  1. It turns out someone finally noticed my error, which i only realised after i posted it here. I cut the guy off in the top right corner. So i posted on the pic saying "April fools! Check out the real information @igta5.com" lol Free advertising, lets see how long that lasts.
  2. Well, my fake/mockup of the wall mural. unfinished though as the other artwork is unreleased.
  3. It may not even be Franklin, but he's a black guy that's for sure. My case art isn't that accurate, it's just what i think i can see atm.
  4. Yeah it will probably be finished by tomorrow. Working on it over Easter when not many people were around i'm guessing. So this is roughly what we'll be expecting for the cover. Obviously placeholder images will change, but that's the closest i could find.
  5. Yeah i google searched it and it came up. The bottom one i exposure corrected it so i could see more details.
  6. IMO, they've mirrored her and stuck the phone in front and changed the background. Looking at this new image, you can sort of make out the lines between artwork. I drew over them to make it easier to see. Also from this angle i think i can make out a face, most likely Franklin, a car on the right, and the jetski above...
  7. It's clearly a real advertisement. R* have purposely had it painted just before April fools, to get the community talking, and it's worked. So it's looking like this. A Vinewood sign behind Trevor i see. Maybe a speedboat a the bottom, and one of Franklin above?
  8. So GZ is separate to TPP. I wonder if they'll do what Sony did with Gran Turismo and give you a short prologue, almost like a demo of the game for a small price, and then TPP comes out a couple of months later. Or if they'll do it so you pay for both at he same time, get the first part and then have to wait for the next... http://www.joystiq.c...akeout-hayters/ This is a long read, but it's a good theory about the game, that i found on a MGS forum. Pretty solid theory imo. Gameplay sectin from the conference
  9. It first came out on PSP, but is compatible with Vita. They then made a HD version for PS3 which comes as part of the HD collection.
  10. Got the majority of the texturing to a point where i like it now. Here's a little turn around showing off the metallic surface. I've also done the base gold coin surface.
  11. Yeah i was a little disappointed in hearing Hayter isn't Snake this time around. His voice has become as iconic as Snake himself. But i remember hearing that whilst recording for Old Snake in MGS4, Hayter said that was really hard on his voicebox, and he struggled to do old characters. Maybe that's the reason Kojima didn't approach him this time. About the new trailer: it's now clear that the trailer takes place directly after Peace Walker. The 'Militaires Sans Frontières' Mother Base Oil rigs are destroyed before the coma part of the trailer. Question i have though is: Is this the coma the part in the MGS database, where Big Boss was cloned (Les Enfants Terrible) because they feared his death? and so, Liquid, Solid and the mysterious Solidus were born? If they cloned him at the start of his coma, could 9 years of rapid growth genomes mean Solid Snake could still make an appearance in the game as a young man? Maybe Hayter is secretly still on-board voicing Solid Snake rather than Big Boss. In Kojima's crazy world, i would expect some madness like this. Just a theory. Also, Ground Zeros and Phantom Pain are one and the same game if i'm not mistaken. Why is everyone saying it's two games?
  12. The new Fox Engine is pretty impressive. I sat and watched the Developer conference for two hours lol. As an aspiring game artists, it was worth the watch. They're using a technique called linear light workflow, which means all the game textures are created and stored in the correct gamma range, meaning the textures will still look amazing under any lighting, and will never degrade. They also have a decent technique for capturing 3D assets for the environment, which takes photos of items from every angle, and is then pieced together by the artist. This means textured models should never have any stretching, and look high quality from every angle. Badass screencap!
  13. Omg Franklin CJ Grove Street family bandana wearing nigga!
  14. Yeah these clearly arent next gen, but they're damn good for current gen consoles.
  15. I think they only posted them because of all the moaning fans >_>

    Bioshock

I loved the first one. The second felt slightly repetitive an i gave up, didn't even complete it, as i only rented it. Infinite does look like it has that magic the first one had though. I may well pick this up when i get paid.

    Battlefield 4

^ What! Really impressed by that, considering i found BF3 a huge let down. I lost faith in FPS games after Call of Duty milked it tbh, so i'm wary of them. But this does like the real deal.

    PS4

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xplm1FBFeQY BF4 looks very impressive, considering i lost faith in the FPS genre after MW. It was on the IGN PS4 page, so i assume this is out on next gen...

    PS4

Inside the PlayStation 4 with Mark Cerny http://www.gamasutra..._Mark_Cerny.php More about the PS4 will hopefully be revealed at Sony's GDC conference. So far there's a lot of talk about independent titles and cross play/platform/save. Primal Carnage revealed for PS4 running on the unreal 4 engine. The wet graphics look really nice, as well as the lighting effects.
