    Yes. It does matter. OUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE! Lol I mean its just a fun competition to see who would win and by seeing which franchise has the greatest fan base. No reason to go and post saying 'their fans gain nothing from this'.

    Yeah that's what I said.. But I really don't want to see Elder Scrolls beat GTA. Even if I weren't a GTA fan I would still think it is a better series and glad ya voted Bronson!

    Actually it is. I mean he didn't attempt to place it like in a specific place obsviously but he's just showing that if you put RDR's map in compared to GTA V its wayyy bigger. Read my post.. lol

    Well this is awkward.. So i've been reading on the Reddit of GTA V and I found this VERY interesting post. Basically, this guy VERY accurately measured the maps of RDR, GTA SA, and GTA IV. He Concluded by saying that GTA SA is the largest of the three. Yes, its a fact. He then did a whole bunch of math which wouldn't really interest you but he did all this math using percentages along with the measurements of km I believe and then finally converting it to miles and he did ALL of this just to get an accurate reading of what a mile would be in GTA V's map. So then he posted this. Which is accurately showing how big the map is. How SA is compared to GTA V's map.     Its confirmed that its 49 sq miles. ALSO Fitty and Dupz you guys did an.. astonishing job on the map. Like, its seriously nearly spot on. Great job good sirs

    Sooo I was hearing that we MAY possibly get a official show of the map previous to the launch of the game? I mean its happened for previous games so i'm like 90% sure it's gonna happen ,but what I wanna know is what day would that be?? Saturday? Sunday? Monday?

    Yeah you're right. The city ( Los Santos ) in the fan-made map you provided is taken from the Collector's Edition blueprint map poster, and you were only comparing GTA lV's Liberty City to the city of Los Santos ( not the entirety of GTA V's map ). Because pretty much all of the northern part of that fan-made map ( including all of the countryside in the north ) is still based primarily on speculation. This is the only confirmed part of GTA V's map that we have so far ~ Also, I swear that there is what looks like the beginning of some land, off to the left-side of the map ( maybe an island? )... That's EXACTLY what i've been thinking. I wouldn't be surprised if they did add another small island of some sort probably with some easter eggs You can stop dick riding Fitty now. And boys lets all calm down now. now I didn't mean for all this to get out of hand. But Fitty you should know better than trying to just mess with a guy with less posts than you(me). Also, as you can see, I have people on my side agreeing that the map is close like I said. But whatevs I was just trying to give decent information to compare the confirmed part of the map to gta iv to show just how big it is. I just wanted to give bacm to this amazing forumn for giving such great info! Your help and information is appreciated. I know and I hope everybody else understands that you were comparing the topography of Liberty City to the topography of Los Santos excluding the surrounding area and countryside. Thanks. I try to give back to the community and I love how my post was deleted (the one you quoted) ahahahaha

    Oh shit. This is nice. I'm glad to see that there will be atmy in the game! Hopefully more branches (air force,etc) which would mean more military bases!

    Well, buddy, if we take a look at the map it's compared to the confirmed part of the map. Not like i'm comparing GTA IV's map to Mt. Chilidad or something.
