  1. I was showing my girlfriend the map the other night, just to try and explain how epic the game is. I'm not sure if she got it or not, she didn't say much.
  2. Well I wouldn't know as I don't use it. *changes skin, nearly throws up* Well I thought i'd have learnt my lesson after my first attempt at using the dark skin, but it seems I was silly enough to don it a second time. *puts honky skin on coathanger and hangs in back of wardrobe*
  3. As Mr. Knopfler said; "Money for nothing get your chicks for free." My reason for saying that? I have no idea.
  4. Moustaches are only cool when attached to a beard, there are exceptions to the rule but they are rare. I'd never just grow a moustache by itself, it's either all or nothing. And if Ast were really cool he'd have grown a 6ft moustache and used that as a scarf.
  5. Naval battles were the highlight of the game for me, they were done very well. If only more of the game revolved around them.
  6. Or V on your front as a hint to women.
  7. *facepalms* Why do people never get this right? Where's my niggah David Mitchell. Oh there he is.
  8. The thing that annoys me is when Connor stands next to a knee high obstacle - normally a rock - yet he does the palms against wall animation and when you try to step over the object he runs up an invisible wall that's a lot taller than the object and falls back down again, it's especially annoying when i'm in the middle of freerunning and he stops dead in his tracks.
  9. You recruit more Assassins by doing liberation missions in each district, you have to do three of each particular one and then a special mission for the recruit. There are six districts in total (three in Boston three in New York) so six recruits. Shipping depends on what you send, you can only send to merchants you have discovered previously - there are three in the frontier, three in Boston and three in New York. Different merchants will pay less or more for specific goods. But watch the risk percentage, if it's high then your convoy will be attacked, you can apparently go and defend them but i've never bothered as it only happened to me once. Later on you can get naval convoys that ship to other places in the world, these tend to have more capacity and pay a lot more for goods. To start out with though I found the most lucrative item was beaver pelts. I'm sure though that the game differentiates between pelts you have bought from your homestead and ones you have collected yourself through hunting. Oh and to craft more valuable items you have to collect almanac pages.

Ordered dees cheet today mang. Better be fuckin' good homes.
  11. Smarter AI would make gang shootouts more exciting, I know gangs probably don't use tactics but flanking and moving from cover to cover is a must.
  12. Elizabeta was jailed for life in IV so she couldn't really appear in it. I predict Jonny or Luis won't be in, but it would be funny if Luis was in it during a bank heist and repeating his initial appearance from GTA IV, lying on the floor as a hostage.
  13. Connor reacts in strange ways, he gets angry for no real reason, especially with Achilles. He seems to have the whole Anakin Skywalker "yo' killed mah mamma now i'mma take it out on the world" thing going on. Sadly there's only a finite amount of naval missions, they are the one thing I really like about the game and are presented really well; the ambience, the quality of the sea itself. If only they were longer and not just standalone missions, i'd like to be able to sail out of port myself and onto the high seas.

Can you create a character and give them certain moves?
  15. Sad to see i'm not the only one bored with this game, Connor just feels dull and uninteresting despite his background. As Ezio I wanted to explore the world, but as Connor I didn't feel the need to once i'd seen it.
  16. Seen something like that long ago but shit is it funny.
  17. I wouldn't call robbing a jewelry store walking a tightrope myself. That's pretty much off the tightrope. I could see Phill Bell being his sort of associate, they are roughly the same age and seem to share characteristics. I can't see any more than two GTA IV characters returning otherwise it'd get silly, like they all conveniently decided to hold a reunion on the west coast.

I am considering getting this, haven't played a skateboarding game since THPS4. I fancy something different and AC III has got dull rather quickly. Is this any good?
  19. Haha is that the mission where you have to chase Hickey? I too chased him round the same circuit for about 10 minutes, the instructions weren't very clear, they just said "chase him" and I didn't realise you had to tackle him to the ground. I thought after chasing him it would go to a cutscene but it never did, so round and round we went. Suffice to say after 15 attempts and losing him I gave up trying to avoid shoving people and then I thought "hey what if I tackle him?" and lo and behold it worked. I found if you used the rope dart just before the cart pulls across the street it stops him early in the chase so you have a chance to catch up. If you don't have the Spit Roast achievement yet, i'll tell you how to get it. Acquire a musket from somewhere, either by killing a regular or finding a gun rack, find two or more enemies (standing next to each other ideally) when incognito, walk up behind one of them and kill him with square then while the musket is embedded in his gut press triangle to fire the gun at another enemy.
  20. Oh so it's the Cheetah that's the Zonda lookalike. What about a Koenigsegg or a McLaren, wonder if we'll see any of those.
  21. Del Perro Freeway in the trailer and your name has Del Perro in it. Too many dog references.
  22. he sounded like ice cube to me... i'll have another watch soon, but that was the first name that popped into my head... When he says "I'll swing by and sign the contracts, all right? Just ignore the bodies." he sounds like Vincent D'Onofrio, who played the bug Edgar in Men In Black. sorry, i was actually commenting on franklin's voice, i had to edit my post, i quoted the wrong person ... but franklin sounded like ice cube to me... if it ain't, then its someone trying to sound like him... Lol at Trevor's voice actor being Ice Cube.
  23. DB5 albeit with a slightly different grille and a Zonda. Hmmm...
