@Parker - forget your previous life.... you are now a Lone Wanderer... Just got round to exploring the southwest of the Capital Wasteland, distracting me from the story again... found out about Oasis from the drifter... sooo, off to check that shit out... Quick question for the masters... I have Broken Steel installed. Do I have to finish the story to continue ranking up after 20 because I'm at 19 now and don't want to "waste" XP? (I would use the Wiki but don't want to spoil the BS story... I know most of the main games one though...) Also, I saw a review that said the main story of Fallout 3 could probably be completed in 15-20 hours... I am 140+ hours in and my next story quest is The Waters of Life.... Has anyone ever done a speed run? What's the lowest possible rank or XP points you can end the main story with?

Pretty sure I've got that one down on my own, but it takes a hell of a long time for the pay out... The first area is easy... once you get to the next area,kill all enemies in the area of the laptop and hack it... wait by the laptop for 3 or 4 cars of dudes to turn up and destroy them (not necessary but will save you getting chased to the airport)... Make sure you blow up the plane before you take on the warehouse of dudes which will save you a plane chase and possibly losing the guy.... If you are on tonight (my time), we can give it a bash if you like....

Now the World Cup's over, the real football can begin.... Who's your team and how are they shaping up for the new season? I am a Liverpool fan and I hope we can maintain or possibly improve on last season but it all boils down to what they do with Suarez's transfer fee... hopefully they learnt from Spurs wasting their Bale money on dross... cuda, did you watch much Portuguese football last year? Liverpool's new signing Lazar Markovic played for Benfica... catch him in action? Hopefully Tiago Ilori's injury isn't too bad because defense was an area we struggled in last year...

I only have 3 out of the 5 DLC's - The Pitt, Broken Steel and Point Lookout... Also, what's the deal with Dogmeat? I found him ages (like 30-40 game hours) ago then he disappeared (I thought he might be dead) and then all of a sudden he turns up in Vault 92....

Deathclaws always make me jump... they always seem to appear out of nowhere...

Finding the violin for Agatha.... I haven't really explored too much north of Vault 101 and exploring anywhere takes 3 times as long because of my hoarding tendencies...

Might have chosen the wrong dialogue option because I went to Harkness and got his reward. Then I narked Harkness off to Zimmer, got his reward but couldn't kill him afterwards... he would only go unconscious which pissed me off... feel sad about Harkness but I have improved VATS skills so whatever... Found another sidetrack from main story to work on... this game could take forever...

Xbox Store had a sale - NV for $5... Made me realise I still had a fair way to go through DC... any tips to get both rewards from The Replicated Man side quest?? Also, are the Enclave much of an obstacle when they join the party? I believe I am up to the mission just before they become more involved so I was trying to do as much as I can before opening that up...

I just park my car, blocking the bridge just in case I miss, then stand behind the car and shoot the driver when he approaches... gives me time to pop the prick shooting at me from the house as well... Anyway, I've ground myself to a halt... $3m + a Buzzard over the last couple of weeks with nothing I consider worth spending it on and I can't even give it away... I will pop in for the latest DLC's but for now it's back to the Wastes...

As a fan of Brazilian football, I was gutted with yesterdays result but it was not a Brazil team that plays the way that Brazil teams traditionally play... the way Germany played reminded me of how Liverpool dismantled Arsenal or Spurs in the first half of their games last season... The video below is how I will always remember Brazilian football and I hope that they go back to playing like that... I am glad Argentina won today and I hope they win the final... I would normally go for the Dutch but I can't support a team with Robben in it... I have never liked the Germans (see Schumacher v Battiston 1982, diving to win the WC in 1990, traditionally very boring...). Plus I am a big Messi fan and I think that winning a World Cup will shut the haters up.... Can't see the final being a "beautiful game" however... cuda, why all the Sabella hate?

Prince of Fools is pretty damn good. It helps to have read the Broken Empire series though. I don't usually like fantasy type books either so this must be good... It's set when Jorg was about 14 (the main character has a brief encounter with Jorg, which I recognised from the first series) and is the story of Jalan, a womanising cowardly prince, who becomes magically entwined to a huge Norse warrior and their quest to break the spell. It offers insight to the rise of the Dead King and has some awesome moments... the fight with the is a particularly gruesome yet hilarious highlight for me... I love the world it is set in too...
