Every game model. So yeah all of above.

I was talking about games in general, but SR3 was the first game that popped into my head. I know SR is nothing like GTA.

Exactly, Saints Row 3 had airline planes, but only one city and one airport. Games are fictional and don't need a reason for some things.

Yeah there are some really intricate models out there, some i dare even attempt. I'm happy with my attempts at the simple 8bit looking ones lol. This doesn't even look like paper lol These are awesome! More for the Fallout Fans: Soon my house will be cluttered with paper i know it! /edit I've actually found a few programs and scripts that allow me to open GTA models and layout them as paper models. I wont post anything to do with exporting models from the games, but if i ever get round to making paper models i'll post those here. Any cool objects from GTA i should make?

There is libraries of templates online along with building instructions. Just search for the robot you want followd by papercaft in google.
-
Thats mega impressive. I think origami takes more patience and practice, but the finak prduct looks better than other forms of papercaft.

I could make some brass knuckle dusters in 3D and when i unwrap it to texture, maybe figure a way to add flaps to the edges and print out a copy of the texture sheet. That's pretty much how all the detailed models are made anyway

Yeah i love little game assets rather than main characters. It's a bit more subtle, that only fans will understand what they are when they see them. There's some awesome artists out there that purely design illustrative papercraft models. And i think they're great. Here's some more examples lol. (i can't get enough!) And just lol:

Yeah, any sort of paper crafting. Origami and papaer mache are fun too. I remember getting the heavy rain origami sheet free when I rented the game a couple of years ago. That's the only time I've ever attempted origami. Pretty similar to box folding though. There are some really cool paper templates out there that I've seen I want a few for my 'gaming display cabinet' which i use for figures and memorabilia. Here is a couple i'm going to to make soon:

You'd be surprised. The cuby/boxy ones are very easy indeed. My 4 year old Son can even do them lol. The ones like Yoshi up there are a bit more difficault. They're basically in-game models printed out and folded along the wireframe. I found those really hard to glue and clip together. I've made a couple of those GTA Chinatown wars ones, they're pretty easy.

Has anyone here ever done any papercrafting? I've made a couple of nostalgic game assets that make me smile every time i look at them. It's surprisingly fun and easy to do. I sometimes create things with my son as he's at hat age where he loves arts and crafts anyway. Here is some examples of cool papercrating if you've never seen it before, it's quite a popular activity. If you have done any, or want to make some, then please show This is a great source of cubee papercraft designs: http://www.cubeecraf...re/pop-culture/

p.s. bOnEs where are you? this is the sort of game i'd expect you to be playing! If you do in fact read this, FC3 pisses all over FC2 in a good way. You shouldn't get too bored with this game, as there's plenty to do, not to mention co-op gameplay (which is independent from the story) and competitive multiplayer, but that's a bonus. The Single player is well worth the price. - Best game last (2012) year.

This game really is my game choice of the year. So polished, and so much to do. They've done a great job keeping on top of the Surivial FPS genre. For those of you that haven't played this yet, play it, you wont be disappointed. The story has elements of Uncharted, Dead Island, and FC2 obviously, The Beach (film) - in terms of young travelers. When i look at the mountains, i think GTA V map could look this good! Also, i have a question about gameplay:
-
Hmm... Can you show us your colour picker so we can see how many colours you have to work with? You may have web colours ticked.
-
Yeah fitty is right. This is called gradient banding. You look like you're in a very low bit mode. For the smoothest possibles gradient you need a high bit. depending on your monitor and the file extensions you save the image out, the quality of the gradient could differ. Try making a 32bit image and redraw your gradient, and aave it as either a TGA (targa), BMP or PNG for best quality.

Don't remember reading that. Would be good though. Fire up the old RAG3 file..... Looking back on it, the storyline was way too short. DLC's would be good. I agree. The game was beautiful, just too short. The Scorchers DLC Rage's first bundle of DLC, "The Scorchers," is available now on PC and Xbox 360 for $4.99/400 MS Points, with the identically priced PS3 version dropping with this evening's PSN update. The package adds a new clan, new weapons, new areas to be angry in, a new "Ultra-Nightmare" difficulty level and the added ability to keep playing the game, even after the story has ended. Link

Wasnt there a new DLC being released fo this game? if they've been working on it over a year, im sure it'll be worth while...

Revision: 5. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition 4. Metal Gear Solid - HD Collection 3 .Hitman: Absolution 2. Max Payne 3 1. Far Cry 3 On reflection AC3 was pretty cool, but not in my top 5.

There's nothing scarier than driving through thick jungle canvas at high speed on a quad bike to find a nice rocky cliff drop at the other end...

It now makes more sense for it to be Big Boss, I just don't get the whole one arm thing, (though Ocelot got a new arm so why couldn't Big Boss), Only thing is GZ and MGS5/PP seem to be set around 30 years before the events of MGS1/Shadow Moses, so was the tech there at that time? Like I said above. If this is a hallucination/Dream caused by little mantis' s mjnd control, then the arm wouldnt have to make sense. The trailer to me, looks like one big messed up dream. The whale of fire.... that shit cant be real lol.

ah right. I was a little confused by the temples as they seemed south amercan, but some of the white folk seemed like south africans, then others looked like south americans lol...
-
Why is there Nigerian/Ugandan guerilla gangs in south America...? lol If they're meant to be southern, the accents are way too african.

Not sure if the deal's ended, but i picked it up for £5.20 or something. I think it's usually £9.99 - Still cheap imo.
