I have a G5 for many years now, from when I actually played computer games. It still works like the first day, worth the money for sure. edit: Holy crap, just googled G5 and checked prices, I got it for about 40€, now they are going for almost 3x the price...

Ok, managed to watch the gameplay video, first impressions: - Game looks pretty decent, doubt character customization will be that good though, again, only WoW has really made it work, races need to be very distinctive, armor as well. - The moment I see any kind of siege, be it vehicles or walls to take down, WHATEVER, any time I see those I just have to cringe. Siege combat in MMOs has NEVER worked, it's just awful. I hope they don't overdo it, player combat should always be about player vs player (see original BGs in WoW/arena), never about complex resources and/or battlefield equipment. Other than that, the game has good lore to back it up, I don't really give a shit about lore, all I care about is good gameplay and having other people to play with. Will wait to see how this one turns out, it's looking quite promising.

Yeah, but the thing is - most MMOs fuck up things like hit timers, the 'sword' only really hits your target after the animation is complete, and that's gay as fuck cuz. Part of the reason WoW blows every other MMO out of the water is because the gameplay is awesome, there hasn't been ONE MMO that matches WoW in quality of gameplay - movement, casting, animations, etc, all of these things are what make an MMO good. A friend of mine has been playing Rift lately, the game is superb from a content point of view, regular updates, really challenging raids... it's great, but it goes to shit when you start moving your character, everything is clunky and slow responsive. I think the gameplay looks good, but it would be better if we could actually see some sort of UI to be able to judge hit timers at least.

No point in even becoming excited about this till we see/try any gameplay. MMOs are extremely hit and miss, developers need to realize that gameplay comes at absolutely #1 priority.

Buy the related literature first and give it a read through. HTML for dummies won't run you much, then you can move onto more in depth books and implement other languages. Web design IS one of the things you can become proficient in at home without training then get yourself onto a course and get qualified. You can't really make a career on web design though, I don't know any real 'web designers' that do web design alone, the trend these days in companies are the so called 'front-end developers' - people that take care of the design while at the same time make sure client interaction works and information is displayed in an intuitive way, a front-end developer should be specialized in various javascript libraries such as jquery, knockout.js, etc... they basically plug the back-end with the front-end. Problems a web designer/front-end developer face in the modern economy: are they REALLY needed? I'd love if companies employed these people full time, but it's simply not profitable... when a project manager see's a programmer/developer with a knack for design, that guy is probably going to get all the work (and be paid accordingly - I hope ), unless the project is truly big (in profit terms), companies don't see a point in assigning design specific people. Web design, like any sort of 'x design' is an extremely competitive market, the people that triumph in the design world are the best at what they do, there isn't much room for others. And I'm rambling again. Anyway, I work as a web developer in the financial industry, previous to this I did some cryptography work (a lot of my work goes into web security). Although most of what I do is code heavy, I can also dwell into design (HTML5/CSS3). My dream is to one day cash out, buy a boat and travel the seas like a big gay sailor.

People that know football say he is the best in the world without scoring goals, but with 91 goals in one year, he becomes the best player ever. I'd still like to see how Messi would fit in another club, it's one thing to play in Barcelona (IN THIS Barcelona...), it's another thing to jump into a team like Ronaldo does. I wouldn't be shocked if Ronaldo won it this year, because frankly, the guy worked his ass off and carried Real on so many occasions. There is no doubt Barcelona is a better team though. Bottom line in the Messi vs Ronaldo thing, I think Messi was born with the football gene, Ronaldo is a product of his ambition and effort... would love for both these guys to head over to the Premier League. Del Bosque getting his award was ridiculous though. I could fucking coach the Spanish team into a Euro cup, a retarded dolphin could do it as well from sea. That award is for Mourinho, no question about it.
