The touchface controller seems like a weird thing. But as long as it feels like a physical controller in my hands, i don't mind a touch pad surface. After completing GTA3 and VC on my phone, i'm more open to change...

Yeah i like the idea of going round a friends with my controller, logging in too and playing co-op in the same room. Could this mean the local co-op is making a comeback?

  4. I can't even put a normal lens in my eye without wincing like a girl, let alone one with either hefty chip or a wire hanging from it! lol Either way, i can see potential with this. If you combine it with the tracking you could 'in theory' have a full virtual reality game. When you look around (irl) the camera is your eyes. But movement would be an issue. Controllers could still work i guess. Games where you play first person, or driving/racing game in first person would work great with this. I can see Gran Turismo 6, in-car-veiw with these lenses on. That would pretty awesome imo...

  6. I've signed up for the closed beta. Those interested, but not sure whether or not to buy, should try get into beta first, see if it's worth while imo...
  7. I guess that's how they drag in all the fantasy geeks. WoW has amazing trailers, some of the best quality CG, same goes for tOR, Diablo etc. But the gameplay is nothing like the trailers... If they put as much of the budget into gameplay as they did into the cutscenes, we'd probably have the best MMO out there. I do love Elder scrolls though. So i still may play this. Hopefully if it's FTP. Looks like they've improved the lighting among other things a little since i last looked at this: Looks like they're creating the entire continent of Tamriel after all. The Elder Scrolls Online, you’ll be able to revisit some familiar places from previous Elder Scrolls games, including areas in the Tamriel regions of Skyrim and Morrowind. Our team has gone to great lengths to carefully recreate many beloved Tamriel locales (those with a keen eye might even spot a few Easter Eggs while exploring ESO). Past meets future as we take a trip down memory lane and revisit great moments in Tamriel's history with a few “now and then” comparisons, featuring locations from previous Elder Scrolls games and The Elder Scrolls Online *becomes more interested* http://elderscrollso...and-then-places
  8. I downloaded this on my Vita, just attempted the Gameboy Skin & colour grading xD looks totally authentic! lol
  9. It's hard to choose just one. I like these the most: Seaside roadrage Car sky dive Trampage
  10. Unfair! I'm on Plus atm, and it's not free for me yet... I don't care though. Is well worth the price.
  11. That mouse is like the supercar equivalent of a mouse. It's a £100 mouse. I won it on ebay for £65 though. I use it for gamjng, bu also 3D work, so I'll b making the most of it.
  12. Just upgraded my mouse to a rat (9) Now it goes with my keyboard.
  13. Sound like a Vice City phonebooth mission, is it on all formats like RCR, or only XBLive? >
  14. Did you grow up in the late 80's early 90's? Were you a fan of films like Bill & Ted, or Back to the Future? Did you grow up playing 8bit and 16bit games? Well this is the game for you! I poked my head into PSN last night and noticed RCR on PSN. I looked at some gameplay a while back and thought GTA (1 era) instantly. So i downloaded it, without hesitation. When i turned the game on i was greeted by an old fashioned TV screen within my TV screen, with some familiar icons around the sides. In options i was able to change the skin surrounding the TV to best suit my nostalgic trip! Straight to the point - The game is essentially based on all the best pop-cult moments of the late 80's early 90's (Mastersystem, NES etc). That includes games such as; GTA, Mario, and many more, which i'll leave for you to smile at if you decide to play this game. Even Film & TV play a huge influence over scenarios in this game, and every mission, leaves a smile on your face, and a bit of nostalgia on the side. I've not completed the game yet, but so far it's a quick paced action packed game, with plenty of side missions to keep you busy, including taxi driving, hidden packages, and even casino min-games. The game is an arcade game developed in the exact same way as the NES era. So expect a replayable story at the core, with friends high scores to beat. Along with Story mode, you have a freeroam mode, and a few challenges in arcade challenge mode. There is lots of customisation within the game, including how your character looks, with loads of shops in the city to buy stuff in. The audio is brilliant. The music, and the sound effects, all in 8-bit. You'll be thrust back to the late 80's early 90's with the music alone. Outstanding sound imo... Overall i'm totally shocked by this little gem hidden away on the PSStore, it's totally worth your £9 and as it's all 8bit, the file download it no more than 30mb < LOL Story 9/10 Gameplay 9/10 Graphics 10/10 Audio 10/10 Overall 9/10 Although only a small Indy title, it's very polished and very fun. Also, if you're a PS3 & Vita owner, you get a crossbuy and cross save function, meaning you only buy the game once, and you're able to save to PSN cloud and load up from where you left off whilst out and about.
  15. Nope. You 360 lot are lazy mo'fucka's.
  16. I have a 40" LCD Toshiba TV for my PS3, and a 23" OLED monitor screen for looking at these forums! OLED is a lot more cost efficient than any other screen type at the moment. The contrasts are good on LED, the whites are very bright. Snow looks very white on it. But the Blacks aren't as great on an LED imo. My LCD's blacks are really black and shit all over the LED's attempt at black. Both have their pros and cons though, it's all a matter of preference. Also, if i'm honest, a 21" screen/monitor with 'high def 1080p display' looks ten times better than a 50" with the same ratio. Smaller pixels of light = sharper and more detailed image... So having the biggest screen isn't at all a good thing... The only real perk of having a huge TV is if you have a huge room to display it in, and you you're sitting a good distance away from it. Personally i think a 32"-42" display is ample enough for any room though.
  17. I had great fun last night. The main event was action packed. I liked the fact i put the whole of Liberty City as the map, but we ended up getting messy in Dukes. The amount of one on ones that turned into three-way shootouts, or third man wipeouts was so funny. I think bOnEs managed to get a couple of decent double kills with the rocket launcher. 'Godfather was the ultimate background assassin, taking out two at a time on a regular basis lol. The races were pure gold too. I was utterly crap at the helicopter race, but i only chose it because i wanted to shot the shit out of people - shame there were no rockets. The only thing i managed to win was the Emergency vehicle race, with the ambulances. The bit at the start where someone lobed a grenade out the window and like 3-4 f the ambulances either exploded or flew over my head as i belted through to take pole position. Great game guys, See you next week! - Fun is what you make it.
  18. Yeah sure, i'm in. I miss these. Weekly events are pretty good actually, because you have hardly any time to prepare before being thrust into the action! lol
  19. well, my autoaim is off and I've dissallowed it in game, so it should work out ok.
  20. Don't forget to add me on PSN if any of you haven't already go me. I'm tonights host.
  21. ^ GTA IV. Okay GFather, powerful weapons it is then. And yeah sure bOnEs, I'll use random.
  22. Well I'll sort the game out when I get back from work. I'll chose a map arena at random, last minute, to keep this thing interesting, if that's cool with you guys?
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQzuL60V9ng Not sure how old this is, but pretty impressive tech imo. I can see this being used in future war though... Not just as spy drones, but armed craft possibly too. They sound like bugs, imagine them in a swarm...
