  1. It was awesome that Samuel L Jackson and James Woods were in GTA:SA but I'm indifferent as to whether celebrities should be in GTAV or not. If they can be in there without major cost it would be definitely be entertaining but not a neccessity to a good story
  2. I wouldn't put it past Rockstar to actually release the 2nd trailer on the 24th of May now to play into the rumour. Gives them time for a couple magazine articles and screenshots released to websites after the release of Max Payne
  3. Yeah that would be awesome, kind of like in Saint's Row 3, but better. Maybe if you could choose like 1 or 2 vehicles you want your gang to ride around in, customize them and those would be the default cars your homies ride in. I like that idea. Yeah I remember being annoyed in SA when I had however many millions of dollars but I couldn't give my gang members automatic rifles or cars other than the greenwood
  4. A plastic surgery could make a decent business to own. Didn't watch much Nip/Tuck but from the ads it always seemed like they were involved with pretty seedy characters.
  5. At what stage of development would they be bringing game testers in? Near complete or just testing certain aspects at this stage?
  6. Fuck Edinburgh is a long trek from New Zealand...
  7. Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas The joys of having a birthday in late December...
  8. Might happen, but I doubt a kidnap plot would be the main story arc. I don't see how it could be winded out into the long storylines we usually see in GTA. Just imagine if the entire plot of IV was based around the mission where roman gets kidnapped. Perhaps if it's a drug relaged storyline his family get kidnapped toward the end and you have to save the day. RDR used a kidnapping plot to run the main storyline so it is possible. I personally think I mix between the drug trade and Mexican immigration would work awesomely for the main storyline however.
  9. Yeah there was a midnight release here for GTA IV. And I was told at the time that all of NZ was getting the unedited version but after a couple of months I figured I had the edited one. As far as I'm aware the only differences are with the prostitutes and the gore though so not really bothered.
  10. If Rockstar have the same release date for all countries like they did for GTA IV then NZ and Australian gamers will get their hands on it first
  11. Maybe an edited version for the Australians. As long as we get the full version in NZ I'll be happy.
  12. Don't care how many safehouses there are as long as at the end of the game I have somewhere I can save like the airport graveyard in SA. All i need is a spawning Hydra and a parachute and I'm good to go.
  13. He did specifically say Los Santos this time as opposed to southern California.
  14. Wow I forgot what it feels like to get information from an actual source. Well done brother. Extremely excited by the 'very big map' quote.
  15. All GTA games have revolved around earning money, what we're hoping for this time around is the ability to spend it on a wider variety of items and activities once we've acquired it.
  16. Yeah back on topic, has been nearly a month since the trailer now. When do people think the next piece of information will be released by Rockstar? I didn't expect this much silence on the matter
  17. How exactly would knowing why we are after money spoil the story but knowing that we die in the end doesn't? Really hope we get some real information soon so I don't have to keep reading this crap.
  18. Yeah that's always annoyed me as well. Hopefully they'll add it as an option so those who don't want it on their HUD while they're driving can turn off. I'd probably have it off most of the time as well, it'd just be convenient to compare top speeds on a freeway.
  19. By memory I'm pretty sure we knew that there was going to be 3 cities in SA before the first trailer was released. I think it might have even been the first piece of info after the announcement
  20. GTA version of Tijuana. Seems plausible given my limited knowledge of North American geography
  21. You're right. San Andreas was far beyond any other gta game before it. Rockstar have to do the same again. But it'll still be an amazing game just because it's not set in liberty city. Rockstar said this is their 'largest and most ambitious game yet', I should hope that means its going to accomplish even more than San Andreas. I can't imagine how they're gonna do that yet but I have faith they'll find a way
  22. That would be hell unless the release date is within 3 months or so
  23. No it doesn't. Rockstar tend to bunch the trailer releases closer together in the final months before release. There will also be a gradual build of sections on the official GTA V website for different apects of the game so you won't be bored in between the video releases. That's great and all, but I'm pretty fucking bored waiting for the next trailer. Better be better than the first one. Not too phased if it's awhile before next trailer, as long as there's some other information released soon elsewhere
  24. http://grandtheftaut...elease-Timeline Do you think they'll keep to a similar schedule for the release of information as they did with GTAIV? If so then we could start to be receiving magazine previews very shortly. On the downside though it might be over 3 months until we get to see another trailer.
