Loved both Far Cry 3 & 4 (didn't play the first couple). No real details about this one yet - just hope there'll be plenty 'new' stuff to set it aside from both 3 & 4.
-
I think it's a lot more 'polished' too, faster loading times and has none of the bugs which plagued the original PS3 version. Well worth the £23 I paid. Anyway, my current character is a female imperial and in a lesbian marriage with Lydia! Although part of me wishes I had chosen another race. My character is largely 'good' at the moment and I've got the main skills concentrated on two-handed weapons and heavy armour - I'm more of a gung-ho person rather than a 'sneaky' one.

I was adamant I wasn't going to buy the special edition, but after seeing it for £23 in Game and having birthday cash burning a hole in my pocket, I bought it last month. Thoroughly enjoying playing it again and even come across stuff I didn't come across first time round. Also a relatively easy platinum to work towards! It's been a reminder that this is without doubt one of the best games I've ever played. Will tinker with mods at some point but for now, I'll just play it 'normally'.

Use it all the time although just Facebook and Twitter. Facebook - mainly use it for a few groups that are about my home town and post in them quite often - sharing photos and discussing various topics (sometimes having a rant!). Never usually use the status update - no need to as I've set Twitter to directly post my tweets to my Facebook wall. Have a few people I knew from school on my friends but God know's why. Used to have a number of people from work on my friends list a few years ago but deleted them all after one person decided to spread malicious shit about me an a colleague on their wall. Regularly use Twitter for a whole host of things - any of my interests, rants, liking anything funny and most recently, taking the piss out of the contestants on Bullseye as we watch old episodes on Challenge! (I say 'we' as we all now follow each other with us all being Bullseye fans and are now known as 'Team Bully'). Can understand the reasons why some people don't like Facebook and/or Twitter - there are of course bad sides to them but for me, the good far outweighs the bad.

Finished Dishonored 2 which I was most disappointed with. My first play through was with Emily and I found the whole experience infuriating - guards practically everywhere and trying to 'stealth' your way through is very hard. For some reason playing as Corvo was a damn site better. It's certainly a 'thinking mans' game in that if you want to stealth your way through then you have to plan every single move slowly and carefully - I just don't have the time or patience for playing a game that slowly. Anyway, finally jumped onto GTA 3 which I got last year when it was on offer on PS Store with Vice City & San Andreas. It's been almost 16 years since I last played it but it really feels like I 'never left'! Vehicle handling, gun aiming etc hasn't 'aged well' but it's still a damn good nostalgia trip. The Asian taxi drivers still make me laugh "Hey ma cab!" "Get in the back aarrrghhhh!".

Nipped on as was going to do a bit more work on my latest build and the mods had been updated. Unfortunately since the author of the mods I use re-categorised everything, it meant my build has been messed up and most of the flooring has disappeared. Will take an age to put right and I'm not sure I can be bothered with carrying that build on or just starting afresh.

Yep. Further to my comment about the challenges - there's a place reserved in hell for the person responsible for them!

Been largely playing this for the past month and by large, I have enjoyed playing it. The missions are fun but the best aspect is liberating the outposts and towns. Grapple-hooking is great and by far the easiest way to get around. On the downside, the driving mechanics/handling is fucking appalling - especially with the motorcycles. Some of the challenges are infuriating as fuck - I was going to have a bash at the platinum (trophy) but think I may have to knock it on the head as trying to get 5 gears for all challenges is making me want to rage-quit! May just sweep up the last trophies I can get then leave it.
-
I'm another one 'looking backwards' when it comes to games! Finally bought Just Cause 3 before Christmas - some flaws to it like the driving mechanics (even worse now!) but still a bloody good game. Think it'll take me a while to complete that although looking at the trophy list, I won't be going for the platinum (just 'seeing what I get'). Still need to get Uncharted 4 which is definitely my next buy. Also looking at Dishonored 2 (loved the first). As for VR - just a very expensive gimmick IMO.

It used to be fine until they released the last update - then it kept crashing on a regular basis. Alerted Ubisoft Support about it but they did nothing... Still a great game though and definitely ranks alongside Black Flag for me.

Bit of a 'sneak preview'. Still a lot to do, but this is the lobby of the "hotel". More than likely there'll be changes as and when more items are created & mods updated.

Jumped back onto Fallout 4 earlier this week after getting the platinum for AC Syndicate. Got a few mods on the go at the moment, mainly additional settlement items mods (I recommend the ones by AndrewCX) and a couple of others that are aiding me in settlement building. Doesn't have everything I need/want at the moment but AndrewCX is adding more stuff as he goes along - I'm looking forward to more institute stuff! Already started on my next build which is at Kingsport Lighthouse (got a mod which clears away the old house). Intending on building some kind of 'hotel'/holiday resort - already working on the swimming pool.
-
I agree and now that I've finished it for the time being (I've platinumed it) I can safely say it ranks up there as one of the best. Two great play-able side quests, great structure missions and plenty of side stuff to get stuck into. Syndicate was developed by Ubisoft Quebec whilst Black Flag was by Ubisoft Montreal. All that tells us is, just leave it to the Canadians in future!

Can't remember which one I got it at - Costal Cottage I think but not 100% sure. This certainly helped me: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/fallout-4-a/278649-how-get-benevolent-leader-trophy-screenshot.html

I've been playing AC Syndicate over the past month or so - I'm happy to say it's a return to form and a million times better than AC Unity. That said though, I'm glad they're finally giving the game a rest this year. The combat is a lot better and I've really enjoyed all the side stuff like fight club, races, sabotaging shipments etc. Only real criticisms is that I think the running is a little slow and the horse riding is a little on the slow side too - thoroughly enjoy ramming other carriages though!
-
Well, well, well! My creative juices are flowing! Been waiting for this for a long time but too busy with AC Syndicate at the moment - should get round to it at somepoint next week but need to reinstall it after finally getting a new harddrive. Will have to have a brainstorm on what I'm going to build for definite but there is no way I'm spending as much time on it as I did on my last build. Already 'platinumed' the game so trophies aren't important but I'll probably start a new save file as some of the mods I plan to use recommend it.

Why the hell did I ever get a Ford Fiesta? Thought they were supposed to be reliable. It's only done just under 29,000 miles and had to have a new water pump & drive belt last month which set me back £240. Took it in for an MOT this morning and although it passed, it needed new break pads (wear and tear I suppose) but the shock absorber had a 'light misting of oil' Least it passed the MOT, now to wait for something else to go wrong.

That scene reminds me of Back to The Future 3 where Marty meets Seamus McFly (with Michael J Fox playing both parts obviously) and 'Mad Dog' Tannen (Thomas F Wilson)..... if that makes any sense! Anyway, my first thoughts about the trailer is, well it looks absolutely stunning. Don't see why they have to say 'Fall 2017' though when we all know it'll be delayed anyway!

Horses which cost $2.5 million. Upgraded saddle $75k.
-
Sorry, meant in terms of extra stuff to use in addition to the existing items etc in settlement building (i.e stuff that already exists in the game such as institute furniture etc). Unless they aren't counted as in-game assets?
-
So long as I can use the settlement building mod packs (extra stuff) then I'm happy!
-
So far I've only done a couple of missions with a couple of random biker gangs I got invited to join. Quite enjoyed them and also enjoyed ruining other gangs' fun by blowing the crap out of them whilst they transported goods! (makes a change the boot being on my foot!). At the moment, I don't have any intention of starting my own gang, unless someone convinces me it's actually worth it. Until then, I'll stick to being a dogsbody.

Good news - we ARE getting mods! https://bethesda.net/#en/events/game/mods-and-4k-coming-to-ps4-for-skyrim-and-fallout4/2016/10/04/221
