games don't even look that good, and I play at 2560x1600 all settings maxed on most games.

Gta V likely for March 2013
AngryOscar replied to machine321434's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
No. I agree with you. I'd rather see features and facts then the "need to know" release date. Information like main character, map size, and another trailer containing gameplay this time. I have a feeling we will get "Coming this spring" or something along those lines before an actual date. If I had to guess release date, I'd say after tax return -
GTA V Animal Discussion
AngryOscar replied to asdfguy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
If animals are included, I hope they are kind of rare that way it makes running into them more of a surprise. I think it would get old to fight off guard dogs on every house I rob, or every police chase. And we all know if there is torturing of animals PETA is going to have a shit fit. R* pulled it off in RDR so I don't see why we can't in GTA. I'd like to see attack dogs, a few stray cats, birds, waterlife, and maybe a few farmland animals in the country side. Nothing crazy like giraffes and lions.
